I bought the Sexed Up shampoo and conditioner at T K Maxx, so it wasn't full price but still cost more than I would usually spend on shampoo. I was hoping it would give my hair (which is thick but flat) some much-needed volume. When I first used it it left my hair feeling nice and soft and less weighed down, but to be honest I think that was just new-shampoo effect. I've now been using it for a few weeks and my ends are dry but my roots are getting greasy much more quickly. I'm concerned that the shampoo is having a clarifying effect because the ends are so dry and washed-out looking (I avoid clarifying shampoos because my hair is coloured), and that my scalp is reacting by producing more oil. The conditioner certainly isn't compensating for the drying effect; it's ok, but not particularly moisturising. I don't notice any added volume with this. It smells nice and isn't the worst shampoo I've ever used, but it's certainly not worth the money - I have bought shampoos for £1 that perform better than this one.

I wasn't very pleased with the outcome, after trying this shampoo.
My scalp would feel oily, and my hair would look really dry and lifeless, with no movement at all.
I guess, looking at most of the reviews, that it might work for some people, depending on their hair type (mine is thin and kind of fragile), so I'm giving it 3*

I am a hair product junkie as I'm a hairdresser.

The shampoo lathers well, cleans the hair. Whilst the conditioner moisturises the hair & that's about it. It is nothing special.

I would not recommend this to people with fine, greasy hair. It will NOT volumise the hair. The conditioner can leave the hair feeling greasy but you could just apply it to the ends.

There are much better, cheaper shampoos and conditioners out there that will deliver the same results.

Great shampoo! I am a devoted Kerastase fan and have been reluctant to stray.... however, i've only used this a few times and i love it! It lathers really well and does help to volumise. Great smell! Would buy again!

I'm not using the conditioner as i suffer with oily roots so i use a small amount of Andrew Collinge Blonde conditioner.

Well I've had this shampoo for about 2 weeks now. I don't use it everyday, i switch on and off with this shampoo and Nizoral because I have severe scalp psorisis(sp)...anyways, my hair type: baby fine, thin, dry, sparse, and FRAGILE! Day 1: I loved the yummy smell and while lathering the shampoo, it made my hair feel silky and soft, like satin. When I blowed dry my hair I was shocked to see absolutely no frizz. That's unbelievable for me. My hair always looks like a giant frizz ball. No, a flat frizzy mess. Ever since that first day I have been having the same results. The shampoo doesnt give my extremely thin hair HUGE volume. Only product does that. But I do notice more body and bounce. But this shampoo in gentle, makes it shiny and soft, and it feels amazing to the touch, smells great too. I love it, and probably will always buy it. I'm that satisfied.

this is a review for the conditioner which i found in the clearance section for $2.50..i had been wanting to try this product for years after reading about what it promised and the reviews here so i decided to pick it up since it was so cheap. i have fine and limp hair and i've been on the search still for that miracle solution (besides chopping my hair off).i used this last night with LUSH's big shampoo and i just want to say i was completely disappointed. and it wasn't the shampoo. cause big usually leaves my hair pretty and shiny and happy. but as what a previous reviewer wrote about it feeling oily, i did feel that. and i feel it still since my hair is limper than ever!! :( i really wanted this to work out but i still have a full bottle left, i'm gonna try to give it a few more chances and see what it can do for me.

Do not buy this if you have oily hair. I found it weird because people with oily hair normally have fine limp hair and does need some volumising products. This shampoo and ocnditioner, not only did not volumise my hair but also made my hair became greasier than ever as soon as it dried. The cleaning agents are poor. Maybe they emphasise on the volumizing part too much and forget that the cleanness is a very important first step.

i love this shampoo/conditioner. it's very moisturizing and makes my hair look and feel great. i love how i dont need to use very much product for it to do it's job. the shampoo really lathers up well and the conditioner ISNTANTLY makes my hair soft and shiney. the tangles are gone almost immediately after i rinse. i also use a separate conditioning treatment (butter treat) once a week with these products and i've found my hair is thanking me! i highly recommend sexed up shampoo/conditioner and will continue to use it FOREVERAH!!!!

I really like this shampoo and conditioner. Used together, this duo works at building volume for my long, straight hair. I think it is overpriced, like other Tigi products, but you can often find deals and discounts at retailers such as Ulta and Trade Secret. The scent is very strong and I dislike smelling of pink lemonade in the middle of winter, but it's worth it because of the results. Definite repurchase. It is one of a few HG combos I use over and over again.

This wasn't the worst shampoo I have ever used but the combo with the conditioner left my hair tangled after repeated usage. Also, it did not feel like it was actually cleaning my hair.

The shampoo is simply a nice high end shampoo. I only need a little for my long hair and it lathers richly and feels moisturising.
The conditioner is fantastically moisturising and I cannot believe how little I need to use. Normally I need to slather on conditioner before I can feel it working. They say on the bottle you can leave this on a little longer if you want it to work as a deep treatment - works for me.
However that said the is no spectacular improvement on body in my hair. I will repurchase purely for how lovely and moisturising they are.

This review is for the shampoo. This is a creamy shampoo which has good lather. The raspberry lemonade scent is fantastic. As far as volumizing goes, I'm not sure it volumizes very much, but most body-building shampoos really don't do much of anything. This shampoo is very similar to TiGi Self Absorbed shampoo in its performance. This leaves my hair slightly "squeaky", just like Self Absorbed, but the end result is shiny, bouncy hair, so I'm happy!

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I was lucky to buy this at "2 for the price of 1" in Hong Kong. I find that it is very concentrated so I only need a little for my long hair. My hair is a lot smoother and moisturised after using it. My only problem...I hate how the conditioner bottle is a lot smaller than the shampoo bottle.

This review is for the shampoo. Yummy! It smells great, and works like a charm! Doesn't strip hair at all. The tonic is awesome, too!

This is my HG shampoo. Love the smell--it reminds me of grapefruit or lemonade. I have fine, oily hair and I've found that it doesn't leave my hair greasy or limp like many others do. This is great stuff! (If only they made a body lotion that smelled like this shampoo...)

The shampoo smells wonderfull. I alternate beetween this one and Redken's headstrong... can't decide which one's the best. Edit: After using both for a while I must say that I prefer redken. Due to the strong scent you get bored of it easly.

Good product, although I'm not sure if it's quite worth the price. My aunt tried it and she seemed to really like it..but she likes anything.

While I adored the smell, this didn't seem to add any body to my wavy/curly hair. I have hair that falls limp quite easy, and I am always looking for something the help make it look a bit lighter and full. This did not work at all for me in that department, but it cleaned good and did not strip my hair. I just hate how the conditioner bottles are smaller than the shampoo bottles, as when the bottles are the same size I run out of conditioner first, and this way I have to buy 2 bottles of conditioner for 1 bottle of shampoo, which I feel is a waste of money. Too bad, because as I said, this stuff smells heavenly!
