This is the only pot of lip gloss from Cargo I actually put to good use. I use both of the colors and love both of them. One gloss is very bright, ( think neon coral ), but on the lips it is less dramatic, so don't be put off by the color! The other shade is a bit of a shimmer that complements the neon coral very nicely. While it is true that this gloss will have to be reapplied, I haven't come across very many glosses that didn't need reapplication. So I don't really understand why people are complaining about the reapplication of this lip gloss especially since it's not even advertised as a gloss that will last all day. What makes me choose Cargo gloss over other brands is the consistency of the product ... it's so smooth and no matter how much you apply it will not feel tacky like M.A.C lip glosses feel.
*Now the a few things that annoy me the most about this product**
I've been using this gloss for since I was eighteen (approx 6rys!!) and I've had to return four pots because the metal casings have popped off from the black plastic base located on the bottom of the tin. This isn't a cheap gloss, it cost $20 a pop and therefore the defects with the packaging should be kept to a minimal. Also, this is not a gloss to be carried in your pocket ... especially on hot days. The gloss will melt and might drip when it opened. Definitely store it in cool/dry/FLAT space. I would suggest to Cargo that it might be better for this smooth gloss to be packaged in a tube or some other type of vertical container.

I love these two colors. A pretty light pink and a salmon color. Unlike many other reviews, I actually like the texture of this gloss. It's thin and very smooth. I think it stays on for a decent amount of time and I prefer this texture more than the Mac lipglasses that are very sticky and thick. This spreads nice and evenly without feeling like you have elmers glue on your lips. On the down side the pot is shallow so there isn't a lot of product in it and the price is too high for such a small amount of gloss. Overall I would consider buying this again b/c the colors are really pretty.

No staying power whatsoever. But its pretty to look at. Overpriced and the packaging tends to leak in high heat and humidity. I love Cargo's lipgloss colors but they wear off too easily. Just because I love their color variety I give them 2 lippies.

I love the colors in this tin (especially the peachy/salmony color), but like many other people reviewing, I found that this had absolutely NO staying power. And I still can't believe that anyone would say there is "lots" of gloss in the tin... the pans are incredibly shallow! I felt pretty duped when I hit the bottom of the pan within a month. For what you get, this really isn't worth it, even though I adore the colors.

I LOVE THIS GLOSS!
Both colors look great with my skin tone. They also work great over other lipstick...especially the light pink.
to whomever said this doesn't last...are you serious? I have had this stuff for about a year now! There is so much!
Although I do wish it would come in a tube with a wand. Carrying a brush around is sort of annoying.

Sadly, this cute gloss and I were not meant to be. The colors are a a milky peachy/pink (some below described as salmon, but I think it's too light for that) and a frosted, pale pink. Looks adorable in the pot. On lips, the pigment delivery for both colors was minimal, but my real beef is with the texture - it really did feel like watery vaseline, with exactly as much staying power. Within five minutes of application the gloss migrated above and below my lips, but didn't stay on them. Price is inflated for the amount of product, obscene for the poor quality. This is my second CARGO disappointment, so I think I'm swearing this line off for good. Yuck.

This is my favor Cargo shade. I love it. I just bought my second tin of it for summer. This has become a staple in my makeup bag.

Oh my God! I'm very surprised reading the reveiws on this gloss. Has no one (save a couple reveiwers who did) noticed how SHALLOW the tin actually is? I would NEVER EVER buy this (or anything with similarly deceptive packaging) again-SUCH a friggin' rip-off. The only way I could justify paying the $18.00 I did for this gloss was the size and depth of the tin, I thought it was a good deal cause even though it was super-pricey I'd be getting a TON of gloss, right? WRONG. I reached the bottom of the salmon side (the only wearable color-the other side is chalky white and makes me look like the undead) in ONE WEEK! I gasped when I realized I had reached the bottom because I could NOT beleive how shallow it was compared to the actual depth of the tin! Ridiculous-and what's worse is that the packaging is, if you ask me, PURPOSELY deceptive. On the plus side though-I did find a good use for the chalky pale pink shimmery side-looks horrible on lips but lovely on the cheeks when used as a highlighting cream. *Note: I have very dry skin, oily-skinned folk probably wouldn't want to use it as a highlighting cream as it would be far too greasy.

