My Pimples are not big just small lumps with red area just in a certain area, its like i'm growing a mini city on my face, i don't even know what my pimples are called (if you know what they're called from the description above please let me know). Using Phisophex for more than 2 week nows and i don't really see a different i just like it because theres not scent to it.

I had the worse pimples ever when i went back to my country for a holiday which has a very hot temperature that can melt you, and that's where all my pimples started to come out. I tried clearasil, it did work for a bit but it just makes it all reddish, and also tried a few products but it just made it all worse, then i did a research about this. And ive been only using it for a week, it is just shocking, woke up one morning and my face is cleared out!, it's the cheapest and great product you could ever use for infected acnes! :D so thanks for phisohex for making my face back to normal clean face again!

THIS IS THE SHIT. I suffered the worst skin you can possibly imagine for over a decade, tried everything OTC, prescription, you name. Proactive did jack shit. Acutane helped but it still didn't go away.... then I saw a different dermatologist who scribed me this and OH MY GOD. I wanna buy 100 in case it ever goes off the market. Will combat the worst acne, though as such it can leave skin kinda dry, but nothing a simple moisturizer can't handle. This is NOT for the everyday casual user, this is for people who have real problems with their skin. I love it because you get a TON for like 22 bucks- it lasts me almost half a year. Helps that you only need a tiny bit. Will repurchase until I die or until it stops production.

I have OCD and constantly pick my skin- especially my face. This has been going on since I was 15, the spots obviously got a lot worse as I kept picking my skin. Now I am 20 and have big trouble trying to make it better. I have used Proactive (for 6 months), been on 3 different types of the pill including YAZ (over 5 years), used antibiotics, all sorts of over the counter products (and also the weird stuff like porridge on my face, or honey etc) and then whacked on moisturiser/makeup over top because I am embarassed about it which seems so stupid but I felt self conscious (like anybody cares though!), NONE of that did any good. All Proactive did was make my face worse and bleach my new towels. All the organic facial product did was cause infection. All the pill did was make me ANNGRY, and pimply too. And all of it was too expensive to not be working. I am not RICH!! Anyway I bought Phisohex on Sunday for $8.50 in the tiny IGA up the road because the white bottle stood out and I am all for basic packaging. I stopped wearing my concealer (which was advertised to cover up and FIX spots: SUCKER) and today is Tuesday, I feel a zillion times BETTER! I put my hair up because I am not trying to hide the feral skin on my forehead, I had breakouts on my chest, my neck and my T zone and they had turned scabby and yuck, and you just CAN'T hide that unless you want to wear a paper bag on your head, which I wanted to!!! And now I feel so much cleaner, my spots haven't all gone away but I couldn't expect that from anything. Anyway motto of the story is: the cheapest product with the least amount of advertising was the best. Oh it burns a tad but I love the burn!!! I figure it's just killing the bad guys on my skin! Woooohoo for Phisohex!!!!

Love this product! I had been using main brand face cleansers for such a long time but none of them did anything for me until I found this! Very basic cheap and it works!

I really hate to be the one to lower the rating for this product, but as much as I wanted to love it - my skin just does not like this stuff! My cheeks literally feel as if they are burning after every use (regardless of the amount that I use) so after attempting a few times I just gave up. I now use it to wash my hands prior to cleansing. Will not be repurchasing.

Pros:
- Does not strip moisture off skin
- Non-soap

Cons:
- Burns my skin (my skin isn't normally sensitive... but I could be wrong)
- Doesn't come with a pump dispenser
- Slightly expensive

I suffer from eczema and pimple breakouts most of the time more so eczema so I was a bit hesitant to try this product out cause after using benzac (another pimple fighting face wash) it really dried out my skin therefore was a big no no for my eczema, but this product is pretty good. I’ve been using this product for about two weeks and I can already see a difference in my skin, my white heads and heat bumps have almost all disappeared and I only get one or two pimples at a time now. Also the product does not dry out my skin at all ! Really recommend for people with dry/sensitive skin to try it out

I love this product! I've used higher end products like clinique and shiseido but they were nothing compared to this! I found that my face tends to break out with higher ended products but with phisoex my skin is improving for not just pimples but heat bumps too. I also used this for my back, as the packaging says, use 3 times daily. I used this once a day, in the shower for a period of 2 weeks+ and already I noticed that my back acne was improving dramatically.

