I love this stuff.
My hair is afro textured thick and kinky as ever (2c).

The first time I used it was at an old friends house,

My hair was extremely damaged from dyes and not mosturizing (just getting up and go really).

I wanted to steal this from him!!!!!!
THis stuff mousturizes my hair like crazy, leaving it manageable and strong.
I def have to but this stuff for myself.

Okay, ladies, I realize anyone who knows anything about hair and hair products, particularly hair stylists, would say this conditioner and any other drug store shampoo or conditioner is CRAP for your hair. Any company can put words like "moisturizing" and "shine" and "botanicals" etc. on a bottle but that doesn't mean anything. Here's the thing: When it comes to taking care of your hair, it's not just about the products you use, but the PROCESS. I have very curly, dark Middle Eastern hair, and I realized a while back that what works best for MY hair is to NOT condition in the shower, but only as a leave-in. I used to use Dove shampoo and conditioner in the shower back when I didn't know any better, and after a visit to a REAL salon, I was introduced to Sleek Look shampoo for us curly girls, which turned out doing WONDERS for my hair. I stopped using Dove in the shower and decided, what the hey, why not try the conditioner as a leave-in? This works GREAT... for ME. It may not work for others, but I think those of us with big, naturally curly hair should give this a try. EVERY TIME I go to the salon to get my hair cut, the first thing the ladies say upon sifting through my hair to figure out what they're gonna do with it is, "Oh my GOSH your hair is SO HEALTHY! What do you put in here?!" And I always knock their socks off when I tell them that all I do is shampoo with Sleek Look a couple times a week and use Dove conditioner as a leave-in after washing... and for the record, I never experienced much difference between the "Intense" Moisture Therapy and "Daily" Moisture Therapy versions. When I ask them if I should stop using Dove, they say my hair looks so good that I should probably not mess with whatever seems to be working for me (3 separate hair stylists have said this). My hair used to be pretty crappy, but doing it this way has really helped. Now my husband, with super thick, tight wavy hair (Latino) has been using it as a leave-in and says his hair feels a lot better, too. I realize Dove conditioner may not be the best for everyone, or very good for our hair at all, but it seems to work for me as a leave-in. They seem to always sell sample sizes of this at the drug store, so pick one up and give it a whirl. If you end up liking it, the huge size with a pump is cheap from Costco. Good luck!

I love this! I actually use this once a week as a deep conditioner, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. It also smells nice, which is a plus.

This is a great product. I can't get over how soft and silky my hair is. It is beautiful and very affordable. I would recommend this to anyone. I have relaxed hair with extensions and it is working wonders on both.

A miracle for me. I have found that I have significantly less split ends then before I used this. This is so moisturizing, and it makes my hair super soft.

My go-to in-shower conditioner. I have thick, wavy, semi-coarse hair and it works wonders without weighing down. Makes my natural waves shiny and bouncy, I love Dove! I use with the Intense Moisture Shampoo.

Does what its suppose to do. My hair is always soft when I use this. It's also very cheap so go try it. There's nothing to lose.

I love the scent of this and it does a good job of moisturizing my hair. This can build-up over-time, but I like to rotate around with other conditioners so its not a problem for me. It gives my thick hair some weight when I need it and gives my curls a boost. Better suited for those with slightly dry to medium-thick hair. Its also affordable and the bottle is simple. It has a creamy consistency which I like too without being oily.

LOVE. I had the worst split ends until I used this product. My hair is always so soft now. I personally love the smell, to me it smells clean. I use both the shampoo and conditioner together and the difference in my hair is astounding. I would recommend this to anyone with thick, damaged hair!!

Yes, this conditioner delivers moisture and is hydrating, but it also weighed down my fine hair, so I can't recommend it for those with a similar hair type. The scent left more to be desired, as I could smell it all day in my hair, and reminded me of bad self-tanner.

first let me just say that i am a cosmetologist. i am used to buying high end quality shampoos. i have to say out of all the really expensive shampoos and conditioners that i have tried this product works the best on my hair. i have really thick and frizzy hair. Most high end products that i recomend to my ladies they fall in love instantly but i have to say for hispanic hair this is by far the best product to use.

When I started using this, my hair was dried out, dull, lifeless, etc. I always turned to Dove when I needed extra moisture, whether it be in my hair, skin, face, or even underarms. I used this for a while and was completely in love. My hair felt soft again. It smoothed out frizzies, brought back a natural shine, made my hair easier to style, and even smelled amazing. It was about halfway through the bottle I started realizing that the 1/4 moisturizer that Dove talks about is building up in my hair more and more each time I use it. By the time I finished my bottle (of shampoo and conditioner) my hair was greasy, weighed down, impossible to style, and dry. I couldn't believe it. I stopped using Dove a while ago and went back to an old HG L'Oreal Vive Hydra Gloss, and my hair still doesn't feel the same. I feel like I'm still trying to remove buildup from using Dove. This is hands down the worst conditioner I've used. I'd buy VO5 before I bought this again.

My hair is a retarded mixed texture that im sure a lot of black girls are most familiar with [if you're mixed with anything]...
ANYwayzz... its also really damaged. I went for this product after MONTHS of hesitation.. i just didnt trust it would work for some reason.. and i was right. this stuff didnt do JaCK for my hair. shampoo or conditioner--not even the first time! I keep trying different stuff but i always go back to my Frizz-ease & Pantene shampoo's and conditioners ( i alternate). they both always always make my hair super soft and shiny.

I'm very pleased with this conditioner. It made my hair really soft and doesn't make my scalp oily. I love the smell of it too. I'm a big fan of hair products that are heavily perfumed. It's just a great product, overall.

I have very thick and curly hair, usually I need a lot of conditioner because my hair is very hard to comb. This conditioner is very moisturizing and leaves my hair very soft and manageable afterwards. I didn't need a huge amount. Will buy again.