I am reviewing the deluxe GWP sample size of this product from Sephora (pink side only).
SF is a bubblegum pink l/g with slight shimmer. It glides on easily but has no staying power whatsoever. You basically have to constantly apply and reapply this product if you want it to stay on your lips at all, although it is very moisturizing. The pitfalls: 1) it's not noticeable at all on my pigmented lips (other than the shine), and 2) the pot form is hard to take on-the-go. I'd prefer wand lipglosses over Cargo's pot ones because they're more practical.

It's a beautiful pinky shimmer on one side, and a sheer salmon on the other. This lipgloss doesn't have much staying power, but I hate lipglosses that are so thick that they leave this white icky residue-y ring around my lips. When mixed together, they look like my lipcolor, but with more pink! I usually only use nude glosses, but I'll make this one an exception. This is definitely a staple in my spring makeup bag.

I really like the two colors in this set. The salmon pink looks like a better, peachier version of my natural lip color. The shimmery light pink is the perfect, kind of understated shiny nude lip. These glosses work great for everyday casual looks.
I really like how they feel on too. Not sticky and heavy at all, not even on my fingers. But like other reviews say, they really don't stay on. However, they really give you a good amount of product to make up for all those times you need it.

I like this stuff and still bought it despite the not so great reviews! It has already been described pretty well--one side is a shimmery light pinkish (very sheer), while the other is a peachy-salmon-coral shade (not TOO pigmented, but enough to give my mediumly pigmented lips a good shot of color). They aren't TOO incredibly shiny, but I find them to be moisturizing, which is saying a lot coming form the girl w/ the driest lips ever lol...
These shades go great w/ a tan :)! (i have tanned skin, dark brown eyes, brown hair w/ golden highlights) and I imagine they'd be perfect for this summer! I would buy them again, although I think they ARE a bit pricey! As for taste, not so good--waxy/oily, BUT not enough to prevent me from liking it :)_!

i usually like to wear both of the colors together. for some reason, the shimmery light pink does not look good alone w/ my skin tone and the peachie color looks a lil too bright. but then again, i like kinda a natural looking glosses. it is quite sticky i think cuz when the wind blows, it tends to stick on my lips a lot. i think it's worth it for the price cuz i've had it for several months and haven't even reached the bottom of the tin yet.

I think the only reason why this gloss comes in such a hugeass tin is because the people at Cargo realised the wearability (or lack of) of the gloss would require the wearer to apply it 9874298 times a day. That's the approximate number of times I had to touch up when I wear this gloss. And because you have to use a brush (I'm anal about using fingers to apply lip products) to apply it, touching up is NOT convenient at all. The only reason why I haven't swapped it away is because I love the corally shade! bwaaahhh... just when I thought I had found *it*, *it* lasts 2 seconds on me. It gives the right amount of sheer reddy-orangeness on my lips and the texture is less tacky than Stila's Tangerine l/g. The shimmery milky-pink shade is much too light to wear on its own and I wear this over Stila Demi Rose. v lovely. This gloss has been banished to the 'product for makeovers' section of my collection because it's too much trouble to bring it out.

Fabulous colours, great peachy colour and a great shiney sparkly pale pink. I only wish they had a bit more staying power, and were a little more moisturizing. but otherwise, very pretty!

A duo. Feels very light, and it's not sticky which is something I look for in a gloss. The tin is huge, that's why I said I wouldn't repurchase, I don't think I will need to. I don't reach for it as much as I used to. Very sheer, but gives off a decent amount of shine. The matte shade is a peachy pink, which looks bright in the tin but look very natural on. The lighter shimmery shade is very sheer also, and look like pink shine on my lips, almost a little too white with my tan-olive complexion, but I use it sparingly. A good product overall.

The peach side is a bit too light when applied, but together they look great. I love the texture. I thought it was too light of a color for winter so I bought Santa Ana - which is actually too dark and more a night out color so now I want to get Baden Baden. I love this stuff, but the packaging is bulky!

I didn't think I'd like this cuz the colors are sheer and I can't wear sheer colors. As a PPP they wash me out and make me look ill. But this is so pretty I can't resist. I have to pile it on for it to show up on my lips. I have to wear it with other lipsticks or liner underneath then it works. I'm lazy and it's too much to put on liner, lip color, then the San Fran gloss, so I won't buy it again. Not the color but my own problem that I can't wear sheers. sigh

The packaging is pretty big. The color looks really scary at first, but it's so nice. I love the orangy color. The pink is kind of plain...I have 3 glosses/lipsticks that looks like it. But I still love it! It's very sheer.
