I like this product a lot because it does really help with lightening if you use the entire Shu Uemura whitening line. The price it's a bit steep for a toner, but if you are planning into investing to brightening your skin, go for this. Unlike the other shu uemura "waters", this one is not as hydrating as the rest, be prepared to use a good day time moisturizer. I recommend Shu Uemura's B-G reinforcing gel cream if you find this too drying.

i can't say i noticed i difference in my skin-tone (asian, tan :T) but it was refreshing, brightening, a good product overall

Not bad. It is a very refreshing toner which can also wiped some remaining dirt/dead skin (loose cells) from face. And that function help the next step, whitening essence to absorb better. Even using this toner alone can brighten your face. Smell very pleasant as well.
