Chanel Allure pour homme exudes class and elegance. This is a men's fragrance, but without some of the strong, forceful harshness given off by many colognes; it retains a subtle, quiet femininity to it. (Note that I am not entirely opposed to strong men's fragrances. I'm a fan of Kouros, TdH, A*Men, Drakkar Noir, etc.) Allure is not boring or dull. Rather, it is bright and crisp, while maintaining a high level of sophistication. The bright, citrusy opening gives way to a peppery middle, which in turn gives way to a spicy, creamy base. This is the stuff I'd want to wear while drinking champagne, since the color and smell reminds me of it.
For me, this is more suited to wear during the day from spring to early summer. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend is on his second (or is it third?) bottle of Allure, it is an amazing scent, it drives me crazy!! Not sure of the price as he buys it himself!

MmmHmm. This is one fine fragrance. I love it, but not as much as the Egoistes...this is still (*sigh*) dreamy & sensuous. He's got it anyway, but this certainly does do the trick, effortlessly in that very Chanel way. Manly, and earthy but clean (ie, not earthy-dirty [ick]). Sold. Again.

I LOVE this fragrance!!! Bought it for my DH to wear as an everyday scent and I find myself sniffing the bottle when he's not around. Classy and clean and sexy. My favorite men's cologne by far. Just yummy. I wish I liked the feminine Allure fragrance as well as this one.

i wish i were a man just so i could wear cologne...perfume stinks, cologne smells like heaven. i picked up a bottle today for my bf for christmas. this stuff is amazing. i had 5 test strips in my hand, let them all dry for about 10 minutes, closed my eyes and picked one, i had to have this! THIS STUFF IS AMAZING, VERY ALLURING. :) (i wonder if he'll feel that way about the allure perfume on me...hmmm)

I love this on my son, who normally wears Hugo Boss fragrances. Sophisticated, classy, clean. I want to hug him all the time just so I can smell this. Better run out and buy some for the DH!!!

Delicious, unoffensive scent. This review is for the after shave moisturizer, but I believe it's close to my test of the EDT. On first sniff, it bears good similarity to the feminine fragrance with a blend of spices, bergamot and sweetness. However, it has a more musky tone to it and has enough woody notes to make it masculine. I'd actually see myself using this aftershave balm or the fragrance itself since I like a stronger character and presence to my fragrances.
On the final part of the drydown, for some reason, the blend of musk and slight spiciness vaguely reminded me of something Hugo would make - namely Deep Red. Maybe the woods?

raves. when i was in college studying filmmaking, i worked as the editor on one of my friend's projects. we would meet up for editing sessions and he'd always be wearing this brown chenille scarf that smelled sooo good (he would joke about me always wanting to sniff it). one day i noticed a bottle of allure homme sticking out of one of the pockets of his backpack... i was hooked.

Lawd have mercy! This stuff is sexy, smells devine on a guy... but I think it's good for evenings... it's too sexy and would be distracting for a man to wear at work. I can't describe the smell, but it's another one of those totally addicting smells.

This smells exactly like Huge Boss' Number 6, but without the sweetness. It's great, but unoriginal and uninspiring. It's a very safe fragrance to wear to work. I was amazed at the striking similarities between Boss and this--my guess is Hugo Boss copied it, or maybe it's sheer coincidence both fragrances are clones of one another.

This is a clean, sophisticated, sexy scent for a guy. Professional enough for work, but sexy enough to make the ladies melt. I'm not sure if I'd buy this for my hubby though since he's already got a "clean & sophisticated" fragrance, but we'll see.

Allure Pour Homme is one of my favourite mens' colognes and because the scent is so warm, it's especially nice to wear during wintertime. Slightly musky, very sexy and alluring (of course!)... I find it definitely has aphrodisiac qualities!

Wow, All I can say is wow! I bought this for my husband this past valentines day. I love Allure perfume, so I figuered, what the heck. OMGosh, it's fresh, clean, slightly spicy and super sexy. My husband's neck was always a favorite place of mine, but now even more so. ;)

I bought this for my ex-SO several years ago and he really liked it. Well so did his dad b/c he kept stealing it from him and he ended up having to buy one for his father. It smelled sooo good on him ... its a soft scent but still sexy at the same time. Would purchase again as a gift.