OMG this product is AAMMMMAAAZZZINNGG!!! I have suffered from breakout for many years now and I have tried every product out there from well advertised proactiv to high end products such as chanel and YSL. All those products were average and not the greatest. A little details about my skin, I constantly break out on the chin area and cyst on my cheeks with oil slick on my t-zone ewww horrible. I tried this product with no expectations at all thinking its cheap and ive never heard of it. Lucky i did though this has helped my crazy breakout heaps. My cystic acne would reduce in size fairly quickly and i noticed less breakouts on my chin area. The down side to it i feel it does not clean so well especially with me wearing heavy foundation to cover my blemishes so i would follow up with kiehls astringent and aveda moisturizer. I definitely do recommend this product but use it wisely dont over pack it and dont leave it on your face for more the 15 seconds i felt it was a little irritating. Also I read its not good to use it for a long period of time as it can absorb through your skin and can be toxic, I dont know a little crazy I say, so I'm still trying to look for my everyday cleanser but definitely this will always be my go-to cleanser for those pesky breakouts. Best of luck :)

Amazing product! When my skin broke out mid 2011 I initially tried the Acne.org regimen, various drugstore acne treatments, oral antibiotics, even the pill. But nothing seemed to work on my acne, in fact it made it worse. After around 4 months my doctor asked me to book an appointment with the dermatologist so I could get roacutane. I have to wait another 3 months before I could get into an appointment, so in the mean time I stopped all of my other treatments both topical and oral, and just used the Phisohex Antibacterial Skin Wash with a regular Dermaveen moisturiser with SPF15+. After just 1 month my pimples were completely gone! The scarring was still there, but I can say that now, 4 months later (and a cancelled dermatologist appointment later), I have clear, smooth skin and have had literally only 2 pimples since it has cleared up. This is defiantly worth a try, and at around $10.00 a bottle (in Australia for 200mL) this is not a product that will break the bank! As on now, I have just finished my third glycolic treatment out of six for the scarring and remnants from my acne is almost non-existent. No dermatologist, no medication, no peeling/pain! Phisohex is amazing!

Wonderful, wonderful product.

Long story short...a particular contraceptive pill left me with disgusting hormonal cystic acne all over my facee. I tried everything, I saw doctors and dermatologists and nothing was working- my face was completely revolting. Finally, I walked into my local pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist. He recommended a cetaphil moisturiser, oxy5 spot lotion and this wonderful face wash.

My skin has gone from acne ridden to clean, pimple free and balanced. I use this twice a day, morning and night. If I can be bothered, I follow the bottle and wash, re wash etc but I don't follow the bottle religiously.

Yes, sometimes it stings a little. Yes, I use a thick night cream which would combat any dryness. So yes, it may be a little harsh and it may be a little drying. But honestly, this face wash is worth it. I have literally been pimple free since I began using it. And, it's cheap! I've never bought it for more than $12.99 (AUD) but I usually get it for around $8.00 (AUD).

As for the toxic chemicals.... My mother was told to use this wash (by midwifes) on my sister when she had a skin infection as a baby, and she's grown into a perfectly healthy woman. I have gotten it in my eyes before accidently, yes it stings, but it hasn't blinded me yet!

I seem to be the only reviewer that hasn't had the best luck with this product :( I used it once a day in the evening on my face for about 4 days (I didn't wash twice, 3 times a day as the bottle indicates). Unfortunately my sensitive skin didn't like this (even at this minimal amount of use) and I broke out in dermatitis. Luckily I didn't use it as much as the bottle indicates or I would have been a red tomato :( As far as helping with pimples, I noticed a slight improvement even at my minimal use. Now it is getting used up as a back wash (trying to clear up the pimples there - ugh). I have only noticed again a very slight improvement after 8 days of using in the evening (I don't have time to wash 3 times a day twice each time!! and I am just too scared to use it anymore for fear it breaks me out in dermatitis there. So unfortunately for me, this was too harsh for my face skin, be aware if you have sensitive skin and want to give this a go. Going to try the age old salt water now :)

I bought this for my bf by recommendation from the pharmacist for $10 because Gamophen wasn't available, so I gave it a try. I have very sensitive combination skin and needed it due to a pimply outbreak I had from a clay mask. I've used it only twice (washing once the 1st time, and twice the second time but found twice way too harsh) along with my new Clinique regime, and it worked wonders!

