I LOVE this. I read that jojoba should only be bottled in glass otherwise it will leach out chemicals in plastic containers and make the oil inferior. The bonus is that it is organic also.
I am normal-dry skin. With sun damage and redness.
" have tried almost every moisturizer out there. Drugstore, Dept.Store. Health Food Store and this is my HG.
In retrospect I thought a good skin care regimen had to be time consuming, consisting of at least 4 different products. WRONG

This is a make-up remover, antioxident and moisturizer.

At night, I apply this to my warm slightly damp face and allow it to sink in, appox. 15 min.
A couple times a week I use a AHA serum for sun damaged areas.

Day, I apply few drops Jojoba. Let it sink in. Then use Tj's "Enrich" lotion. This routine could not be any more effective and dirt cheap too.

This stuff is AMAZING!! One of 2 moisturizers I can use without getting breakouts! I use it all over my whole face or sometimes just under my eyes. It really keeps my skin nourished and gives it an extra boost!

NOOOOOO!!! This Jojoba oil has been discontinued!! While I was thoroughly freaked out by this, I did discover another great jojoba oil that you can actually buy large quantities of in glass bottles for a lot less $$!! I heard never to buy jojoba oil (or any other oil, for that matter) in plastic because the oil will carry toxins from the plastic. This place even carries straight jooba oil that comes in a creamy consistency with no other added ingredients! Their products are VERY high quality! Try this place if you, too, are having a meltdown over Jason's jojoba oil being discontinued:

This is nice and moisturizing, and it doesn't break me out. I was always afraid to put oil on my skin but I found out the molecules in oil are too large to clog your pores so I use it all the time now.

I purchased this 2 oz. bottle from Vitacost.com a couple of months ago and never got around to trying it until now. I'm glad I did though...this stuff is awesome! I have very oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin, so most of the time dermatologists tell me to forgo any moisturizer all together. Problem is...putting treatments on my skin to get rid of my pimples dries my skin out and makes it look a hot mess! The only qualm I have with this product lies in the packaging: when you unscrew the cap, there is a red stopper plugged into the bottle opening, and it just happens to be annoying prying the stopper out with my fingernails. I tip the little jar over with my palm over the opening a couple of times to get a a couple of drops of oil, then I gently pat and rub my palms together to distribute the oil evenly between my palms and gently pat my face. I also grab an extra dab of oil from the red stopper with the pad of my ring finger and apply a little more around my eyes at night. Forget eye creams...this stuff works better for me. It has evened out my skin tone, especially around my eyes and under my eyes. Doesn't make my face oily, but does give it a nice, healthy sheen. Of course I do have to apply powder during the day since my skin will inevitably get oily, but makeup goes on SO MUCH smoother and never looks cakey. I have not broken out with the use of this oil (thank God), so dermatologists be damned! ;) I've cleared my skin up way better without the help of one.

I am so glad I tried this! My skin has definitly improved, less breakouts, scars fading quicker, skin is more balanced. I mix 4 drops in my Pangea Organics cleanser, 3-4 drops in my moisturizer for thirsty skin by Pangea, and I dab extra jojoba oil on scars at night. I have been doing this for a month or so, hopefully my skin will continue to improve!

I LOVE THIS STUFF. My skin was so broken out with blackheads and small pimples on my cheeks and chin. I also had cystic acne on my neck. I started adding this to me regular routine and it cleared up my skin completely in a week. I have NO more blackheads. I usually woke up with a new pimple every day and I have ZERO blackheads and pimples now. I only use a little and apply it to my skin with my fingers after I wash my face. Just a little bit gives my skin a healthy glow. I just found my new favorite product.

I replaced the cap on my bottle with the little dropper cap you get with a bottle of Tempra (children's medication). It's a little tight, but enough to seal, and the dropper is the perfect length.

And, yes, I agree with all the great things already said about this oil.

Jojoba oil is great!!! I'm on my second bottle of this stuff. I stuck with the Jason brand because I am so paranoid about breaking out. I have to be super, super careful about what I put on my skin. And if you'd told me some time back that I'd be putting straight oil on my face and not breaking out, I would have not have believed it. But this stuff really has improved my skin quality and it has not broken me out at all. LOVE this stuff!!!

Wow. Jojoba oil has done more for my acne-prone skin than hundreds of dollars worth of expensive creams and treatments. Blackheads I've had for years are gone, and my skin looks smoother, feels softer. The key is how you apply the oil. After washing my face, I mix a few drops of the oil with my regular moisturizer and then apply it to still damp skin. I would not recommend overapplying the oil or applying it to dry skin - it will not absorb. Good luck.

