This is a very pretty bronzey/coppery color with gold and copper shimmer in it . Does not flatter my cool skin tone though.

This is a lovely shade in the pan, but seems to have no pigmentation! I used my UD primer and this still didn't even last for more than an hour. Felt powdery and cheap, like something from ELF. Not worth the price and I wouldn't recommend it.

This is a great eyeshadow! I love the color, because it's a red/orange brown it makes my blue eyes stand out. Red & orange are opposite blue on a color wheel so you get the biggest contrast with those kind of colors. I like to pack this on my lid after a primer 2 or 3 times and it stays on pretty much all day.

Too red for my light skin. I really have to pair it with a darker matte brown in order to make it look decent on my skin. Very pigmented and leaves a shiny finish on your lid.

I received Copper Penny and Honey Drop in a GWP and I am absolutely impressed with the color, long-wearability and subtle texture. My skintone is very fair (NW10-15ish) so I have to be careful with ultra-pigmented and frosty eye shadows because they make me look like a resident at the Playboy Mansion. This duo is exactly what I'm looking for! Copper Penny is a lovely crease shade that enhanced the depth of my crease, brought out the green in my eyes and stayed color-true all day. Both shades have a refined, subtle texture that keeps me looking realistic, not makeup-y.
I'm a Bobbi Brown fan because I love her subtle shades and textures, but after using these two shades I'm ready to try more Estee Lauder!

Received this as a gift from my parents, and I now refuse to use any other eyeshadows orther than Estee Lauder, I have a pallet with 6 colours in, it's not listed on here, so I'm just going to review each colour. They all go on extremly well, they are soft and silky, last all day and can be put on very lightly for a subtle look, or built up for a heavier look. Copper Penny is a great slightly shimmery brown shade, it works well with Honey Drop for a more detailed look, or on it's own for a deeper individual colour, again when I'm running late for work. Also works well as a lower lash liner.

I adooore this. So many people use gold or silver, and I find this so much more original. It stays on really well too.

My mom happened to have this in her stuff and gave it to me because she didn't like the way it looked with her fairskin/blue eyes/Red hair. I however, LOVE IT. Fairskin/blue eyes/Blonde hair. This is a good everyday, look great eye shadow. I wouldn't use it when I'm trying to make a statement though.

perfect matter medium-dark brown. blends well and is indispensible when doing a smokey eye. that is not overly intense but still packs a punch. i got this in a GWP but will likely repurchase

A lady at work gave an eyeshadow quad to me because she got it for free and didn't want it. Copper Penny is one of the colors (I can't remember the names of the other ones) and I've been wearing it all week because I like it so much. It blends very well and really compliments my pale, warm skintone and blue eyes. I favor a natural look so this color is perfect because it gives my eyes just enough definition without looking like I'm wearing a lot of make up. The only reason why I wouldn't purchase this is that, while I like it, I'm sure I could find something comparible at my local Wal-mart for cheaper than this would probably cost.

Highly pigmented, a little dab'll do ya! The color looks great on my lids (greenish hazel eyes). It's so pretty I wore it at my wedding.
My only gripe is the packaging sucks, the little cube is cute but the hinge broke on me within the first month and now it's kind of a pain to keep track of in my train case and make sure it doesn't get damaged. It lasts forever, though.

This is a beautiful sheer, matte, warm medium brown with no glitter, shine, or sparkle. This is very elegant and conservative yet very beautiful and wearable and natural at the same time. I docked one lipstick because I think that this color is too warm for my pale, cool-neutral coloring in some looks. If I wear neutral-colored clothing and want to pull off a warmish toned eye, this is perfect for me. I would more than likely repurchase this one and would most certainly reccomend it especially if you are warmed toned or have golden or olive skin. This is beautiful no matter who it's on, however.

Beautiful medium brown contouring color! great for daytime, and you can wet it and use it at night time. It pairs very nicely with Honey Drop.

Nice shadow, the texture is fine, blendable and silky. Looks good when you are on vacation and in the summer with the bronze natural look. It will also last a long time. Lives true to its name with copper penny because thats the shade with a little gold shimmer. I have brown eyes so its a neutral natural look. But I can imagine that this would make blue eyes look simply amazing.

A pretty neutral brown with copper shimmer. The same hue as the liner--copper writer. Silky texture and blendable but not enough pigment for my liking. A bit too subtle, but looks nice when smudged on top of the copper-writer liner. This colour looks boring on my brown eyes, but I can see it really bringing out lighter eyes.

Pure Color Eyeshadow in Copper Penny is a pretty sheer coppery brown color. I dont like the sheerness and lack of pigment in Estee Lauder Shadows so I will not repurchase. Retails for $20 and comes in a cute lucite cube. Quality is lacking.

Thought this would look be a good crease but it was better on the lid. Not really good as a liner with my olive complexion.

i got a small cube of this when I went to buy the hot pink mascara that they were selling ( I thought it would be a fun mascara) and I must say that I should have spent my money on this shadow instead!! This really makes my blue-green eyes ( some days they look blue some days green) POP!! I really like this color. I will definately buy the big one!

Looks like I'm the lone dissenter here! I DO like this color a lot, and agree that it's great for redheads. In fact, I like it for filling in my brows because it matches my hair color of the moment quite well. It's also flattering to my green eyes. However, I find the texture too powdery and flaky. Maybe I'm spoiled by my Lancome eyeshadows, which I adore, but this was taking me back to my Cover Girl days when I used it this morning. It's not strongly pigmented, which is fine if you can build the color up, but by the time I had acheieved a satisfactory color on my eyelids I had all this dust under my eye--not an area that needs to be any darker mind you--as well as gooping up the inner corner of my eye and powdering my eyelashes like chalk dust. I did the other eye with a sponge applicator instead of a brush and it was less flaky, but still required cleaning under my eye, and I can do without that. This shadow does blend well and has good lasting power; it's just the texture that kills it for me.

Copper Penny is a shimmery brown that, surprisingly, makes my blue eyes pop. I apply it as a liner and shadow....lightly sweep the lid and blend in the crease a bit more deeply. This is a fabulous shade for redheads!
