I can't believe I've never reviewed this gem as I've been using it for years. I have tried many other clay masks from high end to drug store, but always go back to this old and faithful friend. It's so inexpensive, but does an amazing job of sucking up oil, removing the gunk from my pores, and leaving my skin feeling amazingly smooth and soft without irritating my skin.

Ingredients:
Water, Kaolin, Glycerin, Bentonite, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Dimethicone, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Limonene Blue 1, Caffeine, & Ginkgo Bilaba Leaf Extract.

I would not say this mask is great nor terrible. The price is just reasonable anyway. I use this twice a week, and it does make my skin firm. It's very easy to apply and dries quickly. It's a good try.

I don't feel like this is a really great mask, although it's not terrible either. I still prefer Noxzema masks. The price was alright, but the result wasn't amazing; pretty much what I'd expect from a good toner. I didn't feel that it made my skin firmer, although it did tighten my pores. It smells nice and it dries quickly, very wearable. It's worth a try, I'd say, if you're thinking about it.

I have not figured out what this product does for me, after going through 1/3 of the tube. I have acne-prone combination skin with stubborn blackheads, and I did not find this product to be deep cleaning or minizing pores or reducing blackheads. It is called firming mask, yes, when the clay dries on my face it feels VERY firm, but besides that I didn't notice visible effects. I'm not using it any more because it does not seem to do anything to my skin. My daily routine of a good facial wash + moisturizer does a lot more.

I like this stuff. Mine is so old I have the tub with the green bottom that's larger than the darker green top. (The scrub now comes in a tub that's a uniform cylinder throughout. This is even older!!!) A little really goes a long way. I don't use it often but when I do, I wet either the wall or a fan brush and use that to collect the product and brush it on my face. It is thick. But I think it works. Sometimes you see the little pore areas that stay darker because it's attempting to dry them out. I do sometimes pop blackheads after the fact. I don't know if it's because it brings them up or because I'm always doing that (so bad, I know). I also have the AHAVA mask and it's ok too, but so expensive. I think this works better in that neither really fully clears blackheads (you can't expect that I don't think) but this tightens more and that helps prevent wrinkles but I don't feel over dried from this. I also tried the Origins one once and I did like it. But only had a sample. Like I said, I think this is pretty much on par and it's cheaper. I also like Montagne Jeunesse. Those are cheap and available most places.

This stuff is amazing and the only mud mask that works for me. If I get a massive, painful pimple that refuses to budge, putting this on it for 20minutes or so pretty much guarantees things will come to a head within 12 hours (pun intended). This is also the reason I avoid using it close to events, because it draws out everything. I find if I get into the habit of using it once or twice a week on my t zone, my complexion quickly improves and my skin feels much softer and more refined. Best of all, it's cheap. It can be a bit drying, but it is a mud mask so that's to be expected.

I can't feel much effect with this product. I usually expect clay mask to deep-cleanse and control oiliness of skin. It's like one of those products where it just does nothing to your skin. Maybe it's because I don't have too much skin problem so I can't tell how effective this product is. Either way I think I'll still repurchase this if I need a cheap clay mask.

I love how this makes my skin feel. My face feels smooth and clean after using this mask. However, when I wake up the next day, I would have about 5 whiteheads on my face. It's really sad that this breaks me out. Now I don't know what to use the whole tube for...

I really like this product. I have to admit though that at the same time I started using this, I also started using an aspirin mask. One of these treatments or maybe the combination of the 2 has made a dramatic difference. My skin is much firmer. The mask is not drying to my skin and when I follow with a good quality serum, my skin feels wonderful.

HATE! This product is too thick and really tight when dry. Not only did it make my face super dry, but it made my nose break out for days! I had to use my Neutrogena RapidClear (works wonders) for 3 days! I will NEVER buy this again! I'm sticking to my Olay scrub!

Best cheap clay mask on the shelves. I have combination skin so I only use it on my chin and nose. It works wonders to control my oiliness and reduces the number of blackheads. I've experienced less breakouts since using it and I don't have to blot my face as often. I use it twice a week and spot treat stubborn blackheads or pimples. It doesn't firm anything up but is great at clearing the skinof impurities. It spreads easily and doesn't have a weird smell.

