I love this! Starlet Rose is a pinkish rose with gold glitter in it . It is such a nice color on me (NC30). It does feel gritty going on (think exfoliating scrubbers). The look of the glitter isn't chunky though because the glitter is very microfine. I agree with the person who said that without the gold glitter, this shade would be unwearable, it is kind of a fuschia color. But the glitter makes it look so good. This lippie also goes with a lot of different looks without clashing. The price makes this product worth trying because it's so cheap. I don't really like the packaging but it is functional. I don't like the bullet shape and that the tip is rounded instead of the normal lipstick slant. The taste/smell is also very nice, it is a berry flavor.

A great lippie if you're looking for the sheer rosy red & gold shade. It feels a little gritty when applying it on but the gold shimmer is actually not chunky at all. It looks much more refined when applied than it does in the tube. The lippie is also a bit numbing when first applied but the feeling subsides within minutes. I just wish Jane made a l/g in this exact same shade. The only other lippie that I can think of off the top of my head is Shiseido's Ruby Lustre gloss, which is $20! While this...is just $3 or so, not bad! :)

I must say that without the gold glitter, this shade would be completely unwearable for this medium olive-complected girl. The gold tones down the pink and makes for a great, albeit dramatic, lipcolor!

This lipstick isnt too bad.. the only thing I dont really like is the gritty glitters but I dont really mind it.. the color is sheer so it really doesnt feel like a gloppy listick which is a good thing.. it gives me hint of color on my lips.. not too overpowering.. I got this for only 1.75 at CVS on sale.. I would buy again..

I wore this lipstick all summer! It a nice darker pink berry color with bits of glitter. I was impressed because the color actually showed up on my dark pigmented lips, a rare thing to find in most lipsticks I try. It also had a nice berry smell that wasn't over powering. This makes me want to look into the other lucky star lipcolors!

I bought this on a whim because it was glittery and cheap. I'm so glad I did!

It's a pretty pink with fairly large pieces of glitter in it. It's not as dark as it looks in the tube - it's fairly sheer on me, with just enough color. It's not gritty like some glitter lipsticks, it's pretty, and it smells great!

This is the perfect summer red! It goes on moist, and leaves your lips with a light, reddish shimmer that is very attractive. I bought a mini and fell in love and had to get the full size. Although some may not like the grit, it didn't bother me at all.

I like this lipstick. It goes on me a rose color with gold shimmer and glitter. The only thing I don't really like is the big chunks of glitter I occasionally see but I can ignore that. I thought I'd hate the round end but actually it goes on easier than a slanted tip. I don't have to look at the lipstick and find the slant, etc. I can swipe and go without looking in a mirror. The other colors seem to all be browns so I'll be looking foward to finding another pink.

This is a really pretty color. It seems dark in the tube, but it makes your lips look very healthy. Thegold glitter gives it a cute fnky kick. Perfect color for any season. Go out and buy it!

I don't know whay people don't like the packaging, I think it's cute. The lipstick itself is in a silver-colored cylinder encased in a sleek clear outer tube with a rounded top. Starlet Rose is the 3rd of these Lucky Star shades I've tried. It's my least favorite so far, just because it's a bit too magenta to be ideally flattering on me. Still a fun color anyway.

Unlike the other reviewers this is not red on me but more a shimmery bright berry shade. I really love the color. Kind of reminds me of Spark glossimer in a sheer lipstick instead. Color is more sheer than opaque, which is my preference. Has a little sparkle but is totally wear since it is sheer. Smells like berries.

Such a pretty color. Really sheer, shows up a nice light red. Makes lips look nice and shiny and stays decently. Also has a nice, faint strawberry smell. I don't really like the packaging, but overall it's great.

This is areally rich, true red with some sparkles in the tube, and it goes on as a sheer strawberry red with some shimmer on this cool PPP, it really works!
