I love these shimmery, silver and gold tones. I wear this every day, especially the greyish, silvery lavender. It's a very difficult shade to describe. If Revlon discontinues this I quite simply will start a riot.

I love the wet/dry formulas, they're so versatile. Use them dry and they're ideal for a day look, use them with a moistened make-up brush and the colours pop! Just wonderful for a night out. Sandstorm is one of the nicest, with shimmery nudes. Perfect for my olive complexion. Love it!

Very shimmery neutral colours, good staying power and easily blended. A bit too much shimmer for daytime for my liking, but looks very pretty for a night out. I would buy this again.

As others have noted, these eyeshadows are great buys at the drugstore. This quad is a collection of pretty neutrals, which are various shades of cool-toned beige with the barest hits of pinky/gold, brown, purple, and olive. The pigment isn't quite as intense as I like, but the colors do show up nicely. I took off one lippie because I had hoped these would be matte shadows so I could wear them easily during the day -- unfortunately, they are quite shimmery (which would be pretty for after-work wear). So, I'm off to the MAC store with this quad to find matte and satin versions of the colors in it!

I love this quad!! This is the only d/s shadows that I have bought over and over. This gives a polished professional look on my NC20 skin. You wont be disappointed.

The lighting I purchased this under was too fluorescent and made it look more like a shimmery version of the Coffee Bean quad - I was sadly surprised/disappointed when I brought it home to find four exceptionally frosty shades. It may work for some, but that's just not my style. The packaging was great and I got it on sale, so no major complaints, but will not repurchase.

I found this quad at Big Lots for about $1.75.I was concerned that the colors wouldn't work for me but they are wonderful. There are two pans of champagne/fawn shimmer and 2 of deep grey/taupe and deep steel/plum.These work great with my hazel eyes and cool PPP skin. The texture is almost creamy and the pigment if very strong too.

Supko (below) described the colors in this quad perfectly. I'm an LLL (NC20 brown hair, green eyes) and this also suits me perfectly. The shadows are silky smooth & wear well with a base (I hardly ever go without a base, so I can't comment on how they wear without a base). I have something like 10 of these quads & they continue to amaze me. Great quality =o)

When I saw this Revlon quad on sale for three bucks I just had to pick it up. I'd been lemming the MAC Jet
Black palette and the colors in Revlon Sandstorm were pretty similar and much, much cheaper. For drugstore shadows the quality is superb. To boot this quad is very complementary with my coloring (Hazel eyes PPP skin). I don't find this quad too shimmery for everyday wear and pigmentwise it shows up on my lids the same color as it does in the pan. This is definitely a new staple for me.

I LOVEEEEEEE THIS QUAD!!! It really complements my dark grey-greenish eyes as well as my dark olive complexion. I was expecting it to get better reviews but then I realised it was maybe because the shades in this quad suits darker skintones. The two lighter shades (shimmery beiges) in this quad gives me a washed out look if applied by themselves. However when paired with the greyish taupe shades, it really enhances my grey eyes. I usually apply BB black gel eyeliner with this quad and I get lots of compliments. A definite buy for darker skinned women with light eyes. And the price is cheap compared to the higher end eye-shadows.

I am very PPP, cool toned, and these work well on me. Unlike others, I don't think these are too shimmery, and I could definitely tell the difference in each of the colors. The colors are an assortment of champagne and gray-plum-taupey colors. The shadow is smooth (very nice texture) and highly pigmented. For the price, it can't be beat. I will buy this again.

The colors seemed to blend together too much in this quad. I couldn't really tell the difference in the 2 dark colors or light colors. I didn't really like the colors either. I only liked the purple shimmery shade. I also liked the sponge applicator it came with. The texture of the eyeshadows are great.

Again, another quad from Revlon that is a staple for me! I prefer this for more dressy things or when I go out, since it is extremely shimmery, a little much for everyday wear. But the colors are beautiful and the quality is excellent!

Not very impressive. This is my first Revlon wet/dry e/s and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The color, sandstorm, is a shimmery taupe with a silver undertone (at least on my skin), nice for an everyday color. I had some problems with creasing(which never happens to my other e/s) and it only lasted about 3-4 hours before it started fading. I am going to try it with a base, hopefully to give it some staying power but I don't think I will be trying Revlon wet/dry shadows again.

Sandstorm looks like nothing in the case and looks fabulous on my eyes. As others have said, the perfect pale neutral shimmery eye. Love the silky texture. I have several Revlon e/s quads and highly recommend!

I was attracted to this a coupla times, but passed it over b/c it was Revlon -- and from past experience I was convinced their e/s would not show up on my GGG skin.

I am SOOOO glad I tried this -- the colors are great and feed my current addiction to taupes and grays. My description of the colors: champagne beige (see also Jane Sungloss)

silvered ginger ale (the warmest of the four)

mid-tone plum-taupe-gray
mid-tone olive-taupe-gray. All the colors are very shimmery, esp. the beige and olive-gray.

The sponge-tip applicator has a wide point-tip as well as a skinny narrow point tip. The hetch marks and packaging aren't much to look at, but don't be fooled -- the e/s is smooth and pigmented.

Minus a lipstick b/c I need to apply the colors with my finger or over a dark base to get them to show up correctly. Otherwise, all I get is silver shimmer. The olive-gray shade is super-purty, so I'm still stoked. Hee.

I have gotten totally hooked on Revlon's Wet/Dry shadow quads -- I don't know why I didn't try these sooner! They're silky smooth, highly pigmented, and the colors apply true to what you see in the pan, even more intensely when used wet.

I initially didn't like Sandstorm when I purchased it -- the colors tend to be a bit more "cool" than I can pull off -- but I've learned to work with these colors and I love them now! As I can't wear all the shades together because they are too cool in tone for me, I generally use this particular quad wet to line, using one pan shade coordinated with other shadows I have (to keep things more on the warm side), and they give my eyes a great "icy" smoked look, when paired with some black e/l. Love it.

The Sandstorm quad contains 4 pans of shimmery, silvered shades of taupe, shell, golden beige (the warmest shade in the quad, but again, with a silver sheen), and a taupe/olive.

Great product! Beautiful shades, the shadows are highly pigmented, silky, and--this is my favorite part--shimmery! Not out of control disco frost, mind you, but this quad has a great amount of sheen. Comparable to Stila, IMHO.
