I have this in the "dry skin" version with macadamia. It was reasonably priced, under $10, for a largish bottle of lotion. It has a thin consistency, spreads nicely, absorbs fast and doesn't leave you sticky (I hate the lotion stickies...). With continued massaging ( circular to get circulation going to help with toning and cellulite) it leaves your skin firm feeling. For me, the scent is a little strong, but I don't find it overly flowery or "feminine" and it fades to a bearable smell after half an hour or so.
The great thing about this lotion is that it leaves your skin glowy and plumped up. I wouldn't say that it firms in a permanent way, but it moisturizes enough to make your skin cells plump up to look healthy and smooth all day. It has helped (along with scrubbing in the shower) to get rid of a couple small patches of keratosis that were developing on my arms, so I'm certain that it is an effective moisturizer. I will definitely buy again because I love that my skin looks deeply moisturized without having that disgusting slick feeling. I've just finished my first bottle, so I'm interested in seeing if continued use with nivea's q10 will produce results that do more to restore lost collagen and are not so temporary. This lotion is definitely worth a try with short-short season here!

I am very satisfied with this lotion. I paid only $7 for it and the bottle is quite big. The consistency is more watery, but I kinda like that because I find creams are harder to blend.
The way I apply it is, I smooth this all over my body and especially massaging the areas where I feel I need more firmness. It doesn't absorb that quickly. It takes about 30 minutes, but then I get super soft skin that's tighter than before. I find it quite moisturizing for a rather watery firming lotion, which to me is another plus.
I can definitely see that my skin is much firmer with this lotion and I will continue using it daily, because that seems to really show the difference.
Great product, and I wish I could have discovered this sooner.

BEWARE! This lotion broke me out in a red, itchy, raised rash. I do not have sensitive skin whatsoever, and I have never had a reaction to any skin product, so needless to say, I was surprised by my skin's reaction. I was using the lotion daily, and the rash started to appear on Day 5 of use. I immediately stopped using it, but the rash has continued to appear and get worse. I haven't used it for 3 days now, and the rash is still there. According to my internet research, I'm not the only one this has happened to... a red, itchy rash about 5-6 days after starting use seems to be more common than it should be. I was surprised that no MakeupAlley reviewers have had this experience (though a few mentioned "breaking out" and itching, which is probably a milder version of what I have).
I really wanted to like this... the consistency was good, it absorbed quickly, and I was curious to see if it firmed at all. Unfortunately, I never got that far. This went right in the trash. Save yourself the potential hassle and find something better.

The smell is nice.
The product is very watery yet very moisturizing. For those people who keeps saying it does not absorb, It's a lotion and you need to apply and massage it in for few seconds. I does firm my skin, not that much of a difference, but leaves skin bouncy and smooth.

I finished off a full bottle of this after using it everyday and just repurchased another. I can't say if this alone helps with firming the skin because i dry body brush and exercise but it's a good basic body lotion. Absorbs quite quickly, moisturises well (might not be moisturising enough for super dry skin though) and the smell doesn't offend me. I'll repurchase if it's on special. Pump bottle is good!!

It's fine. And that's it. This lotion doesn't smell amazing, but that's ok because I don't want it to have a smell that will mismatch with my perfume. Just has a basic lotion smell. This lotion is more greasy than I like, it does eventually absorb, but when I have to move quickly to the next thing like putting clothes on or makeup. not fast enough. Firming? Uh..I don't think I use it enough to notice. I mean moisture lotions in general tightens skin so it seems to just be outting that fact of all lotions. I tried this because I like nivea cellulite gel, but not even close to the same. It's my back up lotion...tend to grab other ones sitting around instead of it like St. Ives and Sheer Infusion
Anyway.

My mom bought this from costco so it was super huge costco size. My sister was using it when she was visiting and I passed her room and got a whiff. Instantly, memories flooded into my mind of a time long ago. I really couldn't put my finger on it. My mom ended up giving me the lotion, and I hauled the big pump home. Last night I used it for the first time, and aha! I remembered! It smells a lot like Designer Skin Addicted to Love tanning lotion. Not many of you probably have used it but I used this a lot when I was using a tanning bed. I really like how this lotion smells not sure how it performs though, for a first use it doesn't leave me greasy but it leaves me really soft. I haven't used it a full 2 weeks to find out about the firming part, but I have used other Coq10 products and they worked pretty good. I'll be using this stuff a lot. <3

I love it! This lotion makes my skin soooo soft! It's not thick but it moisturizes very well, even in winter (and I tend to get dried and flaky skin during the cold months). Works well in summer too - just use a smaller amount. It's definitely more expensive than most lotions (at least in Europe) but the result is great. It is scented but the smell goes off soon and doesn't interfere with my normal perfume. One lippy off since it doesn't give the firming effect it claims. However, this makes a great body lotion in general.

