This cleanser smells wonderful and feels great.. My skin is smooth and fresh looking after using. Only catch is that if you where heavy make-up, such as full coverage foundation, this product will not fully cleanse skin if you use cotton pads to wipe off. More for light make-up days so can be pricey depending on how you use it.

This cleanser isn't sufficient for my skin (combination/oily), so my rating is for people with normal/dry skin.
PROS:
- Smells absolutely GORGEOUS
- Removes makeup as well
- Gentle
- Leaves skin feeling refreshed and skin
CONS:
- Expensive
- Isn't sufficient/particularly suitable for people with skin like mine (as mentioned above)

This milk smells lovely and is wonderful for removing my eye makeup. It leaves my skin feeling light and dewy. I could see it as problematic for an oily person, but I'm normal/dry. Dior has been my staple thusfar in skincare.

This cleanser is great during the winter or when you feel a dryspell coming on. It smells good, but for me it just makes my makeup smear and doesn't take it off at all. The bottle lasts me a lot longer than the cleansing foam I reviewed. I didn't experience any residue, it makes my face feel great though.

Hi, me:15,combi skin. i really liked this cleanser, its simple and gentle and it removes make-up really well, is hydrating and makes my skin soft and slightly brighter. It gets rid of any dry patches and flaky skin and i feel i don't need moisturiser. Its expensive but it's a big bottle and i only need like 3 small squirts to remove my make-up (i don't wear thick or long lasting foundation though). This cleanser is very good at removing eye make-up too without irritating my eyes and it doesn't irritate my skin either. I love the bottle and it's so simple and mess-free to use. I think it's a great everyday cleanser and since i started using it it's improved my skin condition quite abit so i'll probably buy it again sometime :) xXx

I used 2-3 bottles of both Softening Cleansing Milk and Softening Toner. It is a good cleanser especially if you consider that it also removes eye make up. So, you don't have to buy an eye mu remover. But after cleansing when I put toner on my skin, there is always dirt/make up residue on cotton. This, unfortunately, shows that the cleanser does not do its job well. So, currently I am in search of another (cheaper!) mild cleanser.

I was given a bottle of this cleanser by a friend, so I did not actually buy it and, given that it is Dior it is probably expensive and I would rather invest in something cheaper. However, that said, I have to admit this is a great product. Last night I had on a lot of eye make-up (liquid liner, liner, eye-shadow and mascara) and foundation (I don't usually wear it) and this wonderful, gentle cleanser wiped my eyes and face CLEAN without leaving my skin a greasy mess. I noticed that my eyes did not burn and I felt the milk was moisturizing my skin, so I did not wash it off for the night. I woke up to supple skin today and I did my usual cleansing and moisturizing routine. So, bottom line is, this is a great cleansing milk and if I could afford it I would treat myself to it just to feel pampered.

I'm a lil shocked at the so so reviews. I love this stuff! I have sensitive skin. I mix about 2 squirts with some water, and this leaves my skin clean and very smooth and glowy. I use it at night only, since I just water rinse in the morning. As a note, I'm reviewing the softening cleansing milk for face and eyes... I assume that this is the same product.

I feel like my face is still dirty... like there is some film of oilyness over my face. uck, I'd only use this before using another cleanser.

I love how hydrating this is ... it's not bad, and not amazing ... I doubt I'll repurchase. I hate the pump though, it's hard to get the rest out!

Much too heavily fragranced and fluid for my liking. I prefer creamier cleansing milks instead.

Bought this along with the softening toner. Has a really nice and handy bottle. The smell is a bit irritating because it lasts! Removes dirt and make-up well (the toner coton-pad proves it) but i'll have to agree with the other MUAers: i really have this urge to redo the whole procedure with water this time! Not a nice feeling in a cold winter night!

Too mild as a cleanser for people like me that wear makeup everyday. I use this after my cleansing oil but still feel my skin isn't well cleaned enough. I always prefer a foaming cleanser. Anyway, it's a "cleansing milk" for dry skin, I guess this is it.

I got this as an extra in a swap, and I loved it, but I wouldn't buy it because it's too expensive and Cetaphil works just as well.

I feel like my face was still dirty. I usually use it before washing with a foam cleanser.

Ick. Left a horrible sticky film on my face. I had to re-cleanse with another cleanser to get off what this one left on my skin.

This smelled *fantastic* and the fragrance didn't irritate my skin at all. However, I found that it just didn't make my skin feel clean. It left a slight 'flim' over my face and my skin didn't feel as fresh as other cleansers make it feel. I'd say this would be better on those with dry skin who want a totally non-drying cleanser.

This is a really gentle makeup remover for normal to dry skin. I have combination skin, and I really like this one. It removes makeup as effectively as a fluid remover, but is much more hydrating. Still, I prefer to give my face another wash afterwards, just to remove any last traces. :)
