I've had a tube of Mauvalous Mauve for 3 years or so. It's one of my favorite lip glosses. Never sticky, super moisturizing, gives a really nice color tint, and gives a nice shine. It has a smell but isn't unpleasant. I don't mind the applicator although sometimes the lipgloss separates (it's old now, but I've noticed this from the beginning) so I have to give it a good shake or clear liquid squirts out. This is my go-to gloss when I'm looking for a polished but not makeup-y look.

My favorite lip gloss. I have this in golden berry and plan on getting more. They feel so comfortable on the lips, very moisturizing and not sticky. This is the only lip gloss I'll wear in the winter, when the wind blows my hair doesn't get stuck to it, yay!! As for the color, golden berry is a warm medium pink, makes my lips look like I they have a natural pink flush. I misplaced this lipgloss and went mad looking for it for a month, that's how much I love it. The only thing I don't love is the applicator, which can make it go on a little gloppy at times. Otherwise, this lip gloss is worth every penny. I haven't found another one like it.

For the winter, very good lip gloss, not too glossy or shiny.
Again, it avoids the dreaded porno star look- you want to be professional looking, but not THAT profession, or the world's oldest profession- by being softly moisturizing, not mirror-like.
I like it in the Black Raspberry (subtle color enhancer/moisturizer) for day or in the Berry 1851 for a softly illuminating (not grossly sparkly, instead is professional looking).
Use it with a subtle liner - see my lip liner reviews.
PS husbands like soft lips, but don't like makeup; with this lip enhancer, we can both be happy! Twenty plus years and counting....

Love 'emB!!my faves are : berry 1851(superb!!) And golden berry, the only thing that I dislike is they are overpriced!I have overdried lips, usually I avoided lipsticks and some lipglosses also made my lips dried.this is the best so far,it's very moisturising,it feels like my lips being cured (I'm a lipgloss junkie, and I can say this is the best, wish that they are more pigmented)it tastes so delicous, very berry kinda thing.I would like to try black raspberry next time.

Love this lip gloss. I usually avoid lip glosses because they are too sticky, but this is beautiful and not sticky at all! It doesn't last all day (what does?) but feels great to apply and I don't mind doing it several times a day. I am NW20, med brown hair, and got the Earth Day color.

I love this lipgloss. I can never wear lipgloss as an everyday thing, because it feels like too much. But these are soooo moisturizing and they smell really good, like mangoes. And because they're so moisturizing, I feel ok rather than pretentious putting them on throughout the day. So now my lips are shiny and pretty. There's not too much color, quite subtle. These are perfect everyday lip glosses.
They're usually about $15 each, but they had a set with 3 for $30 that I got. It came with downtown peach (warm pink), french rose (very pale pink), and lights on broadway (light brown). I also really liked the new york nude color (subtle brown), I was going to buy that one before I saw the gift set.

I have this in Berry 1851, a true berry color without shimmer. I really think of these as more of a tinted lip balm than a true lipgloss. This is a good product for a natural everyday look. I love this color. It's enough to be noticeable and make me look finished, but no so much as to be overpowering when I'm wearing just a simple look. I took one lippie off as it doesn't contain SPF. It's not drying, but if you truly need a lot of moisture I would apply this over a lip balm. For reference, NC15 / BB Porcelain with pigmented lips / brown hair / brown eyes. I bought this at Nordstrom for $14.50.

My mentality on lip product is either fire-engine red OR chapstick. If I'm not doing a look-at-me lip, I'm probably just wearing some Rosebud Salve or licking my lips. I hate most lip glosses because they're sticky and usually end up drying my lips out, but I tried this out while waiting in line for my friend, and I was so delighted and pleased to find that this lip gloss is NOT sticky in any way. The consistency is extremely creamy and feels just like a good coating of lip balm. Has a strong apricot smell at first, but it goes away after a few minutes. The colors are more natural, but they have everything from pale pinks to bright berries. I do feel like it's hydrating, but it won't fix chapped lips. Girls who want a (more natural) pretty pout but without any goopiness, look no further!

I like this gloss well enough. It isn't sticky AT ALL which is a big plus. The colors are a little boring for me as a MAC girl, but they are nice enough for a causal look. The price is a little steep though for a squeeze tube gloss. The smell is nice, also. Good everyday lipgloss if your a natural girl, I only use mine here and there.