Unfortunately it was too good to be true when I researched into it's ingredients which are highly toxic and potentially fatal. I suggest only using this as a spot treatment or once every few weeks where necessary. I'm now using tea tree oil as a spot treatment, works just as well if not better, I'll only keep Phisohex for those emergencies.

Great for controlling breakouts, and is not very drying. Tastes awful, so avoid your mouth, LOL. I'm not entirely sure on the price of this, as it was covered by Indian Affairs, but I don't believe it's very expensive at all. I pair this with my Neutrogena moisturizer and clindoxyl gel and my acne has calmed down a LOT. will repurchase =)

Works well to prevent pimples. From previous reviews it would seem important NOT to stop using it.

I find it foams okay and it rinses off well.

It may leave my face a bit dry, but that could be because of the acne treatment products I use.

Phisohex is one of those fantastic products which is often overlooked due to its low price point and spartan packaging. This is a shame; because it really does a great job of cleansing your skin and not drying it out. My doctor actually told me that this originally was only used in hospitals - its THAT good! For this to work effectively I do believe in following the instructions on the bottle - wash hands with it, wash face, repeat. I like the smell - not fussy, simple and clean. It really does leave you with clean skin without any residue or left over gunk that some cleansers have. However, I would not rely on Phisohex on its own if I had moderate to severe acne - you definitely need to be using something stronger. I personally enjoy using this product in the summer because it seems to keep my skin from being so oily - in the winter perhaps I would use a heavier cleanser....but now I'm not so sure...I think I'll just stick with Phisohex from now on!! Easy, Simple, Perfect.

I love this, don't get me wrong.
I strated using this about 1 year ago and it cleared up my face so well. I got sick of it after a while and switched to noxzema. It really worked but I got sick of that one too because it didn't take away my acne :/ I went back to phisohex and it just doesn't work for me anymore like it did before D: I have switched to Clean and Clear's Continuous Control Acne Cleanser and I hope that works.
But as for Phisohex, it's good if you don't stop using it.

I've used PHisohex for about 4 months now. The most important thing to note about the product is: IT WILL NOT DRY YOUR SKIN OUT. Now I may repeat that again somewhere else in this review because I don't believe that anyone can really understand how amazing that is. After using a Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash which turned my skin to a dry flakey, tight cling-film wrap looking mess this stuff made it all better. I was sick of trying products that were for oily or acne prone skin (which i have, or had - not anymore thanks to this product! :) ) that were far too harsh with massive scrub beads or foamed up too much. (I hate foam, it indicated how harsh the chemicals are in the product, and will laugh at anyone who writes a bad review based on the lack of foam in a product...)

So anyway, I bought this product online at a pharmacy website I believe on a whim, and it turned out great. Even if you don't like it I don't beleive that this product could do any lasting damage to your skin, and for me it really has control over my acne. (My pimples are te kind where one comes every week and they are HUGE, so it looks really dumb and is impossible ot cover with makeup)

I do wish there were more than 11 other reviews on this product at this time as it's really a great product.

i LOVE this!
i never had really bad skin, not in comparison to some people. but i was never happy with my skin. at a good time there would be at least one pimple on my face but at bad times i would have more. my skin frustrated me as it was not clear like i wanted it to be and it was not so bad that i could go on some pill or complain to people about it much. My friend, who had quite bad skin, had recently seen a dermatologist and was recommended phisohex. after only a few weeks i began to notice a difference in her skin and soon enough it was amazing! so i decided to give it a try. after the first wash i knew that this would be the face wash for me and i new that it would work and soon enough i too began to see amazing results. now my skin is clear and i only get the rare pimple that soon goes away. i have never been happier with my skin!
the only thing is that the face wash does not foam like normal cleansers so it does not feel like it is actually cleaning ur face, but trust me IT IS!
over all BUY THIS PRODUCT! it is cheap and amazing and i would recommend it to anyone!!!

This works great, sadly it doesn't foam so I can't see it working. But I love the smell of it, smells very anti-bacterial. :] It does clean the skin, makes it feel smooth and I haven't had any acne since I've used it. I rarely have pimples, but I get the few, but since using this it's gone.