This review is for the Nivea Skin Firming Moisturizer Q10 Plus With Advanced Q10 Complex.
Worst lotion ever. I love the pump. I love that it absorbs quickly and is very moisturizing. But the smell is horrible. It reminds me of those women who bathe in perfume before they leave their homes. I can be sensitive to smells but this was off the charts.
The first time I used this was after a shower, a little before bedtime. At first I thought the fragrance would go away after a while.....nope. Didn't happen. I got dizzy and light headed from the smell, and then when I tried to go to sleep, it kept me awake. Awful product. I wouldn't recommend.

I've only used this for about a week now but so far I really like it. It makes my skin so soft. I think I may see some skin firming but maybe it's just me trying to convince myself it's working. I don't know. I'm going to keep using this and see how it goes. Even if it doesn't end up firming, I'll still use it because it makes my skin so soft.

This lotion is very runny and watery and when I put it on, it kind of just sits on thee surface of my skin making it slippery. I've been using this lotion for about a month now and I can say that it does moisturise but I didn't notice any firming. I also really don't like the smell of this moisturiser and it seems to just never fade away even after hours of putting it on.
I wouldn't purchase this product again as I like to try different kinds of body moiturisers everytime I run out.

I hate this lotion. It doesn't firm, but honestly I never thought it would. I dislike it because it doesn't sink into your skin. After showering and putting this on, I have to wait 10-15 minutes before putting my clothes on. The feeling is almost like a self-tanner. Yuck!

I really tried to not like this cream. I bought it about 4 months ago, but spotted other creams that interested me more.
I decided to use it up before using something else and my legs and arms have never been softer! I have mild KP on my legs and arms and it softens them right up so that I can barely tell that I even have bumpies.
I`m still waiting for the `firming` part, but I have noticed that the skin on my legs is more even. I`ve only been using it consistently for about 2 weeks now. So we shall see where this goes. I will buy this product again because of the way it makes my skin feel.

this lotion is very moisturizing and wee absorb, not oily or sticky like some of them can be. My skin is always smooth and hydrated, as for firming I didn't see much difference in my skin. This is very inexpensive, I only gave it three lippy because it claims to firm skin which I didn't notice at all, for my my test for a product is one bottle if it doesn't show results in one bottle it never will. One of these bottle will last me about 3 months.

I had a lot of luck with this lotion starting out - I noticed a difference in the appearance of my cellulite within about three weeks with regular use, and my skin was softer overall. Even though it has a thin consistency, it was enough to keep my skin well moisturized (at first). I even liked the smell, it's just a clean lotion smell that isn't too sweet or flowery, and it didn't compete with other fragrances I wore.
Unfortunately, prolonged use had side effects on my skin - namely, the thinner skin on my lower tummy and hips got dry and flaky, to the point where my skin was peeling and leaving little white flakes all over my clothes! I had been using the lotion for about five months at this point, and could not figure out what was causing the dryness; I initially attributed it to a bout of the flu I had, because I had gotten horribly dehydrated and couldn't shower for a week, much less put on moisturizer. It kept getting worse, though, and finally two months after I got sick I happened to find some reviews for this that mentioned the same symptom.
I stopped using it immediately, and after a few weeks my skin started to look normal again. I still have almost a full bottle left, so I might try it for shorter periods at a time, but definitely not to the degree I was before, and only on my upper thighs and butt.

i like it.
it definitly hydrates your skin and leave it with a pretty soft feeling, i used for my whole body :)
i don't really know about the firming part but it kinda of even out the skin so the cellulite is not so visible and that's a huge plus... oh and let's not forget the pump
i'm buying this again and again.

I bought this at Costco for $12.00 and I love it, I have been using it for about 3 months now. I use it everyday because my skin is really dry and i need moisturizers and lotions all the time. Anyway I love it because it keeps my skin looking beautiful and soft, compared to other moisturizers. I do not agree with the price, I think it should cost less. I would buy something cheaper, but nothing works better on my skin than this, besides Aveno face and body lotions.

This a great product for the price. I feel like it is working as a firmer. The great thing is, it smells nice, and feels nice! Some of the other firming lotions I have tried have not been to hot. They smell funny to me. But you can't ever go wrong with Nivea. Great quality, wonderful bargain, awesome lotion!

The only reason I gave this lotion such a low rating is its scent. The scent actually started burning my nose and though I only put it on two arms, I just couldn't put it on the rest of my body.
If you can take the scent I thought the lotion was great. Instantly, my arms looked great...and that's no small feat on someone who is 53. I also have sensitive skin and found this lotion non-irritating.
I found the consistency fine and on my arms a little went a long way.
If the scent doesn't bother you...I'd high recommend it.
