One of my favourite Stila palettes as far as eye shadows go. Three subtly shimmery neutrals ranging from a deep champagne to a chocolate brown. Really flattering and easy to wear and quality is as good as Stila's regular line of shadows.
The convertible color (which I have read somewhere is Amaryllis, the only time they did this shade as a CC) is a tad on the sticky side compared to the regular CCs (although that could be because the palette is a few years old), but isn't one of my favourite CC shades as I find it a bit muddy (I prefer the brighter, clearer shades).
The lip gloss is quite sheer, but works nicely with the whole look.
The packaging itself is lovely. A long, slim metal palette with blue Stila stars graphic on the front and a lip brush and good sized mirror inside. The pans are quite small compared to Stila's regular pans, but there's still more than enough!

I’m completely happy to have swapped for this Stila palette. I kind of despise the formulation of the new palette eyeshadows. Waaay too soft and gooey and they don’t seem to stay put for very long. This long discontinued palette with three unnamed eyeshadows, Convertible Color, and lipgloss is a dream come true for a neutral girl like me. The slightly cool-toned neutral eye shades are a medium champagne color with fine shimmer, a medium taupe-ish brown with fine shimmer, and a dark brown with barely perceptible shimmer. These eyeshadows all quite pigmented and apply very smoothly! Like MAC’s better eyeshadows! And they blend like a dream. With the inclusion of a good base like Urban Decay Primer Potion – your eye make up will not budge for hours and hours on end. I usually include another more shimmery eyeshadow from my collection to really top off the look, such as Prestige’s warm gold Golden Retriever. It rrreally completes the look. The lipgloss in this palette is a pale glossy pink and basically applies pretty darn near clear upon the lips. I usually use it over a more color-intensive lipstick but it’s nothing special. The Convertible Color is a bordering on dark warm pink with a tinge of brown and it’s quite sticky compared to Stila’s current Convertible Colors. I don’t know if this is a result of age but it doesn’t apply as evenly though the staying power is pretty good on the cheeks. Haven’t used it on the lips yet, but it’s good to have for touch-ups, I guess. I also love the slim plastic mirrored case. Why did Stila become so cheap with the cardboard! This also came with a brush, but mine was lost somewhere along the way so I can't comment on the quality of that. Overall I like this palette lots and lots even though I already have a billion similar colors. It's just to convenient and nicely put together and I'm glad to have swapped for it.

Sigh. My first Stila purchase a few years back :). Beautiful easy to work with colors. The only thing I don't get any use out of is the CC but that is mostly because I'm too spastic for cream blush :p. Great purchase and totally worth the pricetag. This little palette is where my whole Stila obsession stemmed from!
*Also* On the underside of the palette, under the label, there are little holes, one for each well, through which you can pop the pans out. I depotted some MAC e/s and they fit perfectly into this palette :) hth.

i recently went away on a short trip and brought this palette along with a few others eyeshadow sets. and during the trip, i realized that this is one of the best and most versatile palettes i have for making gorgeous no-brainer neutral eye looks (the other palettes i brought were totally ignored). i can very easily and quickly make a subtle natural day look or a dark smokey dramatic look with the three eyeshadows. the pale beige shimmer is a great highlighter and all over wash; the medium taupe shimmer is great as a lid or crease color; and the dark black-brown (espresso) is a fantastic liner. the quality of the e/s are great - very silky smooth and pigmented. in contrast to the e/s, the gloss and cc seem to be just ok. the gloss goes on clear and gives a nice basic shine (good lasting power). i haven't used the cc as a blush yet but i did try it as a lipcolor (and didn't like the way it looked). however i don't mind the mediocrity of the gloss and cc since i bought this palette only for the eyeshadows. i can honestly see the e/s colors working well for any eye coloring. this is now one of my favorite palettes and will be the one i reach for when i want a quick easy neutral look.

