It sucks. I tried using it and it practically ripped my skin off. Now I have a burn-like patch on my upper lip! I prefer to have hair than a huge, painful patch of missing skin!To make it even worse, it didn't remove much hair at all! I will NEVER buy something like this again. Worst product ever. It's much better to go to a salon or buy a cream. Worst product of my life.

Edited to add, one week later: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If you absolutely MUST try it, please test it on a small inconspicuous area of your face first! It's now been a week and I have the worst breakout I've had since I was 16, all along my jawline and chin where I used the strips. I haven't changed a single thing else about my face care routine, so I know it's these strips. I'm just glad I didn't need to use it on my upper lip, because I can hide a breakout on my jawline a lot easier than one in the middle of my face...

I bought the ones for face and bikini, to use on my face. It got...*most* of the hair off. Eventually. But it took me longer than using a depilatory cream would have (which is what I normally do), and I had to do a lot of tweezing to help things along, and went over areas multiple times. And I still have patches where I can feel fuzz if I run my fingers over it!

Oh, and it gave me a nice half-dozen little mini-zits along my jawline. Such a thoughtful parting gift!

Edited to add: another 12 hours later (so about 24 hours after the original use), I now have probably two dozen small zits/whiteheads, pretty much covering the whole area of my face that I used these stupid things.

it barely removed my hair at all!!! i used it on my legs and i went through most of the box on the first day...the wax wasnt strong enough to pull the hair out and the residue is hard to remove...and the liquid they provide to clean the wax and smooth ur legs is WAY to small...i guess u get what u paid for, will definitely NOT be repurchasing....

I am not really hairy and the hairs I have are so thin and blonde that you can barely see them. They come off easily with whatever you use, tape maybe! I usually use another brand, because one single strip can actually be used more than once. But the store was short of it so I picked Sally Hansen because I trust the brand although it is not upscale and because it has done miracles for my nails.

HUGE FAIL.
The strips were small, few and useless: I had to use multiple strips to remove the weakest hair.

I will never buy it again: aside from being useless, expensive for the result and totally worthless... it also causes you irritation because you have to wax the same area more than once.
Not for me!!!!

I hate this product. First of, it does not remove much hair at all. Second, it seriously burned my skin one time...I did nothing out of the ordinary and it removed so much skin from my upper lip and I was in pain for days and it left a gross scar. Lastly, every time I use these I break out in tiny whiteheads. Save your money.

Simply horrible! At first I tried the smaller strips on my face, but they did not even pull out a single hair! Then I tried it on my forearms and it did pull out some hairs, but quite inconsistently and I had to use more than one strip on the same spot.. even though the thought of waxing at home is cheaper than going to a salon, using this wax kit is more expensive because it just plain sucks! Don't waste your money.

YUK! How is product still even on the market? I have used this on my arms, it doesn't work and leaves a nasty residue! Seriously this a total waste of money I wouldn't recommended it to anyone unless you just want to throw your money in the garbage! Sally Hansen wax hair remover products all suck IME, never again!

If you're looking to use this on your lip, you'll love these strips. So much easier than heating anything up, and for me it got every hair. This does a better job than my expensive stylist at my salon did. The only thing that sucks about being Polish is having to do this, but it's way better than bleaching since that seemed to make my whole upper lip whiter than the rest of my face (which it still is, awesome). The complaints below seem to be about the bikini area, which I don't use these for, so no help there. I have used them above my brow but now below with good results. No problems with breakouts from the oil, and I've got pretty sensitive skin. My only complaint would be that I wish the face and bikini area strips were sold separately, because I'm left with a bunch of huge strips that I have to cut up to use, leaving the other bits useless. Still a fan.

This product did not remove any hair whatsoever. The strip didn't even feel sticky to the touch. I thought maybe it was just the one strip, so I tried opening & using more in the box & they didn't work. Very disappointing. I used to use Veet wax strips & they did the job wonderfully on my upper lip! But I can't find them in any stores anymore :(

Totally, totally useless. I bought these thinking I could use them for just some easy bikini "cleanup," you know, nothing major--not going for a full brazilian or anything. NOTHING.
It hurt marginally, more like masking tape or something, and did NOTHING but make my skin red. I tried using these things all over my legs just to see if it would take off ANYTHING. I counted a couple hairs. Totally lame. I tried heating with my hands, my blowdryer--was using in a non-humid room. I dunno what the deal was.
WORTHLESS

i agree with you all, this product is useless. funny too, b/c the regular wax strips work very well. i thought these might be less irritating for the skin, but they left blue goo all over my legs and removed nothing! dont waste your money, stick to the normal strips!

Better than nothing -- but not by much. Bears a striking resemblance to packing tape -- and delivers similar results. I found use in the bikini area caused parts better left separated to stick together, if you take my meaning.

This is an excellent product for facial hair such as upper lip and eyebrows. I have tried to wax my upper lip a few times before and always ended up with a terrible reaction on my skin for about a week, how embarrassing!! lol!

It's perfect size for waxing your eyebrows and since you pull the strips apart to make two different strips you can get a sharpie and kinda create a stencil of the arch you want and trim along your sharpie line and both eyebrows end up identical!! So easy took about 3 mins altogether.

The oil does kinda break you out a but and I wouldn't recommend for the eyebrow area and it ends up on your lids and gave me red, stingy reaction!!

But well worth it!!

okay for upper lip, did the job (however stay away from the azulene oil-i broke out terribly!) but for bikini area, it sucks. only removed about 1/3 of the hair, and then you cant go back over it, so youre stuck. i think i'll go to the salon instead for that! ;)

This product is very good overall, if you don't expect too much. It is not a conventional wax and therefore is not going to be as effective in the removal of coarse hair. These wax strips worked very well on my arms, where the hair is not too coarse. I'd be afraid to try them on my legs or bikini area, yikes! The strips are very easy to use and aren't messy at all. Just make sure to wash and dry the skin completely, as the strips do not work well on damp or oily skin. It also helps to warm the strips with a blow dryer rather than just warming them between the hands. I've been happily using these for over a year and plan to continue to use them.

This did not work at all for me. I have used many kinds of at-home eax kits, and this is the worst. Absolutely no hair was removed no matter where I used it.

i use this only for my upper lip. i find it's a little too hard to manage for my eyebrows, so i'll stick to getting those done professionally. but just for the 'stache, i'll be keeping this sally hansen stuff. it could not be any easier!
