I own this 2.4 fl oz EDT and the solid perfume.
The EDT has amazing longevity; spray it on your clothes and you can still smell it days after!
It is invigorating green tea with citrus, and a dash of jasmine flower. It smells sweet yet herbal-like. I'll always feel refreshed smelling this. :)
I prefer this over Elizabeth Arden's now. It smells very nicely blended, a "smooth" green tea scent versus EA's harsh, stinging green smell.

Let me just start off by saying this doesn't last very long - I own both the solid & the EDT and both are very fleeting in terms of longevity. That being said, it's a citrusy, invigorating green tea scent with a touch of woods which I like wearing to the office. It's comforting but not sweet or cloying (rather fresh and sparkling) - a reminder of summer (temperate summers in Europe, not tropical summers) when it's cold & grey outside.
I keep the solid at my desk and in my bag for touch ups, as the spray doesn't last too long. However, there are other products in the line up to layer the scent, which seems to help a bit.
I gave it a 4 for how fleeting it is (1 lippy off - but it is still beautiful in its simplicity and lightness). The packaging for both the solid and spray could be improved a bit, and it is nothing to write home about, but it is utilitarian and does the job. Could be easily used as a unisex cologne as well.
If you enjoyed this, you would probably enjoy Roger & Gallet Eau parfumée thé vert (a bit sharper than the L) and the Bvlgari EDT of the same name (more austere, less casual).

I love this fragrance, especially in the summer months. I originally was drawn to it because it involved tea, and I am a tea junkie, but was pleased to find that I actually also love the fragrance! It's fresh and clean, if it were a color it would be a yellowish green. Very pretty smell, and I always feel so fancy using products from l'occitane, although they are a bit expensive for my budget. I will definitely repurchase. I wish they had more products in this fragrance, since I would be all over a green tea hand cream/lotion.

Stunning scent that lingers for a long time. It's very refreshing and sweet.
I purchased mine in at outlet store so the price was cheaper. £17 for 20ml perfume and a bottle of body lotion - so it was reasonable.
Definately would buy again - haven't smelled anything similar to it.

I like this green tea scent. It lasts longer than any other I've tried. If you like green tea I highly recommend this!

I purchased the solid perfume, and now am not sure why - it smells like a man's cologne? It's kind of a pine, clean smell. After a few months, I am not liking it.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry, Fair, Warm Hair: Red Eyes: Brown
My bottle is several years old, so I'm afraid I don't know anything about the reformulation. What I have is a light, very green, very simple scent; absolutely refreshing on warmer days. It's unassuming and crisp, and avoids being overly sweet or cloying by anyone's definition.

I love the green tea fragrance so much!I wear it almost every day. It is light and perfect for the morning.

This is such an awesome scent! I've been in search of the perfect scent for years and this one just blew me away..
It is so soothing, natural, elegant, full of happiness..
I just feel so good wearing it. The staying power is great.
I spray on both wrists at 7am and can still smell it on myself without getting tired and sick of it.
Besides this one, I'm also wearing Marc Jacobs EDP

Reviewing solid perfume version of The Vert/Green Tea scent. Nice scent, but definitely not very concentrated in the solid version. Fades pretty quickly which makes me wish I had gotten the Lemon Verbenda scent in the solid as that seemed much stronger.
I am giving L'Occitane points on this mostly because they came out with a solid perfume version of this scent in a small tin which is more portable in a purse or briefcase for scent touch-ups throughout the day or evening. Also, the solid versions are nice for travelling as there is no problems with perfume getting all over everything. Priced at $9.00 for a small tin, it's not like you break the budget for trying it - but again I would probably choose a stronger scent next time I buy.

Sweet but not too sweet, very fresh, and not heavy. I love this fragrance which lasts throughout the day. The bottle is also cute (I have the smaller sized bottle). Definitely worth the money and I will be buying it again! It's my absolute favorite.
Update: My friend said I smell delicious, like a tea house. haha

Fresh, crisp, clean scents are perfect for the office; they are uplifting and keep up your spirits - which is so important at work. This would get a "5" if it had staying power. I'm thankful that L'Occitane has Green Tea solid perfume for touch-ups throughout the day. They also have the shower gel/shampoo and body milk, so there are enough products to layer. I highly recommend this fragrance to the lone women out there working in male-dominated fields - you can still be gracefully-scented without drawing too much attention to yourself (you get enough already).

I really like L'occitane's products and packaging - but usually I do alot of browsing and not much buying. Green Tea (The Vert) is a refreshing and sweet version that is very wearable. Not a HG but very nice. (I like the Verbena line even more.)

I am known to fall in love with a scent, and right now I've found love... ! There is something about this scent that makes me feel very sexy, like a woman. It also reminds me of my honeymoon in Italy. Somehow it combines a sexy scent with a clean feeling - this is new to me. I really love it!!! I can't stop smelling myself. The packaging leaves something to be desired for the price (the spray cap came off yesterday), but it does not smell cheap. I'm a fan :)

It's nice. It's just a green citrus, but it's light and tea-ish enough that it smells real. It's not fake or pine sol-ish. I want to try the mint and the jasmine eventually.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Medium Eyes: Brown
Lovely, clean and citrus w/ green tea. Not much more, but nonetheless lovely. Very 'Zen' smelling to me... sparce but great impact. Perfect unisex scent. Perfect for summer. I would love to try the Green Tea with Mint as well. Wonderful product at a reasonable price.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Normal, Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
This is clean and refreshing, but if you already have a green tea fragrance, you won't need this. I'll stick with my Bvlgari when I'm in a tea mood.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
Lovely, rich , green tea with slight hint of honey smell. A great spring/summer scent when you are going to be outdoors. Stays fresh on your skin. The smell lasted a good amount of time. Also very unisex. I like it as well as my husband does.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Cool Hair: Red, Fine Eyes: Green
Lovely, green, summery. Very light and works well in hot weather; refreshing both in humid and dry heat. Also comes in a good little solid tin. It has a similar effect on the skin as fragrant iced tea to the over-heated palate. Little sweetness at all: purely verdant, and without a hint of bitterness.
L'Occitane also produces variations on this, I haven't worked out how far these are seasonal and which are, on the contrary, permanent. There's one with mint that's extra-cooling in extreme hot weather, and a real beauty with jasmine. Alas they don't come in the lovely little tin too.
Comes in 100 ml EDT, 20 ml travel-size (brilliant, and great for trying it out), and the glorious solid-in-a-tin. There's also assorted lotions and potions for luxuriating in the bath, an excellent long-lasting scented candle, and room-fragrance (also, as with the Eau des Quatre Reines, excellent to spritz on clothes and freshen them up after a night out or, indeed, a hot sweaty day; or to use on laundry; etc.).
Just thinking about this perfume makes me miss summer. Not that we had much summer, here in Ireland. I used this in the US in *real* summers. Even the non-minty version makes me think of iced tea, mint juleps (and properly cool cocktails), porches, admiring the steaming tarmac from a comfortable distance, having one's sweaty feet up, and the joys of wearing a very large sunhat without fear of public inappropriateness.
UPDATE: (and now in Canada) back to this due to skin irritation from alcohol (in my other usual spray-perfumes). Some might say that sucks. But I barely resent being "stuck" with alcohol-free perfume solids, as the Green Tea is such a delight. So now there's a proliferation of tins: at home, in The Bag, at work.

This is a nice summer scent. It's got a fresh herbal smell. Not too sweet or heavy.
