I was introduced to Stila Lip Polishes via makeup411.com when they were listed as the glosses used on my favorite actress from The Girl Next Door. Well I bought Glimmer which was used during the movie but I also bought Garnish because I liked how it brought out my summer tan. Mac recently released a shadestick called after tan. I am one of the lonesome ones who does not care for MAC lippies but I was inspired by the pretty coral color. When I put on Garnish It looked pinky coral, almost red. The color suited me perfectly. The texture was great a true hybrid gloss/lipstick and I love the brush applicator which makes for hygenic application which can easily be performed in the car mirror while driving to work. I took off a lippie because the staying power was not great. However, I could see myself buying more of these, in different colors because I am so makeup fickle. Also, thank you Stila for making these bigger with more product. That almost makes up for the poor lasting power. If I could I would rank it 4.5.

I'm having mixed feelings about stila's lip polish. I really like the lip brush applicator but I don't like to click click click just to get the colour out. To make matters worse, I got to click many times before the colour comes out and sometimes a big glop comes out which is such a waste. 'Garnish' is a pinky colour which looks nude pink when you apply a little and bright pink when you apply more. I usually go for the nude pink look because my fair skin tone can't take a bright pink type of colour. Maybe I'll purchase 'sparkle' the next time.

This is a very pretty YLBB color that adds just the right amount of color and shine. This is a great shade for daytime wear or as a pairing to smokey eyes. Although I adore the color, I don't enjoy the packaging. Stila's click wands always seem to deliver too much or too little product, which is why I deducted a lippie.

Lovely product, lovely colour. I'm NC 30, dark hair & eyes. I actually prefer this to Stila lip glaze, due to that this is fragrance-free and more pigmented. Like a lip glaze with much more pigment, but same amount of shine! Staying power is considered good as it leaves a subtle shine & a stain of colour as the hour goes by. Good for a pop of colour to freshen up a simple look with minimal effort.
Will re-purchase again!

Garnish is the first lip polish that I bought at Stila and in short, I like it. The color is very pinky pink, so it certainly brightens up your look when applied. But I don't think this is an all-time color. It has satisfactory lasting power and unlike other liquified lipsticks that are not that glossy (i.e. Dior's Lip Fluid), this lip polish is prettily shiny. When compared to Stila's lip glazes, while they are rather sticky, lip polishes have very soft texture so the lip brush moves more smoothly on your lips. I gave 5 lippies on its packaging for a perfect lip brush and a pen-shaped design but I took out one lippie because of its price considering the amount of the product. But overall, I think this is worth trying ;-)

Garnish is such a beautiful color, a Barbie pink that's toned down into wearability by a slightly mauveish cast. More pigmented than a lip gloss, but still super-glossy, it's so pretty and feminine. I love the portability and ease of application, not to mention the cool metallic pink packaging. But I don't like the way it gloops onto the brush when you twist the applicator. There seems to be no happy medium between a dry brush and total overload, so I end up wasting quite a bit. But I find the lip polishes more economical than the lip glazes, simply because you need to use less.

This is a wonderful colour, a lovely girly pink which can be made subtle or more intense. Fairly good staying power, really like this!

I got this when I had a Cabana Girls makeover at the Stila counter, along with the Banana Daquiri trio and Lillium Convertible Colour. I love to wear these products together; they give me a nice, polished summer look. Garnish is a lovely warm "lollipop" pink, and looks very pretty on my lips. I like the Lip Polish formula - you get the shine of a gloss with the colour intensity of a lipstick. At first I found the click pen hard to use, but after a few goes I got used to it. The brush makes it easy to apply the product, without using too much of it. The price of these is their one downfall. For the amount of product you get, they are really expensive, and I wouldn't purchase these regularly for that reason. If I was buying a couple of other products from a colour story (as I was with Cabana Girls), and I thought the Lip Polish would complete the look, I might splash out, but in general these are far too expensive for what you get.

I had extremely high hopes for this and I have to say, it exceeded them. The color looks so natural (like Avril Lavigne's lips) but it gives it such a nice boost and it made me feel totally desirable.

Garnish was a sheer bright pink on me. I don't really like doing bright pink lips. Lacquer looked much better on me than this shade. I also don't like the fact that you can't tell how much is left in these lip polishes. I wish the packaging was more like the lip glazes.

The package is pretty and cute. The color is very beautiful, sheer, and last all day. This is what I've been looking for.It look like lip gloss, but my lip was getting dry after using it.How ever, it doesn'y matter, I can cover with lip gloss after applying this lip polish.I also have stila demi cream. I think this one is much better than demi cream.
I will buy it again because of its color and texture.

Garnish is a really bright, vibrant tropical watermelon pink. Definately not an everyday shade, although it can be used as a stain for a pretty muted effect.
I love the pop of color this gives to my complexion, and also the pretty pink packaging.

I just bought this last night to go with Lillium CC--I feel very pretty today! It is a lovely pink opaque but sheer gloss in a twist tube with brush. I am glad I splurged, but this is a v.expensive lip gloss for the amount of product you get. I think the LM glace are a much better deal--plus, I am not sure about the packaging--it's hard to get all the product out of these twistie things. I should have looked at the LM counter to see if there was something similar!

This is a fun, watermelon pink, spring time color that would be beautiful on the right person.
However, it's not my best pick and I probably wouldn't be willing to pay $25 for it (I got it as a GWP)
I will use what I've got, though with a darker, cool-toned liner underneath to make it a bit more flattering for my coloring.

Garnish is a beautiful barbie pink spring shade. The texture of the new polishes is better than that of the old ones IMO. They are non-sticky and not as sheer and glossy as the glazes but not as opaque and liquid lipstick-type like the old polishes. A nice cross-over of both: more pigmented than glazes, but still glossy somehow. I actually like the pen-type dispenser, it's handy and fits in any purse, but I know not everybody is fond of it. The only drawback I know is the price- it's ridiculous if you compare it to other brands' glosses. But then I am a sucker for the cute packaging... I hope that future polish shades will also have this new consistency!

Although I love Stila products in general, I wouldn't buy this because it was expensive for such a small product. However, I got this as a GWP and I never turn down a chance at trying something free.. :) That being said, I am very pleased about this lip polish. It makes my lips glossy, but not overly shiny, and imparts a beautiful glowing pink to them. This gloss isn't sticky, which I appreciate, and I love pairing it with MAC Pink Swoon blush for a pretty Spring look.

Just bought this last night and am LOVING IT!!!!! It is a nice shade, sort of a mauvey/browny/pinky shade. And the fact that it is not a full-coverage lipstick is nice. The "medium coverage" plus a nice "built-in" lipgloss consistancy is so pretty! Great for spring/summer when you don't want that heavy lipstick feel. I will be repurchasing this color as well as others.

This color is *gorgeous*! It's a bright fushia pink that seems scary, but actually wears quite beautifully with a pop of pink. It looks similar to MAC's pink poodle, but less pink and bright. It's highly pigmented and I found that it goes on really glossy, but then slowly wears off leaving a bit of a stain to the lips. Lovely!

This lip gloss comes with the Spring 2003 Cabana Girls collection. The color is bright pink, but not too bright when applied. It also match the strawberry trios shadow.
