Yes to the question whether I would repurchase, but unfortunately I will not be able to, because this has been discontinued! 41 reviews, over 85% would buy this again, and yet this is gone from the line. I concur with other reviewers that this is one of my favorite eye shadows, color as well as formula are nothing short of perfect. Sad to see Bobbi Brown's Shimmerwashes being reduced to only a handful of shades. Shimmerwashes go on silky, in beautiful shades, the resulting finish is non frosty and they add a wonderful glow without accentuating fine lines. Hence they are the perfect choice for woman of any age. And Fawn was one of the best taupes I have ever seen. I am not aware of anything on the market that compares in both shade and finish. Very sad to see this one gone.

Love the color and use it daily as a subtle accent to my mossy green eyes; it has been discontinued! Buy it up if you find it.

Fawn is in the taupe family. This has a mauveish undertone to it. Which I find enhances my blue eyes. That alone makes fawn a winner for me. Oh, very good quality here. Love it!

Heaven has given us 4 fabulous taupes: BB Fawn, Nars Ashes to Ashes, Chanel Taupe Grise and of course MAC Satin Taupe. But my lovlies there can only be one winner and it is Fawn. That ingenious balance of grey/brown/plum reaches perfection with Fawn. Slightly more brown where Satin Taupe is more grey, less plum to Nars Ashes to Ashes and lighter with a softer shimmer than Chanel Taupe Grise. I love them all but Fawn gets pulled out almost daily. I would bring Chanel Desert Rose duo in as a contestant but it is discontinued. Both Desert Rose (the taupe side) and Fawn project my mediumbluewithbarelyperceptablegreenundertones eyes like a 3D movie. Honestly I have to be careful when I wear it because in a business meeting the power of my eyes is distracting.

Normally I am faithful to MAC shadows only so this is my on BB one. But I have to say; it looks great with my green eyes. I like this shade a lot and it has good staying power. I like the brown/pink/purple combo!

Bobbi Brown Fawn is my all time fave eye-shadow. I have green eyes & the purple undertones work really well with my eyes.
I usually use a Mac paint as a base & add fawn to my lids & crease, bringing a little of my pink blush up into the crease as well.
This has never failed me, it always looks fantastic & i can build this product to a really nice smokey eye.
It lasts forever.

My favorite BB shadow. This color truly looks great with blue eyes. Every time I wear this I am always complimented on how blue my eyes look. I like the shimmer shadows because, for me, they are easier to blend then the matte shadows, but they don't have over the top shimmer which is important as I get older. My HG everyday shadow.

I use Fawn as my everyday eyeshadow. It has subtle shimmer but it’s not too juvenile. (I’m 31 y.o)
I agree with reviewer below who said that this is understated and sophisticated.
Fawn is a beautiful taupe with a lovely texture that goes with everything and doesn’t irritate my eyes. I use it as a lid wash with mahogany on the lash line and a coat of mascara. Perfection.

Fawn is described on the Bobbi Brown website as "medium mauvish brown." At first I didn't see the mauve at all. It appeared to be a shimmery taupe to me. But I began examining it in sunlight, and, yes, it is what might be called "mauvish." This is a beautiful shade, very classy looking. It isn't too light or two dark and blends beautifully with many other shades. I am a collector of Bobbi's shadows, and this one ranks among my favorites.

Although I wasn't wowed by Fawn at first (I own more than a few taupe shadows), it's grown on me and is now one of my favorites. Bobbi Brown shadows are usually good quality and decently pigmented and this is no exception.

The color is a cool-toned taupe with slight (and I mean slight) purple undertones, as others have described. It really brings out the blue in my eyes (I'm NW20 for reference) and is neutral enough to go with a variety of colors. Sometimes I'll wear it on the lid with Bone as a highlighter, but my favorite way to wear it is in the crease with Golden Peach on the lid. It's understated and sophisticated but not invisible.

The quality is good too. I wear this over UDPP or TF Shadow Insurance and it lasts all day. What I really love about it is its blendability--when I first apply it, it can look harsh (I guess I have a habit of overapplying) but when I blend it, it looks soft and neutral.

