I love the price! I hate buying brushes because most of the time I would feel like a sucker, buying a brush for $50 US or more! So definitely, the price is great. The quality of the brush is very good, very soft. It evenly applies my eyeshadow. The only teeny problem I have with it is that I wish it was just a smidge narrower. I have asian eyes so sometimes, with really dark shades, I fear I apply too much if I'm not too careful with this brush.
This doesn't stop me from loving it, though! I definitely recommend it!

I thought this brush was too floppy. It did not apply eyeshadow evenly. It was very inexpensive, and is well constructed, but even art store brushes are way superior.

The local drugstore had a few of these lying around, and at $8.27 CAD each, I couldn't resist picking one up (and I was in need of a good eyeshadow brush anyway). The handle is the right length, and the bristles are a right mix of soft & firm. It picks up shadow easily and it's a dream to blend with this brush. All in all the quality is exceptional at this price. If you need a simple, basic eye shadow brush, look this one up.

Why didn't I grab another one when I saw a pile of them in the clearance bin?? For a d/s brush this is truly great. Firm and fluffy. Great for wash or even crease when held on it's side. Has great 'snap' so it applies firmly without flopping around and you get a better colour payoff with your shadows.
Not sure why, but L'Oreal brushes tend to appear and disappear at random in Canada... only making an appearance with maybe one colour story a year. There is no permanent place for them in the display. I'd really like to get my hands on more of them. The look pretty cool too, with brushed gold metal and clear smoked handles.

A medium size fluffy eyeshadow brush that funcions well to apply base shades, both for pressed and loose eyeshadows. It shed a few times, but holds up will to repeated cleanings. You can't beat the price either. The handle is the perfect length. Too bad there isn't a crease brush available.

This is a great brush. Soft, yet firm bristles that blend nicely. Love the size of the head...I find many brushes to be either too small or big, and this seems just right for me. Love the the handle also. For the price, this was a super buy!

This is best drugstore shadow brush I've bought so far and ironically it was only a LE thing where I am. The shadow brush has soft bristles that are dense enough to pick up the right amount of pigment to use and it swept the colour on evenly for me. The handle isn't too long which makes it easy to hold and it hasn't shed once in the time I've been using this. It's a little too big/fluffy for precise work which doesn't bother me b/c I use it to apply a wash over my lid or to blend which does the job well. If L'Oreal's other brushes are like this I will probably pick them up too if given the chance.

Oh wow! what a great brush. What makes it such a great brush? well... It's soft, blends e/s well, handle isn't too long, doesn't shed, and affordable. About the e/s thing... well it's a little big especially for my asian eyes, so i use this for a lid/blending brush instead, u can also use this as a highlighter brush. It really is an all purpose brush. This was a LE for canada but it's permanent in the US line, so maybe i'll take a trip down there if i need another one. hee, plz check this one out ladies.

I'm a brush junkie, too -- and have cause to regret many $20+ purchases. I own a ton of major $$$ brand brushes, but these are the ones I reach for the most. I also prefer L'Oreal's lipbrush to any other brand, except for the short LORAC brush that came with the Pro 9 Lip Palette.

I agree with Kealoha. This brush DOES rival some of MAC's brushes. Specifically #217. Made of natural hairs this brush is stiff enuf for blending lines and small enuf so that you don't end up blending all the shadows together. Mine doesn't shed and it comes packaged in a durable plastic sleeve. Picked this up for only $7.95 instead of $19 for #217. Great find.

I was so excited to find this in stock at CVS after reading the rave review in Lucky magazine. It certainly looks spiffy and I had high hopes for the quality. But I found the bristles a bit too stiff and the brush picked up and deposited colour lightly and unevenly compared with my Sonia Kashuk medium e/s brush. It's got a larger, flatter and less chiselled head than the SK brush and doesn't work as well for more money. This is going right back.

I am a cosmetic brush junkie - I admit it here for all the MUA world to see. I was looking over cosmetics at my local drugstore and happened upon a few new cosmetic brushes by L'Oreal. I don't remember L'Oreal selling brushes at all before. I don't care much for drugstore brand brushes for the most part. I was really torn between trying a taklon concealor brush or this eye shadow brush. The prices for both were similar ($7-$9) and I settled on the eye shadow brush after deciding the 4 taklon concealing brushes I already have would have to do. This is a nice brush. The bristles are soft but not wishy washy. It is a nice size and shape and (my biggest pet peeve) the handle is not too long. I hate long handled cosmetic brushes - I can't control them. This is a really good brush especially considering the price and that L'Oreal is just dipping it's toes into the brush business. I would not hesitate to recommend this brush to my fellow cosmetic brush junkies.
