I have fine hair that sometimes lacks body or movement. This product is a staple and often the only product I use. It adds shine and makes my hair swingy and silky without weighing it down or making it look oily like shine drops or serums. Some reviewers have commented on the smell- I don't find it masculine at all, it's just a clean, strong scent that's very different from the overly sweet or fruity scents so frequently found in hair products these days. In my opiniob, this "clean" scent is a plus.

Shining is a standard in my product cabinet, I have been using it for about 15 years.
I love this stuff. It makes blowing out your hair SO MUCH EASIER. The brush will glide right through. Hair is shiner and bouncier, smells great, all good stuff.
Just don't use too much and you will be golden.

i had been reading the great reviews for this product on drugstore.com for a while before i decided to give in and buy it. i really like this stuff!i don't think my hair is noticeably more shiny, but it does look and feel smoother - very silky. it also seems like it takes less time to blow-dry my hair. this product keeps my hair looking like my hairdresser just blow-dried and styled my hair. and my hair looks that good all day.
i use 4 sprays from different angles while my hair is damp, and then after blow-drying i spray 2 more times and run my fingers through my hair to distribute the product. i think i probably use too much of this product at a time, but it doesn't weigh my hair down at all.
i think i will buy another bottle when this one runs out - even though i use up to 6 sprays each time i use it (every other day) it doesn't look like i'll be running out soon. oh, and the smell - personally i like it. yes, it smells masculine, but i only really smell it while i am spraying. once my hair is dry, i don't smell it at all.

I've been using this product for a few months now (It's lasting forever), and I love it, but I was thinking about it, and I really didn't know why. It does not really make my hair shinier, and it didn't make sense to keep using it but I loved it anyway. I finally figured out why, it's because it smells SO good. I love when my hair smells that way and THAT'S why I use it. I'm not too familiar with Rusk as a brand, so I don't know if it all smells like that, but I'll find out and experiment with other products that hopefully DO work.

This is currently one of my favorite products. It can be used before blow drying to get ridiculously silky hair or when its dry to add shine. It does not weigh done hair at all. And it has completely changed the condition of mine. Since I have begun using it every day, my hair is like silk. It does have that masculine smell that many Rusk products have and others have mentioned, but I personally quite like it. I also like the packaging-the spray delivers a very light mist. Will always have this product.

This stuff is fantastic. It is great when used before blowdrying. My dilemma was that I liked the feel of my hair after using serums but they were making my hair to flat and heavy. This product lets you keep some body but you still get managability and softness. I try to keep it away from the roots though. One lippie is away from five b/c there is alcohol in this product. UPDATE: I am still loving this but the smell does not totally dissipate and I can smell it a little all day.

I love this stuff! It's very light feeling not as heavy as Biosilk I love in humid south florida and normally frizzy curly hair is straight and frizzless..I just use it after I dry my hair

This is an HG product for me. A spritz on towel dried hair helps me to detangle and then another spirtz after blow drying leaves my hair very shiny. I'm on my 3rd bottle.

My hairdresser used this on my hair after cutting it and boy did it look great! Very weightless and it smelled nice too. My hair looked shiny and healthy without looking greasy. I will definitely be switching to this.

Just okay. Purchased when my store had run out of Biosilk Shine On spray, but was disappointed. Not as much shine as Biosilk. I will try the suggestion of using it before blow-drying and see if I can use up what is left.

Absolutely weightless, very fine mist. 2 or 3 squirts is all I need for my dry, highlighted, long hair. Gives a very nice finish on those days when your hair is done but needs a little shine, over light hold hair spray.

This is just an "OK" product in my
book. I have wavy, colored hair so it's hard to get a shine in it. I much prefer Rusk's sheer brilliance.

I must be crazy, but I main reaction to this product was: I HATE THE SMELL!! Overwhelms any fragrance you're wearing, scent lasts forever! Ok, as far as shine goes.

I've been using this stuff for 3 years and love it!! I love the smell which is similar to CK One as another reviewer before me had said. This stuff adds great shine and luster to hair. I spray it on after blowdrying and a little goes a long way! I will keep on using this because it is truly a great product.

My hairdresser turned me onto this stuff a couple years ago, and I haven't stopped using it since! My favorite thing about it is the fragrance, which is similar to CK One. Equally great is the price - I bought backup large bottle of it as a backup for when my first ran out at Trade Secret for $10, but I am still on my first bottle from over a year ago. A little spritz or two of this stuff goes a long way...I will either spray it over my head and let it "mist" down after I have blow dried my hair OR spray directly on my hands and rub thru the ends of my hair to tame flyaways and define layers. This stuff is also super when I wear my hair curly/wavy...I spritz some on for shine after applying other styling products. You can also spray it onto a comb or brush and pull that thru your hair for a super shiny look...just be careful cause too much of this and you WILL look greasy. If that happens you can always spray some Sebastian Dry Clean only onto your hair and counteract the problem :)

It does provide some shine, but it's way natural. Nothing super shiny. but then, it's a spray, not a gloss or serum. Good, but there are better choices.

I can't live without this. I have forever been searching for a great shiner/frizz tamer. And I love Shining. Sprayed onto my hair after blow drying, smoothes my frizz and makes my hair nice and healthy looking.