To say I was hesitant about trying an oil on my face would be an understatement. I started out slowly, first using Aqua Fina's hydrating facial mist (contains vit A/C Aloe and jojoba). It didn't break me out and my face just looked...better. So, I took the plunge and bought this brand of 100% Jojoba at my local GNC, last night after cleansing I rubbed several drops onto my face and neck...it was hard to guage how many because there is no dropper so this just pours out GRR! I woke up this morning expecting an oil slick. Wow! I was shocked..instead of a greasy mess my face just looked glowy and smooth. I still have flakies from BP and Salicylic Acid but I think a few days of jojoba will fix that! I am still nervous that I'll break out, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I will update in a week or so to let you know how its going. BTW this stuff is awesome for getting off waterproof mascara, which I love, but hate trying to get off without losing eyelashes. I rubbed a bit onto my eyelashes and eyelids, waited a few seconds then wiped with damp cotton ball...clean as a whistle! Then I washed my face with my regular cleanser and used another drop under my eyes and on my eyelashes to moisturize. EDIT: I mostly use this to remove my waterproof mascara and my eyelashes seem more lush which is a good thing! However, I stopped using it on my face, because I got 2 huge zits....I can't say for sure it was this but just the fear of waking up with more bumps makes me hesitant. I do put it around and under my eyes at night as an extra layer of moisture. It doesn't burn or sting my eyes and I've noticed some of the crepiness around my eyes is softening. I also rub a bit onto my lips at night and let it sink in before I apply my AVON lip conditioner--my lips are sooo amazingly soft when I do this. So, in conclusion, even tho I'm afraid to use it on my face anymore...it still a product I will buy again and again, because it has other uses that really appeal to me. EDIT AGAIN: I stopped using jojoba when I discovered Safflower Oil, everything I used jojoba for I can do with safflower and its less expensive and I can buy it in a HUGE bottle for $4. If you like olive oil, safflower has the same benefits without the olive/green smell, its odorless. Jojoba lead me to this point so I'll always have fond memories of it, but I found something better so I won't go back.

I heard so much hype about jojoba oil on the boards during one point that I went to my health foods store and picked this up. I was expecting "liquid gold" as it was often described as. I have combo skin (that is on the dry side) that is sensitive and prone to whiteheads on my super dry cheeks, black heads on nose, no real breakouts but I do get a few pimples/blemishes on my face and I have an oily t zone with a flaky forehead! (that was a mouthful!) Anyways I saw the jojoba reduce flakiness on my forehead but I still continued to have white and black heads and my pimples were not going away. Unlike the other reviewer my acne scars were not healing with this. My skin was not any worse (no irritation) but it wasn't better either. So as a moisturizer it performed okay, but for jojoba being the cure for problematic skin no way!

Jojoba oil is amazing & I highly recommend everyone to try it out!
It's a fantastic moisturiser for combination skin & effectively softens dry areas without leaving an oily residue. HG 5 star product!

I use this on my nails and cuticles. The jojoba molecule is small enough for your nails to absorb, so I mix it with pure vitamin E oil and it keeps my nails from splitting and breaking. There's always enough oil on the little red stopper to take care of one hand.

I like the richer texture of this jojoba oil better than desert essence for my face. I put it into an eye dropper, though, which makes it easy to dispense and carry with me during the day.

HG product for skin and hair!!! Yes, the wild claims are true. It has cleaned out my pores and this oil actually controls oil! I cannot believe it but I have very oily skin and this keeps the oil production down.
I also love this for my hair. I use a few drops in my conditioner and sometimes leave on several drops before bed as a deep conditioner. Smoothes and add shine like nothing else. I am so glad to find this natural beauty treatment.

I think Jojoba is great, I add 2-3 drops to my moisturizer (which I use on my face morning and night). I will probably continue to use this as long as I'm using BP since it prevents my skin from becoming too dry and flaky. Only downside is the packaging, so I emptied out an old visine eye dropper bottle and filled it to use it to dispense the drops. I don't know how else people would be able to use the stuff with a regular screw cap bottle...way too much pours out each time.

I had only heard about jojoba oil on these boards, so decided that I needed to try some. WoW! I have dry skin, dehydrated, reactive skin so have not used it alone, but I've been rubbing a few drops into my skin after I've applied my regular moisturizer and am really impressed. My skin is soft, hydrated, and smooth but without any oily after glow. I was using sweet almond oil and rose hip seed oil over my moisturizers before this but it took a long time for them to be absorbed. This brand has a pleasant fragrance. The only downside I can think of is that it would be nicer in a bottle with a dropper...but that is easily remedied. Definitely HG material!

Hmm, I don't see this product as a God-send. It just didn't do enough in terms of moisturizer. If it works for you, then you're better off to get a "non-name brand at a much cheaper price than this.
