This review is for the Chantecaille "Cheek Cream" Blush in Shy (not the powder Cheek Shade blush). This expensive cream blush did not show up on my mature, dry skin as it quickly disappeared into my foundation after two applications in an attempt to build color. Chante is supposedly an upscale line so I guess is this product might work for those with younger, flawless skin or those who want a very subtle luminous dewy look. I was also disappointed in the cheap packaging, something I would overlook if the product was excellent.

MUA, please add the Cheek Cream product to the Chantecaille list.

Note: Beautipedia does NOT recommend any of the Chantecaille skin care line. So beware, sometimes you do not get what you pay for!

Joy is a neutral, medium pink that gives my skin the perfect glow. It is shimmer free and has no scent. This color would look beautiful on a variety of skintones. Love the clear packaging. I hope Chante never discontinues this one.

I love Chantecaille blushes. The powder is so fine milled that they go on very smoothly with no visible lines, just very natural looking. They make me look like I've glowing. I know they're more expensive but, in this case, I think you get what you pay for. The difference between Chantecaille blushes and those from other ranges in subtle but, for me, significant because subtlety is what my I like my makeup to be all about. I have these in 4 colours, all of which suit my fair mid-toned complexion: Laughter ( a peachy pink), Thrill (a browny rose), Mood (mauve pink) and Ecstasy (raspberry red - this one needs s light touch to apply it). Obviously the colour will come up different on everyone, depending on your skin tone and underlying cheek colour. I also find that they are quite complex colour that appear different depending on what other makeup I'm wearing. I also have a couple of NARS blushes I love, but I won't buy any other brand again.

Ladies: I just want to write and say how exceptional Chantecaille is both in product and customer service. While I used to wear color from other lines, over the past two years I have been converted to Chantecaille because of their color and now I am a huge beleiver in their personal customer service. I had an issue with their NEW website and they went above and BEYOND to make it right. If you LOVE chantecaille, their website is a must see www.chantecaille.com and 877-673-7080. If you are not familiar with Chantecaille, go to your local store and look at the eye and cheek shades AND their tinted moisturizer (Just Skin) it may be a bit more expensive but a little goes a long way and I find the colors are more classy and last a lot longer than others....I even wear them without primers. I have tried Armani, Mercier, Chanel, etc. I am a high end cosmetics person and they are well worth it!!

I have tried about 4 different shades of Chantecaille blush. They are sheer, can easily be applied a few times to increase color, can be mixed to get a unique shade, and appear very natural.I am fair, so many blushes look fake on me, especially bronzers, but this brand looks like what I wished I looked like without makeup.

I dont really like these powder blushes. They are super pretty in the pans but the color payoff is lacking. NOt as pigmented as MAC or Stila or Smashbox. An individual blush retails for $26 and comes in a silver compact with white translucent cover. Supposed to mde with micro-particles to create the most subtly convincing blush. These go on matte and Enriched with anti-aging vitamins A, C, and E.
I find the pigment to be lacking and wouldnt repurchase.

I like this but I just like Wind more! All Chantecaille blushes are beautiful though! Never irritates my rosacea!

I received Joy in a swap. While it's a beautiful silky subtle color I don't think it is worth the price or the quest to get it if (like for me) a Neiman Marcus isn't around the corner. I'll stick with what I can find in Sephora like Nars or Lorac for good quality blush at a fairly reasonable price.

LOVE these blushes. I like the texture and look of these blushes even more than NARS blushes, which is a horrid thought from a NARS obsessed gal like me. These are super silky soft and go on sooo nicely and softly that you can't even tell you're wearing blush. Looks *completely* natural on the cheeks. These seem to blend in with your cheeks. Also, no breakout problems (yet). And the colors would work for a wide range of skintones since they're not really pigmented. The only two rants I have: the color selection isn't really amazing and for the price you're paying, you would expect more elegant looking packaging. But oh well. I'll have to go buy more soon!

I agree with all the raves here. Chantecaille's blushes are gorgeous colors and great consistency. I have sensitive skin and these don't break me out -- like many blushes do. I love Whisper, which is a very soft muted pink as well as Wind, which is a soft peach (usually don't like peach but this has no orange, it looks natural). All of the other shades look great as well. The colors are natural and wearable. Personally, I like the packaging as it is portable and easy to use. I can't wait to try more colors.

I love it. while the packaging is termed cheap by some, it is flat and portable. I love it as it goes nicely into my edited gym bag.
I have MOOD and it is a nice neutral pink that is very flattering for my PPP, LLL (NC25, BB Sand) skin tone. It is a very fine texture and goes on light but lasts and lasts.
I am very impressed. This is the blush to get if you want to look like you are not trying too hard. I rank the colour as great as Benefit's Dandelion.

I have tried all shades but none of them shown up on me. I have heard Chantecaille is designed for American ladies, maybe that's why the shades are not good for Asian. However, I have fair skin, pink undertone. I could not (so did my friend and the SA) figure out why those blushes did nothing on me. What's the point if it has nice package or its texture is fine?
Update: I have found the right shades and it looks great on me. But still, limited choice for asian / FFF / LLL with neutral undertone.

I was never a powder blush user until I tried the Chantecaille powder blush. The last all day and the colors are very buildable. I keep mine in my palette.

My only complaint is that for cool toned people there is not a lot of color choice.

I have Whisper and Mood but other than that, there isn't anything suitable for fair cool toned skins.

Chantecaille blushes are *outstanding*, no question about it. I'm not a big fan of the packaging though.. I don't like the transluscent plastic cover, it just makes it look cheap. So I dug all the pans out and put them in an empty palette instead. The quality of the blushes is superb - very finely milled and a little goes a long way. It goes on like silk and I like how pigmented the colors are. I have Joy and Thrill and cant' wait to get the rest!

I have Mood...a very pretty pink that works well with my skin tone - I have fair (Asian) skin, dark hair/eyes - and usually pink blushes look bad on me, but this one is very complementary. Color goes on smoothly and wears to the end of the day. Very pretty little compact (silver with translucent plastic cover). I'll buy again...in fact, I'm looking forward to trying other shades in this line...

I have this in Whisper (muted pink peach). Fab quality, but the size is too tiny for the price :(
I love the colour though, it's the most natural I've found.

Very high quality blush. I bought Whisper, a pale dusty pink. Very wearable color for those of you who find many blushes too dark. This is definitely comparable to Nars (actually I like the texture better than Nars) and Armani quality wise. Wears well, blends very well. I really like this color - it looks sort of natural, wind blown. I believe this was 21 or 22 dollars. Update: Here are my descriptions of some other colors. Wind is a medium rich peach. Heat is a darker warm peachy ruddy color. Emotion is a light to medium true pink. Mood is a light to medium soft rose, possibly coolish toned. Joy is a bright pink, but more natural (like Stila Snowbloom) than bright on the skin. Other colors include Silk and Thrill.
