I got this loose powder as a sample when asking about the CDP pressed powder. The SA said they basically give the same effect. I'm hoping the pressed powder will be the same finish as the loose but in a travel friendly package.
I really like this loose powder - like the slight pink which keeps the powder from looking too yellow or too ashy as the neutral beige powders tend to on me. The coloring is translucent with just that slight pink which just gives a brightness to my face. It also has very subtle sparkle but so subtle that it really doesn't show unless you are specifically looking for it and looking very closely. Usually I hate the sparkle but this one does it right.
The feel of this powder is divine - very finely milled with a so soft finish on the face. Really very soft look and feel and doesn't settle into lines or pores.
My daily at home loose powder is Ben Nye in fair which is do cheap and works nicely. It might be a few years before I run out of the BN. But when I do, this CDP will be my replacement. I just hope the CDP pressed powder I ordered is as good as the loose powder.

This powder is just okay. I believe it is very overpriced. NARS Reflecting loose powder , YSL, and the Ben Nye are comparable in terms of having a nice finish and being finely milled. I would go to any of those brands since they are more affordable. I will nor purchase.

My all time favorite loose powder!
It is completely translucent. I don't understand some of the comments about it leaving a pinkish cast. I wonder if maybe way too much powder is being applied? When I purchased, I did buy the entire product (powder + container) rather than just purchasing the refill, and it might make a difference that the sifter that comes with it is the mesh screen rather than a rigid lid with holes.
This powder never accentuates fine lines and/or dry patches. It gives just the perfect finish! It does not impart color, it allows me to look radiant. I apply with a fluffy synthetic bristle powder brush.
The container is absolutely gorgeous too! It is a sumptuous deep blue (looks black) with a high lacquer shine.
To compare with other powders I have used in the past, Chantecaille is fluffier and more matte, Becca although also very fine milled is not as fine, and is not as transparent. Chanel is heavier and offers significantly more coverage,it also is much more mattifying than CDP..
I stated that I would repurchase, but cannot imagine when I will have to. I've had this for about a year, and I can't tell anything is even used from the container, it still seems full.
I love it so much that I bought a Stratton compact from Vanroe, just so I can carry powder with me for touch ups—and I have a Chanel and Becca pressed powder compact already!

I LOVE this loose powder! Given that I have combo skin, I have always been on the hunt for a good setting powder that mattifies and controls oil. I was really into MAC blot powder after trying several pressed powders as it really controls oil like none other - i gone through two of the blots powders and I was ready to get a third one... but wait, the powder is really drying on days where my combo skin tends to be BOTH oily and dry, and the powder seems to highlight any dry spot that I have on my face... OKAY i should stop before this turns into the blot powder review... so with that said, my face now is LOVING the new cdp loose powder after I decided to splurge on this bad boy...
The powder feels really light on the skin... I have the best result to pat this on my face using a blush brush. I found that using more of this product is better for me personally as I always have super long days. Patting on this powder helps my makeup to set and lasts longer. The pink tinge of this powder will give you sort of a brightening effect if you have yellow undertones as I do.
Price-wise this is outrageous. I am really battling whether I am going to repurchase this given that I already have a few loose powders as well as pressed one to last me for maybe a lifetime.

I love this product. It is soft and airy feeling that blend in my face without looking cakey. I used this power to set my makeup, it has shimmer but very fine and show very nice on my face.

This is an incredibly airy and finely milled powder. It looks slightly pinkish in the tub but is completely transluscent on the face. I had some pretty high expectations using this powder, but I don't think it's fully lived up to my expectations.
The container is glossy blue and looks wonderful displayed on a vanity, but it is impossibly messy to travel with. It has an extra inner screw cap upon which to decant some powder before applying, but I find that to be an extra step that I don't want to spend time on. It is a big container, I think I will be using this product for a long time!
The finish when applied is a light diffused effect and slightly airbrushed. It is very pretty, but I have a very oily t-zone and need it to do some heavy duty setting of my base product. I don't think it did a very god job setting base makeup, but rather just sat on top of the skin. I tried both brushes and the enclosed puff.

Love it! Started using Cle de Peau concealer a year or so ago, then recently got a sample of their fluid foundation, and I was forced (!) to shell out the $$ for that. Curiousity got the better of me and I just got the powder. My face (at 54 years old no less) looks so smooth and radiant! No feeling of powder on my skin, nor that look of powder when I look into the magnifying mirror. I'm afraid I'm hooked, expensive or not!

