I love this blue eyeliner it has a gorgeous colour and it suits my dark brown eyes well.The pencil lasts for quite sometime on my waterline but I do experience some smudging.It applies well without any tugging and is quite pigmented.Will buy it again if it runs out which will take a while.

I really love this eyeliner for a subtle POP of color to my neutral eye looks. The color is just beautiful. It's not really a navy, it's more of a royal blue. But it has a warmth to it which makes it look so beautiful with green eyes. It's not a green-y blue by any means, but it just has something special that makes this my HG blue. (:

While I would buy this again, it doesn't seem likely to run out any time soon. The only "complaint" I could make about this eyeliner is that it is incredibly difficult to remove. But since staying put is a desired quality in eye makeup, that's not really a complaint. Because I have very deep-set eyes, most of my attempts to create a smokey eye ended in some effect that suggested there was a raccoon in my family tree. After a great deal of experimentation, I've found that this over MAC Silver Ring makes a really nice smokey look. Of course, now that it works for me, it will go out of fashion, right?

THIS is my HG eyeliner! No doubt! I have hazel green eyes, fair complexion that lightly tans in the summer, and medium-dark brown hair. This eyeliner makes my entire face just pop with a glow! I know, sounds weird, but I can't explain it any other way. :) My eyes sparkle with this eyeliner, and the gorgeous blue color of this kohl, complements the green and gold specs of hazel eyes *very* well. I love how smooth and easily this glides across my lower waterline, and it barely smudges by the end of the day (and I touch my eyes a lot and put drops in them often). I hope that they will never discontinue this color - I would be devastated!

I love this eyeliner. Before I begin the review, let me say that I took one lippie off because of the smudge factor. The color, consistency, and packaging are all wonderful. Except when I try to put the cap on the end of the eyeliner while I put it on, it doesnt fit. Oh well. The color is a beautiful, bright, royal navy blue with the tiniest hint of a metallic. It glides on like a dream and sharpens wonderfully. This is a great eyelining color for all complexions, all eye colors, all ages, if you put it on right. It is so smooth and creamy and its practically idiot proof! I line my entire eye (top and bottom) in this and add a heavy coating of mascara and my eyes look great. It does however get into my eyelid crease and doesnt last long, but thats big in part due to my oily eyelids. I am an olive complexion with yellow golden undertones. I am also very very oily! Another great trick is if you are using blue mascara, line the underside of your upper lashes for an great look! LOVE THIS!!

This is my total new favorite eyeliner. Where have you been all my life, Hyacinth? It is a stunning, vibrant blue. It manages to be a shocking, metallic, medium blue, without making you look like a Boy George wannabe. It makes my hazel eyes brilliantly sparkle. I wear this with Waveline fluid line on my upper lid. They work well together. As for the kohls themselves, there is just no other eyeliner that can touch them. They are soft, pliable, and so easy to work with. As these are kohls, they don't have the most notable staying power. All things considered, they last pretty long. I like how they fade off my eyes as well. They get sexier as the night wears on. I posted pictures in my profile of me wearing it.

This eyeliner is amazing, I was lucky enough to receive this as a swap extra from one of the best MUAers ever! Its a beautiful shade of blue and glides on easily. I hate eyeliners that look like they are a beautiful colour and then when you apply them they barely show, this one shows up great on me! I was never a big eyeliner fan but this one has sparked off a new interest for me, I am looking forward to trying some of the other kohls MAC has.

I really wanted to love this liner. I love the colour but it smears and smudges BADLY and the quality is just poo compared to Lancôme which in my opinion makes the best kohls out there. I love MAC but I don't like their eyeliners nor their mascaras. Altough I've heard the Powerpoints are better... so I might check them out.

I hate to be the dissenter, but this color just didn't work for me. For reference, I'm an Asian MMM with slightly oily eyelids. The color's well described by the ladies below, but it didn't show up well on my eyelids nor did it stay put. For $17(the equivalent of the price here in Taiwan) I expect something better.

Wow, this color is so beautiful when I paired it w/ a "tropical" e/s combo (Goldmine, Sushi Flower, Tres Teal, & Swimming), the blue made my eyes stand out & gave great definition without looking tacky!

Total YUM on this one! Hyacinth is a gorgeous medium royal blue that just looks killer on my brown eyes. I love using it at the inner corners with MAC Blooz at the outer two thirds. Every brown eyed girl needs this beauty in her arsenal! RAVE from me!!

I am a fan of all the Eye Kohls. They may not be long-wearing and smudge like crazy, but the smooth texture of the pencil decides it for me. Hyacinth is a "morning-glorious blue". Kind of a slightly less teal version of a peacock feather. Looks v. nice on the inner rim. Really makes my brown eyes look velvety. Has a tendency to smudge so this isn't for everybody. Check out the Powerpoints. Both highly recommended.

Hyacinth is a very pretty medium blue shade. I don't get as much use out of it as I thought I would, because I tend to pick up some of my other blue kohls and pigments for lining purposes. I will enjoy using what I have, but won't repurchase.

A gorgeous teal blue liner with some shimmer. Hyacinth makes my blue/green eyes really POP. Looks especially pretty paired with blue and purple shadows. I also like this with a neutral eye to give some spark.

Hyacinth is a greyish navy shade that has no shimmer. It is a matte formula, but fairy creamy in consistency. I prefer this over blooz. I like the consistency better.

I love MAC Kohls for their quality & color selection, but Hyacinth is by far my favorite one. It really makes my green peepers stand out :)I can pair this teal-ish royal blue w/ a neutral or pastel wash of e/s & it looks pretty & soft. It also works for more dramatic/smoky looks & can be smudge all around the eye. I esp. love to use this kohl to line w/ Early Morning e/s on the lid - gorgeous!

A beautiful intense peacock blue, as the others have said. This has a touch of shimmer, and is really vibrant and sultry. I never thought I'd ever wear blue eyeliner, but this is gorgeous!

My faaaaaaaaaavorite liner evah!! This is such a pretty shimmering blue, the shade being somewhere between royal and navy...about what you would think a Peacock blue color would be. Awesome liner which applies smoothly, this one really makes my eyes come alive. Don't even think twice, just get this one!!