Pros:
- FANTASTIC blackhead remover. You can see little black dots forming on the mask as
it dries- this is the mask sucking all the dirt out of your pores! I love being able to see it.
It's disgusting but so refreshing at the same time.
- Creamy application
- No offensive smell
- Feels nice and tight when dry
- Removes well with warm water


Cons:
- Didn't really see any physical change in 'firming'
- Friend tried it out and it made her face all red and irritated after


Overall:
I love it because it's so great with blackhead removal. If anything I will keep this and
continue to use it just for my nose.

Broke me out every day after I used it. Grrrr! I really wanted to like it. I wanted to believe that it was really sucking the bacteria out of my face, but it was really adding to it. Grr.

I have had this product for quite some time. I picked it up on a whim at Walmart for about $3.00 (CAN) and thought well if it completely sucks it was only 3 bucks. What a pleasant surprise! This is a very good mask for the price point. I use it for deep cleaning and not for daily use. I find it does a great job of cleaning out my pores and minimizing the appearance of pores and a very good job of deep cleansing overall.
Firming...not so much. I feel the mask tightening my skin etc but I feel all masks do this and the effect is extremely temporary.
Overall an excellent product for the price point and would buy again. I would not recommend this for daily use (well at least not if you have sensitive skin). I personally feel it is too harsh for daily use.
I have sensitive skin and do feel a bit of something, not sure how to describe it, it is a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable when I use it.

i bought this after reading good reviews, how it tightens pores etc. i want to like it, BUT this stuff breaks me out! totally...break...me...out, every single time i use it! i guess every skin have different reactions, and my skin rejects this mask. i will NEVER use it anymore and i think i'll give mine to someone.

Do you have blackheads? Readness? Or fine lines? THIS IS FOR YOU! My best friend and I leave this on for HOURS (package says only leave on for 15 mins) but the longer you leave it on, the more oil and gunk it absorbs! ITS GREAT! When you take it off, blackheads, readness and fine lines will be reduced (with frequent use), you will LOVE IT! The best part in my opinion is the fact its so comfortable! You dont feel like you are wearing a face mask, unlike Freeman Feeling Beautyful Lemon Facial Mask... If you compare, you will notice the quality the few extra bucks can buy you. Happy Masking!

ON HOW AMAZING THIS FACE MASK IS!
Okay, first of all, I rated this a 5/5 because I use it almost every night!!! I know it says to keep it on for about 15 minutes, but I leave it on for hours and let it absorb and cleanse my oily skin! It tightens up on your skin, cleans your pores and even dries out pimples and blackheads on your skin! It smells so natural and you don't need much to feel the remarkable effects of this face mask. It's really and I mean REALLY great to put on after a long sweaty, greasy, and stressful day at high school after a test or exam. I feel so refreshed afterwards! I recommend this to everyone. It's like St. Ives went to a high end spa, captured the air there, mixed it with a little drop of heaven and then blended all that with natural clay!!! PLEASE get this because it's such a great product and lasts sooooo long...even for me...and I use it A LOT. Uh-huh. This is truly a FACE-tastic product ;) !

I heard about this product from a friend. Upon reading the reviews, I decided to purchase it.

PROS:
-It makes my skin feel so smooth and soft afterwards. But it's only a temporary effect.
-I love the smell! So relaxing :)
-I use it as a spot treatment for my pimples. It draws out the pimple faster than just letting it off alone.
CONS
-It doesn't have any visible permanent results on my skin.

I bought this after seeing it being reviewed on the Dr. Oz show as one of the "best anti-aging products under $5." He was explaining how it helps to tighten your skin so that it reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I'm not going to comment on that because I do not have wrinkles, but I would like to prevent them - lol.


I'm just gonna comment on how this stuff just absorbs the oil right up and away! I started out using this once a week on Sundays. It feels like a Sunday product. Now that it's summer and my face is getting hot and sweaty out in the sun, I have been using this a little more frequently. Maybe twice a week now. You only need a thin layer. After removing, there is a very noticable difference. My skin does feel tight and smooth, too. I let my mom use this and she really likes it as well. 5/5 from both of us.
