The SA (who was soo nice btw. Lush employees are the best) gave me a sample of this and the honey fairtrade shampoo and I used them both last night. My brown hair has been highlighted with bleach and because of this it really needs help!. I have incredibly thick (well used to, but I'll explain later) and long hair that when I allow to dry naturally forms loose curls and waves and that stands up on its own. Also its really frizzy and the strands dont stick together and look glossy (i don't know how to explain it) They usually just fuzz all over the place because of the static. I usually combat all this by using hair oils to gloss it over and straightening the shit out of it.It usually relaxes the day after its washed, and the third day its perfect, with it staying where I want it to and looking shiny and tame. Alas it never takes me that long to brush it.
I went into the shower with my hair brushed, and when I conditioned with this it made the BIGGEST tangles in my hair. My tangle teaser couldn't even get at it properly. I lost so much hair trying to get the knots out and I already have a problem with loosing hair (I actually think I'm going bald and wanna cry daily) so this product reaaaaaally didn't help. The plus side is when it was all brushed out it was smooth and shiner than when i usually first get out of the shower, but I could tell I had less hair. My curls were defined and the strands were sticking together. I would actually go out of the house and not feel ridiculous/like I'd come out of the 80's. But at what price?

A little about my hair: dry scalp, fairly dry ends, long, thick, recently colored, easy tangled.
I used a sample of Veganese from a lovely saleswoman at Lush. It smells good but the scent doesn't last. It didn't weigh down my hair or irritate my scalp. In fact, it didn't do much at all. I wouldn't purchase the full size unless I were looking to throw away money on a useless conditioner.

I like the way this conditioner smells, and performs but it's incredibly expensive.
IUt's not overly moisturising but I've been using it as a daily conditioner and using something else as a weekly treatment.
I don't think it's performance justifies the price so I won't be purchasing this again.

To be honest? I do not think any of the lush conditioners do really that much for my hair. But there are better ones and worser ones. And this is one of the worser ones. I do not really like the smell of it but that not surprisingly since i don't like lemony fragrances. But it also does really nothing for my hair. It doesn't look shiner, it isn't softer, just nothing. I way prefer the American cream conditioner which at least makes my hair feel soft and smells incredible. The only thing I really like about it is that it is vegan...

I don't like the smell. It's chemical lemony. It's very thin, but when I was cowashing my hair (not using shampoo, only conditioner) this worked very well, exactly because it's that thin.

I loved:
--- how Veganese smelled
--- how it left my hair smelling delightful
--- that it did moisturize my hair
But I decided against it because:
--- it's too watery
--- I had to use far too much of it
--- it wasn't economical for me

The Veganese hair conditioner from Lush is very thin, so I need to use a lot of product before my hair feels coated. Even then, it doesn't feel very conditioning. Its only redeeming quality is that it smells amazing. At a very expensive EUR17.95 for 500 mL, I expected a lot more from this product. I definitely will not be repurchasing it.

This does leave my hair shiny and smells like lemon.
But the consistency is too thin for my taste- I have to use waaaay too much of it each time and it is too expensive for that. I like my conditioner to coat my hair so I dont feel like Im wasting it down the drain and so I know which part of my hair is already coated!
So basically, while it smells okay and leaves hair shiny, it isnt moisturizing enough for me and it goes way too quickly due to the thin consistency.

I've been on the hunt for a an extremely lightweight conditioner that makes hair shiny...volume & shine? Seemed impossible until I found this. Most 'volumizing' conditioners coat the hair in starch or some variant which makes my hair feel gross not to mention dry. I desperately needed volume and soft, shiny hair...enter Veganese <3 The smell is divine, you only need a small amount, it detangles fairly well (definitely not for super thick hair) but if you have thin, sparse from hair loss etc, dry hair lacking shine and volume give this a whirl..I don't think you'll be disappointed.

New HG conditioner... my hair is fine & gets greasy/weighed down easily if I use the wrong or too much product in it, and although this doesn't make my hair as soft as other conditioners, it's so light that my hair feels better for longer after using it. I absolutely love it, smells yummy too! I took a lippie off because it's super expensive, for me at least... although I'll keep buying it and just using it as sparingly as I can!

I have chemically straightened waist length hair. I got rid of the dead ends and my hair felt pretty healthy after.
I found that this conditioner really tangles my hair, but I do like the lemony smell. I use R&B to detangle after, but I think I would be better off with a stronger conditioner.

this conditioner was much better than American Cream (which dried out my hair) but it's still kind of unimpressive. not the best conditioner i've tried and would not repurchase just because it's not worth the price and i'm better off finding other conditioners.

I really do not like this conditioner. I bought it with the Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo (which I don't like either, though the review I gave that was slightly better). I have hair that was color treated before about two years ago, but I'm growing it out, so it's been a while since any dye has touched these strands. I also heat style my hair very, very rarely, maybe two or three times a month. The point is, my hair is in pretty good condition, though it's naturally a bit on the frizzy, dull side. After reading about the product on the LUSH website, I thought this would be perfect for my specific concerns. WRONG. The product is so light and runny that it doesn't seem to do any conditioning. It leaves my hair looking very damaged, as if it's been overly processed. I have a hard time making myself throw this out since I spent $20 on an 8 oz. bottle, but I really can't keep using this as I feel like it's making my hair worse instead of better.

I wasn't impressed by this conditioner. It didn't do anything great to my hair and it didn't do anything bad either. It was just meh. It actually left my hair kind of dry. I like Aubrey organics conditioners much better.

Tried this conditioner first with Cynthia Stout shampoo, my hair smelt gorgeous and was shiny and soft (although I'm not sure how much that was down to Veganese as Cynthia Stout does the exact same thing used without conditioner). Also tried this with I Love Juicy shampoo, and it did nothing to condition my hair. Admittedly, I Love Juicy does dry out my hair a lot and LUSH does market this as their lightest conditioner. Veganese smells delicious, like the lemon muffins my mother makes. I *may* buy this, but I think I need a conditioner that conditions my hair a lot more as it's on the dry side. Will probably try American Cream next.

using this conditioner for a few weeks now. i have thick dry wavy hair. the positive things about it was that it made my hair shiny and it felt fuller, i think the shine must be from the lemon. only thing is if you have very dry hair, its not very moisturising , i felt my ends were still dry, but this could be because i need a more moisturising intense conditioner which im used to. i liked the smell its very refreshing.

Very good conditioner that smells really good. I have the smallest bottle and although it seems to last a long time. Most important of all is that it not weigh down my fine hair. I will hopefully buy it again. So far I'm very happy with it.

I love this conditioner I got this as a sample my hair type is baby fine and sometimes oily. I've used loads of conditioners that weigh my hair down. But this conditioner makes my hair super soft and it conditions my hair without weighing it down and adds beautiful shine to my hair.

Interesting to see people with sensitive skin who don't like this. I have very sensitive skin, and also very easily greasy hair so this has become my main conditioner. Every week I usually do a deeper conditioner/hair treatment because my hair is very fine, but for regular maintenance this is now my go-to product!

This is a very lightweight, vegan conditioner. The smell is very lemon-y, but calming at the same time. I have wavey, semi-dry hair that I'm trying to grow out the color treatment.
