I have dry lips all the time and this makes it even worse. It wears off super fast and leaves my lips feeling tight. So no, won't buy again.

I ordered this online, it arrived just in time , i ran out of my nivea kiss of moisture. Nivea and Labello are from the same company . This goes on very light and sheer and it sinks in to your lips fast. This has sunscreen in it , but doesn't taste like it . It kept my lips hydrated for a while too, i may purchase when i run out , or maybe i'll try niveas version.

Got this based on MUA reviews and found it very cheaply on ebay.
Thus - it's OK by me - kinda reminds me of the Mustela balm but a bit lighter. I still find this to be too slick (not as greasy as some) to use under lipsticks - but great on its own to condition lips.

Nice. Good value.

In addition to the Original variety, HydroCare is probably my other favorite Labello. It is *so* hydrating and emollient; my lips feel instantly soothed and even look fuller because it moisturizes so thoroughly, the little lip lines appear to fill in. It lasts, too. Labello is my HG, and such a great value -- I highly recommend it!

I like this better than the original formula because it doesn't feel as greasy on my lips and therefore doesn't make my lipstick slip. This provides a perfect base for lipsticks. I like the fact that it's not as greasy also because I don't like the feeling of having too many thick layers on my lips. This feels nice and light. It does what it's supposed to and instantly makes chapped lips feel smoother and more hydrated.

I've been using Labello since childhood, nothing works as great.
One application and I'm good all day in dry humid city summer weather or skiing on the freezing slopes.
I found other balms either too greasy or they easily come off, but this one doesn't even budge with licking!

I was definitely attracted by the word "Hydrocare". It feels light and moisturizing but as previous posters have mentioned, it doesn't seem to last for that long. I have to reapply it a bit more than other lipbalm.

I was craving a moisturizing, light balm for the summer and I decided to try this one; it was pretty much the only Labello formulation I hadn't tried yet. Now it's one of my favorite along with the Q10 one.
This is actually a much lighter version of the original clear Labello in the dark blue tube. The scent is exactly the same, light, slightly citrusy vanilla that I've adored since I was a little kid and my parents would give me the original one when my lips cracked. On the contrary to the original one, which is thick and waxy and feels like it somehow coats the lips, this one feels very light and sheer. It gives lips a soft, natural glow; it's ideal for low maintainance looks and I feel fresher and prettier with this on even if there's not a trace of makeup on my face.
Now, does it moisturize? It does, but don't expect miracles. I mean, it does condition lips and make them soft and smooth. It's also effective slathered on before sleep as a night treatment. It's even great applied thinly under lipstick or lipgloss. However for very badly chapped lips I'd choose something thicker. This is great for everyday protection nonetheless.
Furthermore it's very cheap (less than €2 if I remember correctly), and available pretty much anywhere.
All in all a nice, simple, classic product. The kind of product you'd come back to after you've tried thousands of fancy balms with complex flavors.

LOVE THE FEELING when i put that on.
It goes on smooth on my lips.
It does finish quite fast but it's worth it!
I am on my 3rd.
Only hic is that it doesn't stay long enough [ for me ] and i have to constantly re apply it.

EDIT:
Rating going from 4 to 2.
It leaves white residue on my lips.
It isn't moisturizing at all, even when i just applied it, 2 minutes later i have to reapply, and i think it actually made my lips WATERPROOF, and anything proof, even to this lip balm itself.
This product is a waste.
The new Milk and Honey one is MY LIFE SAVIOUR <3

Best lip balm I've tried so far. I'm not a regular user of lip balms because my lips are in quite good condition, I use it 2-3 times a week when it's really cold and maybe once a week when it's not that cold. This one is really light, but effective. I didn't knew how much I love it until I've bought Alverde callendula lip balm (which is very thick and instead of making my lips happy, it leaves them wanting more...) But - Beiersdorf conducts animal testing so I won't buy it again

the best lip balm i ever used was one i bought when i was holidaying in japan many years ago called water-in-lip, it was more water than oil and felt soo light and fresh on lips. i could feel water locked on my lips . lips were so healthy and soft.
i couldn't find a similar lip balm anywhere else until i came to this hydrocare lipbalm, it is a very similar type of lipbalm that is more water than oil but is still more oily than the japanese one. however is less oily than all other lipbalms, it does the job well and i'm sticking with it.