The only nice things about this loose powder are that it really brightens up make-up and surprisingly keeps the oiliness at bay for at least 4 hours on me. The price is exorbitant (SGD 180.00 for the full product, SGD 127.00 for the re-fill alone and SGD 17.00 for an extra luxurious puff). I'm going Japan soon, hopefully will encounter better prices. The packaging is opulent, but sucks if you want to travel with it. I've tried so hard to decant it into a travel-sized powder case, but I suspect it's the puff that helps to disperse the powder so well. Really wish Cle de Peau makes travel-sized accessories for its best-selling product.

Very finely-milled, excellent quality though one of the more expensive loose powders in the market. Gives good coverage, makes skin look radiant and dewy.

I'm just 15 but since I start modeling, two years ago, I started get interested in beauty products. My problem is that I have very oily skin, which look horrible in everyone, but now imagine a person whose profession is model.
I have to control that very well, because make up, just goes well in a matte and pure skin.
So this is the product I use to make my skin matte but not looking dry, I don't really have imperfections , so I don't know if it goes well in skin with that, but in my oily skin it goes amazing.
And the only products I use doily, are: this powder and ysl touché éclat (under the eyes when needed), and I swear that my skin looks perfect with boot of them.

I LOVE this product! I usually love almost everything from Cle de Peau! I've used this brand (skin care) since I was 8, and it has yet to let me down!
Best loose powder ever! Very translucent, does not appear cakey or pile up or have powder spots on my face that I have to rub off. Gives a very pretty "porcelain doll" finish! Get lots of compliments, expensive but totally worth it! Also it lasts forever!
Packaging is gorgeous as usual, but due to it's size, it is extremely hard to travel with, will have to find a smaller container or another lose powder to use when traveling.

Obscenely expensive, annoying packaging, strong perfumey smell when the container is first opened, BUT , no other powder rivals the way this one makes skin look. Simply remarkable non-powdery powder. It`s the only powder i`ve found that doesn`t just sit on top of the soft fine vellus hairs on the face which is what makes most powders look powdery. You won`t see a powder particle on your skin- even under a magnifying glass!
(Note to frugal people like myself: once you realize that this is simply the best loose powder you`ve ever used or will likely ever find, repurchase the REFILL only. You`ll save $30 and get the same amount of product which can be transferred into any other powder container you already have. It`s $75 versus $105)

the best loose powder I have ever used. So finely milled and gives the skin a flawless beautiful look- did not give a white cast - beautiful over the CLP refining foundation.

I have this in the old version (square box), and I have to option to choose the newer version (round box) I prefer this one mainly because of the square box, although I don't believe neither the pink powder (old) nor the beige powder (new) will deposit any colour on the skin.
I have in the past tried various so called "transparent" loose powder, yet they all made the face whiter/lighter for an hour or so until face oily/moisture kicks in.
However, like everyone said, this finely milled powder, absolutely does not add any colour over the foundation, but gives the fdn a more finished look. I find the fdn tends to oxidize less with this powder on. It takes away the shine but does not make my dry cheeks appeared cracky.

Best loose powder I've tried (and I've tried a lot of these high ends!). Its very finely milled, give you a natural flush, and makes your skin looks flawless. The older version is square case with pink powders (which I absolutely love the packaging) and the newer version that just came out not long ago is in round case with white powders. I love both and its defintitely worth the price, what't the point of buying 3 cheaper loose powders and never use them up because you don't love it?

Overall I rated it a 4 because I don't think this is the best loose powder i have purchased. Although it is a translucent powder, the powder is pink. The powder is very very finely milled (probably the most finely milled powder I have ever used. the other finely milled powder i have used is La Mer). I am not very sure if I will repurchase it again but I am giving this powder a few more tries before I decide if i will. For now, I much prefer skin colored powder than pink/purple powders!

Beautiful. More so than La Mer. Among my powders, with exception of Sisley and with highway-robbery price aside, I like this one the most. Makes me look very fine. I bought refill only as I have so many empty cute powder tubs.
And as with any l/p, I find it's applied best with MAC 187 (yes, the foundation brush).

I bought this powder along with the silky foundation and the make up base (for pores). The powder is very fine with pink sheen. It looks very pretty just by itself. I wear this on top of the foundation to settle it when I go to work but on my off days I just wear this on top of the make up base which gives very nature and sheer finish but looks very pretty.
I was a bit appalled by the price but you really just need a little bit of this to finish the whole face and I think it will take me years to use this up.
I've used lose powder by shu uemura, chanel, dior, anna sui, and shisheido but by far this one out-performs all of them (maybe not shu uemura which is also very fine and has excellent quality) but i like this one the most due to its pretty pink sheen and the finish.
I have quite fair skin that is suddenly becoming dry (used to have oily skin but i guess that's what happens when you get old.. how sad) but this powder doesn't dry out my skin.
