HATE THIS SHAMPOO! Only nice thing I could say about this product is that it smells fantastic. Other then that it made my hair SUPER greasy and it felt dirty not even 24 hours after washing my hair. horrible product.

Good drugstore shampoo and conditioner. Doesn't build up on hair like other brands and does a reasonable job for its price.

This shampoo is garbage!! A lot of people are complaining that their scalp suffered after using this and I will say this stuff definitely made my hair FALL OUT!!! What on earth are they even putting in this stuff? I quit using it and slowly (over months) my hair is growing back. I was using it along with the conditioner. Nope, I will spend the extra $ from now on for my hair stuff.

Loved the smell of this product but, I, and my family all developed (non itchy) scabs on our scalps within a few weeks of using. Switched back to another shampoo and all our scalps cleared up. Keeping clear of this product in future.

I liked it at first. Fresh smell. Cleans well. But after using it for a while it makes my hair like straw. Never again.

I despise this product. I like the scent, but that's it. The shampoo made my hair feel coated and just plain nasty. I felt like I had to wash after I had just shampooed it. It was as if someone had dumped a bucket of grease on my head. After my shower and when my hair was dried there was a huge amount of buildup along with an itchy scalp. It was disgusting. I had a roommate who used it without a problem but it was just not for me.
It was cheap but definitely not worth even that.

I will not buy again. I would rather never wash my hair than to use this again.

I am fond of Garnier products and needed some shampoo when I saw this half price at Boots I thought I'd try it. I was reassured by the "made in Italy" on the back. It smelled nice in the shower and it went downhill from there...I had been using other drugstore brands previously and never had any hair/scalp issues from brands like L'Oreal, Herbal Essences, Superdrug own brand, John Frieda, Charles Worthington, Johnson's Baby shampoo, even Timotei from Poundland (!) and many others. After using Fructis for a few days my hair seemed limp and greasy, my scalp became very itchy. I developed several spots on my scalp that were red, inflamed and even oozed pus when scratched (sorry for that). I developed really bad dandruff...it was awful. As soon as I realised this was probably due to Fructis I stopped using it and went back to baby shampoo. It took many weeks for my scalp to go back to normal. It was horrible having a sore scalp, spots and bad dandruff. I wish I could give this product 0. It was horrible for my scalp. I am now using it to wash my sports bra after running.

Leaves my hair soft and shiny, does not strip the hair or dry it out. Nice fragrance, not too strong or fruity. Does not leave any residue on the hair.

Garnier never worked, especially for natural kinky hair

I only met a few people whom its worked for,(being in a white community) and their hair wasnt all that.

Garnier is particularly cheap and works horribly. THere fruit waxes sucked their silkening creme sucks.
They just need to end it here.

I try not to be to harh on anything unless it deserves it and... this deserves it. Maybe the ingredients have changed since I've used it since some love it,or maybe its only for those with a certain type of hair.

But IMO Herbal Esscenes is better than this.....

I generally do not get mad or angry. I get sad and upset over some things, but very rarely am I irate. Well, this product made me super-angry.
After washing my hair with this shampoo and conditioner (it was 2in1), my hair felt smooth and it smelt fruity. I was happy. A week later, after having used the shampoo 3 more times, I had breakouts all over the cheek area that's closer towards the ear as well as all over my forehead; the areas where my hair touches my skin. I've never broken out on that side of my cheek before. My skin was actually really nice and smooth since I've switched to an all-natural skin care routine.. only to BE RUINED BY THIS PIECE OF POOP.
I'm still in the process of healing. I first started using it 2 weeks ago, and I broke out a week ago. The breakouts were deep and evil.
Bah! Please don't try this. It's really not worth your skin at all.
(I hope this helped someone)

Oh, this shampoo/conditioner was so horrible...I was really excited about it, too. It smelled fresh, and I liked it in my hair...it wasn't so bad...and then a few weeks into using it, I noticed my back was breaking out - HORRIBLY. It was a shock because I'd NEVER had acne there, and no matter what I put on it, it never went away. It wasn't until I stopped using this shampoo did it start to sort of go away. It has taken me MONTHS upon MONTHS to get it all to go away, and even so, it still sometimes breaks out and I don't even touch this shampoo anymore. It's horrible. Don't even think about using it unless you want a zitty back. :/

I would give this a 0 if I could, even though I shouldn't feel too guilty about getting it because it was on sale. This shampoo made my hair oilier more quickly in the day but my was DRY within the first couple of hours. Is it just me, or does this shampoo REEK of alcohol? Now if there was a drink that smelled like this, it would probably be perfect :)

This was an OK product at best. I bought huge bottles of this shampoo and conditioner at costco. It smells alright, but it made my already puffy and frizzy hair swell up to twice it's size and made it all tangled and dry. I switched to Pantene recently (love it! best products EVER!) and for now I'm using the Garnier shampoo and conditioner on my horses' mane and tails LOL

After 2 months of daily use (I liked the smell), I realized that it had slowly been fading my dark brown color. My DYE FREE, NATURAL color! I'd been having lots of knots and tangles also, which I had attributed to how long my hair had been getting. However, less than a week after discontinuing use, the knots are gone. This is a terrible product!

Does it's job, cleans my hair but my hair felt so 'damaged like' afterwards. Using this combined with the conditioner, didn't notice much of a difference in my hair. Seemed as if my hair became more greasier after washing it than before. Made my hair smell great, but that's about it. Disapointing product. :(

if you have really thick hair that gets frizzy without product..
this is a great shampoo.
i notice with this and the leave in conditioner.. i dont have to apply gel or spray or anything..
just keeps my curls smooth and frizz-free

when i switched to a different brand.. all those great properties disappeared..
so i know its the shampoo

Worst shampoo I`ve ever used. Stank, and made my hair sticky and brittle after I`d rinsed it out thoroughly: literally glued it to my head as if I`d covered it in gel. I was in a rush so I put it in a ponytail and when I took it out, the pony stayed in the same place. Not joking. And the ends were crispy: they made sounds when I touched them.

Ugh. If you want crispy, sticky, smelly hair that doesn`t move, this is the shampoo for you. If not, stay WELL away from it.

Terrible shampoo (the conditioner as well), my hair was like brittle straw after using both and in the trash both of them went. My hair is fine and dry and I bought the fortifying to get some strength back into my hair. A total waste of money. VO5 from the Dollar store gave me softer hair. Yuck!