DESCRIPTION: 3 eyeshadows, 1 lipgloss, 1 convertible color.
Lightest - shimmery neutral/cool gold. Sort of beigy gold with the teeniest smidge of pink in the shimmer, nothing like yellow gold. The shimmer is so pretty in this! This eyeshadow is softer than the other two.
Medium - shimmery taupey/very slightly rosey bronze taupe. Gorgeous shimmer again, I think slightly less shimmery than the gold.
Darkest - shimmery chocolatey brown, same type of shimmer but less shimmery than the taupey brown.
Gloss - pale pinky peach gloss, goes on pretty much clear on my pigmented lips
CC (Amarylis?) looks peachy/orangy/pinky/brown in the pan (haha... sorry for the awful descriptions!) but goes on a very fresh, pretty peachy pink (not light peachy pink, but medium... looks great on me & I'm a LLL). You really only need a tiny bit of this. SA's tip: dab excess on the back of your hand & sort of tap/pat it into cheek.
My only complaint is that the gloss isn't pigmented enough (took off a point because of this). It's a great clear gloss on me, but I would have loved to get the Gingerbread lipglaze instead of that (it works perfectly with the look, too). Oh well, I still adore this very versatile palette.
Overall look: pretty/natural/neutral face. I love the staying power of these shadows, it's just as good, if not *better* (gasp!), than MAC. I love the Convertible Colour, too! I can totally see myself wearing this every day. I'm very happy with my first Stila purchase. Retails for $49 CDN. :D

I’m an absolute fan of Stila’s urban-girly packaging and this one is so sweet with stars all over its lid. This is also one of their metal compact palettes (no to cardboard!) that is so sleek and slim with a mirror, that makes it so handy for on-the-go!
It contains 3 eyeshadows, 1 lipgloss and a CC (which is apparently named Amaryllis). (see my picture here)
The e/s are lovely shimmery neutrals. The lightest shade a very pale, nude gold that is perfect as an all-over wash with a notch of glam. The middle shade is a dirty earth-gold shade and is a bit similar to Golightly (I don’t own Stila e/s on its own so I won’t be able to talk about other similarities) except it doesn’t have any olive undertones. The darkest shade is very very similar to Espresso though, maybe just a teensy weensy bit lighter. Very neutral shades in all but very suitable for creating smokey looks or just night party looks.
The lipgloss is so pretty! A pale peachy-pink shade that gives my lips a hint of healthy colour and shine.
The CC has been much raved for being a lovely strawberry shade which it is and gives me a reddish-pink flush as if I just came in from the cold (hard to imagine here in tropical Singapore though…*lol*). That said, I sometimes found it a tad too bright and red for my MMM skintone. Maybe cos’ I am not used to such shades for blush but I definitely won’t heavy hand on this. It works lovely as a strawberry-red lippie though when you want to play up the lips at night.
Overall, I’m a neutral-shades girl so this palette works just fine for me and one palette gives me an entire night look! Yup! I’ve stayed over at someone’s place and just brought this palette with me and when we decided on the spur of the moment to go night-clubbing, this palette covered me – smokey eyes, a deep flush and subtle nudish pink lips. :)

This is a product I use everyday. The colors are great and a staple for me all except the gloss which doesn't really show up at all on my lips. However, I use it as a clear gloss, and I always need that so bravo!

I really like the colors in this palette. The shadows are great for a nice neutral smoky eye. I love the CC. It's perfect as a blush, but also nice on the lips with the lipgloss over it. The result is a nice, soft pink shade.

The colors in this palette are so wearable and flattering for NC30 complexions. The colors are neither too warm nor too cool...just perfect. The lightest e/s is a light irridescent beige shimmer, the middle e/s shade is similar to Chantecaille's coriander taupe color, the darkest shade is a mix between dark grey and moss-brown and has shimmer to it as well. The convertible color looks great on cheeks and for a pinky-nude lip look. It is a muted tawny rose color. The gloss looks is a creamy pink but winds up fairly clear on my pigmented lips, but looks nice on top of the cc. I received this in a swap from a wonderful MUAer and have been wearing these colors almost everyday. It's so easy to put together a complete face using this palette.

The colors appeared to be right up my alley, but I just couldn't get anything to work for me except for the CC. The eyeshadows looked muddy on me and the lipgloss barely even shows up. I did like the brush in this palette better than the flimsy brushes in previous palettes. Overall, this was not workable for me and I ended up swapping it away.

WOW! All colors are neutral I LOVE that! Not many out there with such natural effects!
The brush they give could use some work, but the quality of the palette is GREAT! I really hope to keep this for a long time.
The colors are brown/nude shades I think they are great for anyone!