Love this! It looks like another taupe, but it's worth having, especially for BB fans with blue eyes.

I love this eyeshadow!
It blends well, the colour is beautiful, the packaging is big but there is a lot to last you. I use an ivory base and then put the fawn shimmer wash along with the bobbi brown violet ink or black ink gel liners, def makes brown eyes pop. I use this as an everyday eyeshadow and you can really glam it up at night with a smokey eye.
Only thing I don't like about this eyeshadow is that I use a primer with my eyeshadows and after a couple of hours I feel like that deep purple taupe colour fades and I have to re-apply to get that "shimmer". I think this only happens to me as I applied it on a friend and her colour lasted the whole night of dancing so it may just be me. Would love it if someone could give me a tip on how to get around this because I really do like this e/s
:)
Definitely would repurchase unless I found a new HG :)

I really love this shadow! It's a taupy midtone shade that has a slight mauve/purple tint and a bit of shimmer. Works great as an overall lid wash, and I love to wear the Gel liner in Black Mauve with it on the upper lashes for a quick and easy eye look. I love the way this blends very well, is sheer, and shimmery but slightly so.

Kind of similar to Laura Mercier's Topaz, just a bit less shimmery and cooler.

Beautiful e/s color that looks so gorgeous with my brown eyes! It's a purple shade, but yet has brown in it so it looks natural yet adds a pop of color to my lids. I love that it's a purple shade without being overbearing and too bright like some other purple shadows I have seen. I find myself wearing this one everyday now. Will definitely buy again.

I really like this. It's a medium taupe with just a teeny bit of mauve in it. The shimmer is very subtle. I wear it primarily all over the lid, with a bit of Velvet Plum (from the Velvet Plum metallics collection), or Gunmetal or MAC Deep Truth on the outside corners to smoke it out. It's lovely!

HG. I keep going back to this since I found it through MUA. I have blue eyes with a bit of grey and green, and this makes them stand out as if they're turquoise. I use it on the lid as well as in the crease, actually I just use my finger and swipe it across the lid and let it go at that as I'm too lazy to keep brushes organized, washed, etc.. It looks natural but smokey and pretty. Sometimes I line the lower lashes with Fawn also. I love this shadow. The shimmer is very soft, hardly noticeable. I would think that anybody with blue eyes should own this but then I wouldn't be so unique so hey forget it.

I'm not in love because A: this is almost exactly like MAC Satin Taupe only slightly more red (not good for me) B: it's bulky and the packaging of BB e/s is terrible and C: the texture is a little harder than the MAC. I'm swapping this.

This is one of my favorite colors of eyeshadow and I've bought over and over. It's a beautiful neutral that makes eyes pop. I have hazel gold eyes and everytime I wear this shadow, I get compliments. I've tried many e/s, but always come back to this one. I just wish that Bobbi would use smaller pans and less packaging. This is a lot to carry around. My HG? Very, very close!

This is a wonderful shadow and very versatile - to bring out the mauve tone, I wear a navy liner - To bring out the brown/taupe I wear a brown liner. It's hard to describe this colour - its a mix of taupe, mauve, grey and brown. However, it has been in my makeup bag for a while and I reach for it often - Usually I pair this with Mahogany as a liner!!! Although I find Bobbi Brown on the expensive side, her products are worth it!!!

I've recently fallen in love with Bobbi Brown eyeshadows, and this is one of the reasons why. Fawn is a beautiful warm plummy taupe. The dominant colors are brown and plum, but there is a silvery sheen to it that makes me think of it as a taupe. The shimmer is in no way frosty, but is rather a lovely sheen, brighting up the eye area. Much like all BB eyeshadows, it can give you a look that is professional, sophisticated, and sexy, all at the same time. The texture is lovely, soft, and easy to blend. I would repurchase.

Because i had Stone I didn't think I needed Fawn but the two are very different. Very lovely. I'm cinvinced that BB shadows are superior to MAC, Stila, NARS you name it. The best on the market!
