This is one of the most soothing, calming scents. Even though it's White Tea and Ginger, I get whiffs of lemon combined with the slight spiciness of ginger. I use this shower gel during my night time baths when I want everything to be calming. I only enjoy using fresh, light scents during baths. The shower gel itself is of good quality-it lathers and it does not dry out my skin. I purchased it during BBW's Semi-Annual Sale as it is only available during certain times.

First of all, I LOVE THIS SCENT. I'm not going to convince you to buy this particular scent...for that you should go to the lotion review or actually smell it. I find it funny how other reviewers based the rating on scent alone...especially when this product doesn't even work to leave the scent on the skin.

It doesn't lather well at all (even with a latherer or washcloth). Since it doesn't lather, it doesn't stay on my skin long enough to leave the scent.

It's very disappointing because I really love the white tea and ginger scent. If you want the scent, buy the lotion or the hand soaps instead, not this. This shower gel does a crappy job at cleaning and making you smell good.

White Tea and Ginger is my favorite bath and body works fragrance. I usually buy it in just the lotion, but the shower gel is nice, too. The scent is slightly sweet green tea with warm spicy ginger. (Not too spicy, not too sweet, etc.) For some reason this scent has been discontinued but is available during the semi-annual sales and sometimes online. I rarely pay full price for Bath and Body Works shower gels, but a bottle will last a little while. I don't find the gel exceptional, but it does lather and clean nicely and the fragrance is stronger than many generic brands. I have plenty of shower gels right now, but once I used them up I may try to get ahold of some White Tea and Ginger because I love the perfect, sophisticated scent so much.

HG Bath and Body Works scent.

I generally don't get much into their fragrances. They tend to be really cloying. However, I found this gem and sniffed it, thinking I wouldn't like it - bought 2 bottles.
This was a month ago.

Today, I went back and bought out an ENTIRE SHELF of this scent in shower gels, lotion, anti-bac lotion, and hand washes.
I love it that much!
It is absolutely my HG for shower gel and lotion... layers wonderfully with my signature scent(which I wear probably 75% of the time): Bvlgari Green Tea Parfumee.

Granted, I don't buy the spray for White Tea and Ginger, but I can vouch for the entire rest of the line as being fabulous.

Not too sweet, just enough spice. One of the main notes in this GREEN tea, oddly. And the green tea is exactly what I smell when I use it. This is good thing, imo.
Actual notes as follows:

Fragrance Top Notes: Yuzu, Lemon, Green Tea, Bergamot

Fragrance Mid Notes: Geranium, Nutmeg, Rose, Earl Grey Tea

Fragrance Base Notes: Musk, Woods, Berries

Not what I expected at all. Where's the ginger? All I smell is lemon Snapple iced tea! Overall, not horrible, but not what I hoped for.

I love this scent! It is a nice, crisp warm fall/winter scent. It has a soothing warmth of ginger spice to it, that is not cloying. I was actually MORTIFIED by myself (as this was a Christmas present to me from a salesman I worked with). I liked it SO much I kept on thinking about the salesman who gave it to me and how he picked it out and had different thoughts of him than I normally would have due to being impressed he picked that scent for me! LOL

This is a lovely, light scent. Yummy white tea with a spark of ginger - I would say it's a unisex scent. Very spring/summer - fresh and clean. I like B&BW's Creamy Body Washes since they are more moisturizing than the Shower Gels.

A nice strong tea scent with ginger hints - I am so loving this! I got the shower gel, though I prfer the shower creams, and it lathers well, cleans off quickly, and has a lasting scent in the shower.

Impressed by this fragrance. After a workout, this combination of somewhat sweet (but not overpowering) tea and warm ginger just hits the spot. The shower gel lathers wonderfully and I can see using one bottle for a long time. A unique combination of scents, IMO. Sort of reminds me of Origins products, a bit higher class fragrance than BBW usually makes... don't know why.

This is a fairly nice scent, not too strong or heavy. This scent is something I would wear when it was a bit warmer out, it's not really a cold weather scent to me.

I guess you can tell I recently made a run on B&BW. I picked up the shower gel and creamy body wash in this new scent, which is really nice. The definite smell of tea with a hint of ginger. I like the B&BW shower gels -- nice lather & leaves skin feeling soft and clean.
