I recently finished up my Estee Lauder Sunstone Shimmer lipstick and I was in the mood for something different. I have never tried MAC l/s but decided to give them a try. The makeup artist suggested I try Fresh Moroccan. She applied it and WOW! It really brought out my eyes. I have medium/fair skin tone and blue eyes the color of the Caribbean sea. I have thin lips and this lipstick really makes my lips stand out in a good way. I like the shimmer and the staying power is awesome to boot!

I am a red lipstick girl, and on first sight of this in the tube would have never have even considered it. It looks coppery to me. Once again, you have to try it to believe it-this is a beautiful fall color for me (I am a warm skinned brunette with hazel eyes) that I am now absolutely addicted to. Whereas many reds wash me out and are tricky, this color warms and compliments my skin. It is a highly pigmented formula with great staying power. I use it with Amazon liner from Nars, but I think it would be pretty with Mac's Brick or Mahogany. I have never worn a frost, but to me this is not over the top or strange. This is a really sultry color that works well with a smoky eye- which one normally cannot do with a red lipstick. A very very unique color. Will definitely repurchase!

I have tried several of MAC's red lipsticks and Fresh Moroccan is one of my go to reds. I have very pale skin and dark red hair (not dyed). When I wear Fresh Moroccan I always pair it with their Spring Bean gloss. This just does something to the color to make it pop even more. I believe anybody can wear red lipstick you just have to find your color and this may mean mixing until you find the perfect combo. Try anything that you think will work. I just happened to look at the Spring Bean and wondered how it would look on top of the Fresh Moroccan and it was perfect, for me. Now I still have several other reds that I have that I wear alone. One that I don't think they even make anymore called Classic Dame which I guard with my very life. And of course Russian Red. And a YSL stain #20 that I can't live without! But Ruby Woo has never appealed to me. So go out there and find your perfect red!!!

Absolutely gorgeous red... has a warmer undertone but for some reason it looks great with my complexion, which makes me suspect it could work for cool, warm, or neutral undertones.

I wasnt sure id like this when i saw it in the store so i ended up swapping for it instead. Turns out it looks great outside of the garish yellow lighting. Id deff purchase this l/s when i run out. My only quam is the texture is a bit gritty, but easily over looked for me :)

In trying to find the perfect red lipstick, I decided to try MAC's Fresh Moroccan, as I read somewhere that is was ideal for fair skinned ladies. WRONG!

I'm normally very pleased and impressed with MAC products, but this one took the cake for disappointment on many different levels.

This made my already fair complexion look more like a vampire with this shade on – it was actually worse than Lady Danger (I didn’t think that would be possible). Another annoyance with this shade I discovered was MAC’s decision to put small specks of gold glitter in the formula. If you’ve ever used glitter in crafts you know it gets EVERYWHERE. This was no exception, and the glitter lingered long after taking it off. I’m just someone who doesn’t want glitter in my lipstick, I suppose. Eyes? Maybe. Lips? No!

By far, this is the HOTTEST, SEXIEST frost finished red lipstick I have ever tried on. It's a brick red with gold. I love how it suits my golden complexion.
There's nothing quite hotter than this. If you love frost finished red lipstick, this is your go-to lipstick. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a cooler skin tone and if you don't like frost finished lipsticks. This suits those warmer skin tones and love to play your lips up loud. Not for the shy, but for the bold! Very SEXXXY!

I love this very unique color. I would describe the color being a warm brick, a bit of brown red with golden flecks in it. So many times you can find dupes for department store lipsticks, but not this one. Such a beautiful, unique color Fresh Moroccan is, I will buy it till discontinued, which hopefully is like NEVER.

Fresh Moroccan looks AMAZING on my NC25 skin. It brings out the warm tones in my skin and the orange flecks in my brown eyes. It gets 4 stars and not 5 because, like most MAC frosts, it is kind of drying on the lips after a while if worn alone. I noticed some other reviewers called it a "red" lipstick but it really leans more towards a red-orange with copper/gold reflection. Gorgeous for fall and winter!

My favorite red from MAC. This works great on pale, warm-toned gals like myself who don't want to advertise to the world that they are rocking a red lip :) Kinda wish it was a lustre instead of a frost, as the finish is drying. I love this with Get Rich Quick lipglass on top.

I love this color! On me, an NC45, it looks awesome. It's a red that looks good with my skintone, which is hard to come by. It looks exactly like the description says - red with a bit of gold. Beautimous.

It's a nice orangy deep red with golden shimmer. It fits smokey or neutral eyes. That lipstick goes on really smooth and opaque. It's similar to MACs ruby Darling lipstick, but a bit more vibrant.

I've been looking at this for a long time, and finally bought it. It's a frost that lasts a long time. The shade has some sparkle, but not over the top. It's really pretty... a rich brick with golden shimmer. Although I see pink and mauve in a brown brick tone. Not a common shade in other brands.

I've been dying to try this shade for the longest time now, but for some reason MAC counters here in Malaysia have stopped bringing it in. So finally swapped for it, and I must say that the long wait has been totally worth it. I'm always on the lookout for red lipsticks to try, and while Fresh Moroccan definitely has warm undertones, it wasn't too orange on me, which was one of my fears. It's a beautiful, inviting and very wearable bright (but not fire engine) red that makes me feel very good about having it on. I don't need to be too careful with the application and it wears down to a very pretty stain. The glitters don't worry me too much, and the only reason it loses a lippie is because admittedly it's one of the most drying lipsticks I own, even with a balm underneath, but I'm willing to overlook it for the shade. It's like a redder, warm-toned version of my favourite MAC lipstick, Viva Glam IV. For the curious, I would absolutely urge you to try it. It'll make you feel glamorous, if nothing else. :)

I have bought this lipstick three times and it is my go to shade for a versatile red. Pairs well with casual and more formal attires. Matches well with many different eye looks too, from the neutral to smokey eye.

This looked nice in the store when I applied it to my hand, but once I got home I discovered that this color is actually too dark for my skin tone. Much too bright for me. But it looks very pretty in the tube. If you have jet black hair this will work for you.

I enjoy this color in the fall as it's dark brick red tone goes with a lot of my fall outfits. The golden tone of the subtle sparke of this product makes it special and is great on my nc 30 complexion. I do think it makes my teeth look a little dingy, but the plus is that it doesn't turn pink during the day as it wears off. (For a bluer red that still doesn't look clownish, try dubonnet) The overall staying power of fresh moroccan is good, but it is drying and just a bit gritty from the shimmer. That is fixable with a lip conditioner. I also think this lippie looks best with a bit of gloss on top, but that does reduce the staying power. I don't use this often so I can't imagine repurchasing.

I tried this on at the suggestion of the MAC salesperson (I have red hair and warm skin). I wore it inside and outside for about half an hour before deciding, "Meeehhh..." The reddish-bronze just kind of blends in with my hair and makes my teeth look yellow. I should say that coppery-bronze lippies are not my favorite look. I would like this if it was more definitely red.

Absolutely LOVE this lippie - my favorite!!! I love how I can gently apply on the lower lip and put gloss over it for a daytime look. And then I can apply this a little heavier for night. Either way, it helps me create a pouty red that's not too over-the-top. It's one of the few reds that I can pull off...and IMO, it's a red that is pretty universal. And contrary to what others have said about the glitter, I personally love it. :) Praying they don't discontinue this color!!!
