I dyed my hair a few months ago and my salon lady told me to buy this to protect my hair from fading in the sun. I did, and used it every day, and it faded anyway. To be fair, I live in Southern California, so it's sunny all year here as opposed to many other places. It does smell good, and it's great for detangling, but as far as what it is supposed to be for....Save your money ladies!

This is an ok spray on conditioner. Personally I think Ion's Color Defense Leave-In Protector (available at Sally's) is better, and it's a lot cheaper. It does surprise me that Paul Mitchell gets away with saying this is a UV protector. There's no SPF and no active ingredients. The information on the bottle claims that sunflower extract protects from sun damage, but I am highly skeptical as to how much sun protection you get from sunflower extract. Bottom line, as a leave in conditioner this is fine, but I wouldn't count on it to protect my hair from the sun.

I was looking for a product with sunscreen for my hair and I came accross this spray in Fashion magazine. During summertime, my hair is dry as straw and extremely tangled. Moreover, my hair tends to get lighter because of the sun. I thought this product would help so I bought it!
First of all, let me say that it is one of the best detangler over here!! Really does a good job. I spray it over damp hair, then comb my hair and it detangles my hair perfectly. Regarding it color-protect purpose, I'll post an update later!
It has a good, mild smell. The texture is okay, but be carefull not to overdo it since it could weight down your hair. Other than that, this product is pretty good and I would probably purchase it again.

I only bought this because I was in need of something with sunscreen for my hair and I can not really see that this does something at all for my hair. Will definitely NOT repurchase.

This is the only item in the PM color protect line that I would repurchase. It seems to lengthen the life of my color, smells great (like Clinique Happy) and makes my hair feel good too.

Can't believe I've had this for so long & not yet reviewed it. This stuff is wonderful. It has a nice mild fragrance & the product itself is light, so it doesn't weigh my hair down at all. I give it 5 lippies--it doesn't claim to detangle, just to preserve & extend the life of hair-color--and it does a great job with that!

haven't really seen a difference..doubt i'll buy again. doesn't even help detangle and i was hoping it would at least do that. smells nice tho..the same green tea-ish scent that the shampoo has.

I have been using this spray for a few months now. My hair color has not faded or become brassy. Now I can wait to color when my roots grow in and not because the color faded too soon.
