Why do you do this to me MAC? Discontinue the best colors ever! This was my first item from MAC, I saw it on my best friend in high school when she wore it for homecoming and I fell in love. So gorgeous, MLBB. I still have two half used tubes of it, but it makes me sad that I won't be able to get a new one anymore.

Lame was my first ever MAC lipstick. I bought it via their website and picked it purely based on what colour the little square was..... Haha not good I know! It was a lot darker than I expected, though I love it! Great coverage and colour, quite sparkly. Recommended for those looking for a slightly darker colour, a change from pinks, without looking dramatic! :-)

I'm always worrying when I pick up lipsticks online without trying them out but when I saw this on the "going going gone" page on the MAC site I thought i'd pick it up (just in case!) and I this shade is MLBB and is nice and moisturising on me. At first I attempted to apply it with my new lipbrush I ordered at the same time but the colour really blended in with my natural lip colour that I ended up applying straight from the bullet. Gorgeous everyday colour! It does turn alittle brown on me though, still lovely.

Pretty good.
I actually took this from my mom a little while ago (she didn't want it).
I wasn't really a fan of it until I read reviews on MakeupAlley.
It really changed the way I look at this!
It brings out my green eyes really nicely!
The colour is a little deeper then my natural lip colour, with a golden shimmer.
:)

Another favorite MAC l/s! Lame & Plastique are my HG of lipstick. I first bought Lame in 1999 and I get compliments all the time. I think Lame & Plastique are the most complimented lip color i've worn...no wonder they are my favorite! Im NC 42'ish & Lame has that nice pinkish tone & not as frosty. I wear it MAC l/l in Chestnut but you can definitely wear it with a lighter brown l/l. Fabulous product!

I think Lame was my first Mac lipstick (about 10 years ago..). I saw this beautiful color on my cousin, and asked her immediately what it was. I bought one for myself and never looked back. It's a gorgeous pink shimmer that's close to my own lip color. Top it off with lip gloss and it'll look amazing! Pair this color with matte eyes and cheeks to balance the look. Even though I'm more of a matte type of girl, this is one of my exceptions.

This color works great on my fair skin tone. Its not too dark and has a brown undertone instead of purple which I prefer. Its my wintertime lipstick color that really brings out my green eyes when I wear it. Its moist and has decent staying power. My only complaint is that the lipstick is soft so it has started to break but not enough that I can't apply as long as I am gentle.

This color was too pale for me, and blended into my natural lip color too much. I originally purchased this to go with love nectar, but it just did not work out like I wanted it too.

This is my favorite lipstick color. It's absolutely perfect for my coloring, and just adds that nice pop of color. I love how it glimmers in the sun as well. I haven't had any drying problems with this like some of the reviews below. I do think it's a bit expensive, as I really have a hard time spending cash on lip products. But, I would still re-purchase as I love this color!

OK firstly THIS IS NOT CHEAP here... its $28 here in singapore...
I mean i can afford it but its not something im going to buy loads of... just because of the price ( and if i want to im going to have to save up ... lol)
Well I went into the store looking for a pinky lip colour, but I ended up getting this. Looking on the MAC website I actually didnt think of this colour. However after trying 20 over lipsticks the SA suggested this as a "natural" colour. I tried it on and I was not impressed, it looked ok. So anyway I bought it.
However trying it at home I realized what a lovely colour this is. It is pretty natural, a tad similar to my lip colouring. Yet it has a golden sheen. VERY GORGEOUS! It is a rosy pink with gold shimmer.
I also have to add that my lips are ultra dry, however this lipstick kept my lips moist for HOURS(yes ladies it stayed on for HOURS!). Its a colour you can wear everyday and for special occasions. I love it, especially with pinkish gloss on top, it really brings out the pink in it. Goes lovely with peachy/golden eyes....
Time for me to go buy more stuff from mac...LOL

I picked this up at the local MAC counter when they were out of "O" and the MA recommended it as a replacement of sorts. It's no O, first of all, but it is very nice. A bit lighter than I would normally wear, but really pretty for the summer. It's a nice fairly warm rosy pink with just a touch of shimmer. Like most MAC frosts, it lasts and lasts without touch-ups. (This is why I love their frosts). It will never replace O in my heart, but I will probably wear it a lot in the warmer months.

I just got this with Back2MAC and I find it to be without a doubt, the prettiest l/s I've ever worn! Its a beautiful medium warm rose with a gold sheen on top. I don't find it to be drying as other reviewers have, although it is certainly not as creamy as the lustre formulas, but at the same time, it definitely lasts longer. Will definitely repurchase when I run out!

I'm NC20 skin. When i first tried this l/s it was so dark on me that it look kinda scarey. I had thoughts of swapping it for something not as dark on me.
Until i talked to MAC online rep and she mentioned to use lip brush and apply l/g over it.
I tried it today, and it looks great. I couldn't stop staring at the mirror. I posted a fotd on the mu board. It's definetly staying with me now and really luv the color a lot more than before.

i got this from back2MAC and that's where it's going - back2MAC! the color is beautiful and quite flattering, a pink with gold tones. i find it somewhat similar to Viva Glam V. However, as many of the reviewers mentioned below, this l/s feels very dry on one's lips and does not feel comfortable, not to mention that my lips look wrinkly. could this be individual to this particular l/s as so many of us have mentioned it in our reviews?

I love this color! On my pigmented lips, the color appears a burnished soft brownish red/pink overlaid with gold. My only complaint is that it feels a little dry on my lips, so I have to use a balm or lipgloss with it, which seems to tone down the gold a little. But I still love it and would repurchase.

I'd never thought to pick up Lame because it looked much too similar to Sequin, under that department store lighting. But a few weekends ago, when a friend whipped it out and put it on, I couldn't help but stare at her mouth like a total idiot, and when I found out it was Lame, I had to get it. Side by side, Sequin does look somewhat similar, except it's got that touch of plum I'm not too fond of as of late, and Lame looks totally different on my lips: it's a berry/gold that deepens if I use Half Red liner (smudged in), and is softer if I use Whirl. Love it with Viva Glam V lipglass on top!

I just got this as my B2M l/s and I really wasn't sure about it, but the SA suggested it so I gave it a shot. Turns out I made a great decision! This is a very pretty berry/gold on my lips, no brown tones for me at all. It's a bit dark for everyday wear in the winter (I'm NW15-20) but it's a perfect color on me for evening and I will wear it alot this summer when I'm a bit darker.

I Love Lame! It's one of those pinks that loooks natural on me... I'm pretty fair but most light pinks make me look dead. This has just enough ooomph to show up but it's not so dark that is screams LIPSTICK.