LOVE this - I have it in Earth Day (light coppery brown) and Downtown Peach. Both are very subtle shades that you can smear on without a mirror. The moisture lasts and lasts and I really like the angled applicator. This is a top favorite, even though it is pricey, it the tube lasts quite a while & hasn't gotten funky yet. Perfect for upcoming winter months....

I only tested this product at the makeup counter. had to smear it on my lips because too much had been squeezed out of the package. i think i tried downtown peach. LOVED IT! after a few hours, my lips felt better than it had ever felt under lipgloss!
definitely will purchase it n repurchase!

At first sniff, it smells WAY funky. But after a while you love the apricot scent. The colours are beautiful, not too pigmented for my liking. VERY creamy, has lasting power for around 2 hours. Costs quite a bit too. SGD$25, I bought it in downtown peach. LOVED IT. But LOST it too. BUT I'm going to repurchase. It's that good.

I LOVE this lip gloss. I bought it on a whim, and it's the best lip gloss I've used. It's moisturizing, stays on my lips and comes in great colors. I just wish it cost a little less.
Previously, I was devoted to C.O. Bigelow's lip glosses, but Kiehl's is far superior.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE LIP GLOSS!!! I got it in Clear and it goes with everything and can be layered over lip stick/liner. It has a light apricot smell that drives my boyfriend crazy. I love the packaging and everything else about this product.

I tried the lipgloss on a whim today when I wandered into Kiehl's. It is so moisturising and creamy! I really dislike sticky lip gloss (hate Lancome Juicy Tubes for this reason) and this is the least stick gloss I've found. I tried every colour in the store but really liked 'French Rose' - a slight pink colour, it just emphasises the natural colour of my lips. I also really like the scent - a slight apricot nectar smell, but not sickly sweet. The gloss also lasted a good length of time without wearing off. For $13.50, I think I've found my HG lipgloss.
(PS - the other terrific thing about Kiehl's is their willingness to give you samples - I have samples of their Abyssine serum and cream as well as body lotion so I can try them before outlaying any $$.)

received this as a xmas gift. i got the "clearly kiehl's" shade which is basically their clear lipgloss. love the texture, it's light and doesn't feel gooey at all. the scent is divine. it's a light fruity scent, but the gloss itself has no flavor. i would repurchase.
**EDIT: MAY 7, 2008** this does nothing for dry lips! i'm not even sure it has moisturizing properties as my crack, dried lips is just being highlighted by this goop of gloss.

I'm a huge fan of Kiehl's products, and this lip gloss is no exception. I love "Earth Day" - perfect peachy copper sheer gloss with tons of shine. The texture of these glosses is perfect - they aren't sticky like most of them. I would say they are comparable to the lip balm, but slightly less greasy feeling. Staying power is about the same as any gloss. Another thing I like about these are no strange flavors or scents that will leave an odd taste in your mouth. The gloss has a very light hint of scent, I can't determine what it is, but it is nice and light. Maybe orange floral? The colors are cute and the prices are reasonable. The tube is the same as the lip balm type tube, so great for a purse. Very happy with this product - yet another winner from Kiehl's - and I will definitely repurchase.

These are quickly becoming my favorite glosses. I have Pear Tree, Black Raspberry, Icy Everest, and Pink Rider so far. I LOVE the texture of them. They are silky, and NOT sticky at all. The scent it great too. I think the price is great for the amount you get too.

I had heard raves about Kiels. So I bought their Lip Gloss in "Earth Day" in the tube. Love the packaging. Loved the color. Price was okay.
First thing I noticed is that it "goops" onto the lips. Be careful when applying so that you don't over paint or go over your lip line. The texture is a bit odd and doesn't spread that evenly until you get the hang of it. And? You have to frequently re-apply as it comes off quickly.
But I do love the color.
Then I noticed that my lips were getting chapped/burned with skin peeling and flaking off. I couldn't believe it. It's been 2 days since I've used the product and my lips are no longer reacting this way. They had reacted this way to the Bare Escentuals Buzz Latte Lip Balm as well - so I'm thinking there is a shared ingredient in these 2 products that is harmful to my lips.
Sadly I cannot purchase it again even though I love the color. But it also is fairly goopy and hard to apply properly and THAT I will not miss.
