LOVE this. It's come down to me realizing that it won't get any better than this pressed powder. I went through so many expensive HE powders trying to find one that looked natural and was in my shade. I use it in 'translucent medium' and it is literally the perfect shade for me -I'm a little darker than NW20. I actually use this over a BB cream and it's great for that purpose because you still get a very natural finish (perfect compliment to Maybelline BB Cream btw.. :) It's NOT heavy coverage. It's intended to be very light which is why it works great for using over liquid foundation or a BB cream.

This is yet another great item from Sonia Kashuk. I continue to be impressed with SK's makeup and makeup tools. High quality for drugstore makeup. Also, the packaging has been redesigned to be black which I actually prefer to the former white compact.

Bought for 9.99 at Target! :)

Found this great powder while searching MUA for a pale setting powder. The lightest shade works well with my very fair skin (without being too dark or orangey) and sets my foundation/BB cream/TM very naturally without looking cakey. Oil does break through when I'm just weating TM, but this has been my HG powder for awhile now. When I'm looking for serious oil control, or extra coverage, I opt for MAC Blot Powder, but this is great for every day looks.

I really like this stuff. It's a good shade, lasts all day, applies lightly, and looks natural. My only issue is, or at least with Target, you can't open the product and it doesn't give you swatches to test on. You gotta judge by the shade which will look best with your skin. Luckily mine is easy to match up, but I'm wondering about the other skin tones that are more unique than mine. Also, or at least when I went to Target, they had maybe three shades. Once again, my skintone is easy to match up but I know others' are more difficult.

Amazing!!!! Really light and has a soft dewey finish that isnt oily. And it makes my skin look very airbrushed! Love love love! Only thing is, it breaks really easily and Im assuming it is because the formula is really soft and light, but Im not sure. Doesnt affect my opinion on how awesome it is though!

I tried the loose counter part to this powder and was very unhappy with the packaging and the price for the amount you get. The price is the same for the pressed and the loose powder but you get half the product. I decided to try this one thinking it would be the same. It was not. It oxidizes. Turns noticeably darker within two hours. The loose powder doesn't do that. It goes on smooth and looks great until it darkens. So I will be sticking with the loose powder. Will not buy again.

I'm not crazy about this powder. It has a yellowish tint to it (as does the foundation I have) so I can't even use it. I have it in translucent light, which just by looking at it in the package matches my skin really well. But once its on, it looks a bit yellow. Its not the foundation I pair it with either, bc I have used more than once foundation with it, so its just the powder itself. I also find it to be shimmery which I don't like in a powder, bc I don't want shimmer all over my face. The packaging is perfect and the price isn't bad (which is why I give it a rating of 3), I just wish the color worked for me.

I love this powder as a mass-market powder. My go-to for cheaper powder was Maybelline Dream Matte powder, but honestly after a while I noticed how chalky it was and how it barely covered anything. This powder is very nicely milled and gives a lot of coverage. It gives a very smooth finish when I use it as a setting powder. I love the packaging because the round, mirror like case can be used as a mirror in itself, so you don't have to open your compact every time you want to check your face. A definite repurchase.

Ive been using this for a few weeks and im very frustrated because I absolutely love the color its in because it matches my fair skin (nc5-nc15) perfectly. I have it in the trans fair which is a very nice neutral color but a tad bit more on the yellow side. The downfall is that this stuff really sinks into my pores and makes them look really big, especially if I use it by itself (without foundation/primer). If i use a primer its a little better and sometimes the foundation helps but Im just sad because I love the color but I hate that it shows my pores so much.

I will keep going back to it every once in a while to use it up I think but I dont think Ill be buying it again : /

The packing is also beautiful and the poof is very soft and velvety and hand washable.

This is my go-to powder I just purchase the one in the round package but I've tried both and didn't notice a difference.
It fits better in my purse or make-up bag.
I apply it with a flat top brush and it leaves a very soft velvety finish.
Doesn't irritate my acne-prone skin
I love the white packaging in the whole Sonia Kashuk collection I think it's really cute.

Just wish it came with more product I go through about 1 every month but it's still worth it
I just picked one up from target today for $9.99

Very very finely milled, silky smooth powder. Comparable to Lancome's pressed powders. Goes on smooth and doesn't look cakey---- would definitely repurchase.

This is the powder I keep in my bag for touchups. It's very light-weight, but it's awesome for controlling oil. I use translucent-fair and I don't notice it making a real significant difference in the color of my skin. the compact is really sturdy, and I like that the puff is in a separate compartment. Another bonus about the packaging--it's got a silver mirror-like finish, so it's pretty easy to find in the bottom of my purse.

I heard so many good reviews on Sonia Kashuk products. So, when I saw this powder on clearance for $2.50, I snatched it immediately. It provides light to medium coverage even though it's dual coverage. It feels slightly heavy so I am hesitant to build the coverage. It doesn't cake and it doesn't irritate my sensitive acne prone skin. It stands up to oil pretty well without reapplying. I use a BE brush to apply it. It's not the worst product but just mediocre.

I'll soon be buying my 3rd compact of this; been using it for a couple yrs now and I have yet to fall out of love with it. I use 'Translucent' (I dislike colored face powder) and it's an extremely high quality product. It applies beautifully with my beloved Eco-Tools powder brush and keeps my face matte all day. Occasionally I'll use a blotting paper midday, but I find that it's really not even necessary. Price is awesome too, around $9.

I have this in Translucent, and it's a great powder for me. The only makeup I wear every day or close to every day is powder, and I wear it to control shine from my slightly oily skin and from sunscreen. This powder covers well and does a good job of evening out my skin tone. There are only two things I don't like: I never use the little powder puff that comes with it, though, because it is so small. I also don't find the mirror to be very useful. But I don't mind, because I really like the powder itself.

this is a decent pressed powder. it's very sheer and doesn't provide any coverage to speak of, but it does a pretty good job of keeping skin matte. did not irritate my skin or make me break out. blends well, does not cake. i usually have trouble finding shades light enough for my very fair skin, but the lightest shade of this powder (chiffon) is actually too pale for me! so definitely check this out if you have trouble finding shades that are pale enough for you. :) the tiny powder puff is ridiculous though.

This is a pretty good powder for keeping the oilies at bay. I have wheat, which is medium w/yellow undertones. It is quite sheer and works well for my NC30 coloring. Not much coverage, but this is not an issue for me since I am mostly concerned with controlling shine, not evening out my skintone (though it does do a good job of that as well). I also really like the packaging, very clean-looking and rather unique because it's a mod white rectangular compact. HOWEVER I do have the following complaints:
-included puff is utter crap. toss it and use something with a finer texture! if you thought this powder was too matte and heavy and fake-looking, try it with a brush or a different puff.
-the mirror needs to be bigger! it's so tiny!
-this powder smells kind of funny. stinky, even.

In spite of these shortcomings this is a good pressed powder. I think I'd buy this again if I were in a pinch but I'm going to keep searching for my HG!

LOVE this powder, it delivers just the right amount of color (I've got Translucent-12), VERY fine-milled, last a good 6-7 hours, and the color selections are NOT pinky (God I hate pink powders), they're more yellow based, so they flatter everyone. You apply one coat and that's all you need, if you don't like the OVERLY matte look, well this is your powder. It has no scent, so you're face won't stink. :) The only thing is that the compact is hard to open! I will re-buy, just like all the other Sonia Kashuk products I've tried so far.