This goes on really nicely. Almost like one of the Blistex formula's, whos name escapes me. My husband constantly hijacks it becasue he like's the fact that it doesn't feel glossy. Overall thought I have to keep reapplying, so the staying power isn't amazing.

I have used this lip balm for a bit over a year now, and here is what I've concluded:
[ PROS ] - smooth consistency, applies easily, no taste, no fragrances, has decent staying power (if not rubbed off by liquids/foods/glassware - unlike certain lip sticks), tube works well (no issues with breakage), does not irritate lips, cheap
[ CONS ] - (for me) it causes flaking from time to time, creates a little shine post application
Though it does cause flaking (on the rare occasion), I think the pros far outweigh the cons! I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin and wants an affordable, yet well-working lip balm!

I have big lips and I've always battled against them getting chapped, ever since I was a little kid. My lips get dry so easily, and if I'm not diligent about taking care of them they will crack and split. I have tried so many different balms and glosses, and nothing has ever been as good to me as Labello HydroCare.

It evenly coats my lips without feeling oily or sliding off, has the perfect satin consistency, and has a pleasant subtly sweet scent (I easily get sick of strongly scented balms and glosses). Nothing keeps my lips better moisturized. I probably have about six tubes and keep them everywhere, in my coat pockets, in my purses... I can't go anywhere without one.

YES! This is the ideal Labello, the best, the softest, the most moisturising, the most subtly scented, the cutest colour tube... I love it. I have moved on a bit to more interesting glosses/lipshines, but if I wanted Labello, this is what I'd buy, no question. Yay for basic fabulousness!

They're a bit on the expensive side compared to other balms out there that work better. The tube is funky. The stick will eventually just get pushed down because the twisting mechanism isn't very sturdy and I don't like the long cap. Will not repurchase because there are better balms out there.

(I'm crossposting this because I find all the Labello balms in a stick to be the same.)

This stuff is dirt cheap...really and for a relatively well known brand! I like how you can control how much you put on. I slather this on at night but use just a sheer coat in the morning under l/l,s,g. It has no smell or taste which is good. Makes your lips feel nice and moisturized when on. I have only used this twice, so I'm writing this review a bit premature, but I will update if anything changes... good or bad ;)

Thumbs up so far!!

UPDATE - I looooove how this feels on my lips!! Especially when they are dry from the cold weather we are having right now!.. .I just slather this one and my lips immediately feel moisturized!! Doesn't have that gross petroleum feel to it.. even when you apply tons!! just a nice MOISTURIZED feeling with some slip!! awesome!! and you really can't beat the price!

I have been using labello since I was a kid. I just recently repurchased this after quite some time, its now called "labello by nivea" hydro care (in Canada at least). This goes on nice and smooth and I really like the packaging. But I find that I apply this repetitively over the hour, the balmy feeling seems to go away after 10 mins or so but it DOES leave your lips moisturized. I just like the feeling of lip balm on my lips :) Goes on clear. I would repurchase, its only $1.60.

*PIC*(i just saw on the boards this is called labello, but in Greece it's called liposan) I really love lipbalms and bought a whole lot of expensive ones which i did not like, seeing the majority just left my lips way too shiny, goopy and heavy feeling. So i decided to try out liposan which is extremely popular in Greece, but not considered high end or a luxury product, so i am guilty of having "snobbed" it, until i tried it.
(If you are though a lipbalm snob :) Lancaster's Aquamilk Nourishing Lip Balm is really top notch) This is exactly what i was looking for! It leaves my lips sooooooooo incredibly soft, moist and hydrated BUT matte-in a good way of-course, lipsticks glide over this in a jiffy. I adore this product! Excellent quality and excellent results!
And of-course really cheap and can be found nearly anywhere here. Retails for 2.40 euros- 3.40 US$. (This is manufactured by the German company Beiersdorf- which also manufactures nivea, eucerin and more.) so, if you're ever in Europe, do yourself a favour and pick up one of these lovely little gems.

I also bought these:

(love the cherry kiss!)

and plan on buying these ones too! (and maybe some other ones also :)

Like any other cheap lip product this contains 'bad' ingredients. It will only 'sit' on my lips - doing NOTHING. After I became a skin teraphist I stopped using products like these.. not recommended at all.
