i bought this on sale at sephora. nars can't go wrong with lip color! this color is so versatile because you can wear it more sheer and you can layer it on for a deeper plum color. it's not so dark were you look like a goth but it's edgy enough for everyday. the lasting power is great, but it's a lip gloss so we can't expect all day wear.

I'm afraid NARS can do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to lip color and stella is no exception. This color would probably flatter any skin tone. It's not too dark where you look gothic but it's just enough to be edgy. Think more along the lines of a berry-plum shade. Like the other lip glosses, it glides on really well and stays put for at least a good couple hours.
It's on sale right now at sephora for $10!!! Get em while you still can. Highly recommend this color for anyone that wants to take a break from pinks and nudes.

This is one of my favorite glosses. I can use this color on almost anyone and it looks like a glossy slightly berry natural lip. Definitely much more dramatic on the very fair skinned but still pretty. I use a lot of NARS products and I have noticed that the texture of this particular shade is different from all of the others. Granted NARS carries different formulations of glosses....most are either thicker less shiny or higher shine and slightly less thick. Stella is neither...it is thinner/less sticky than the rest and much shinier...which I like and dislike. I love the extra shine, however, I do notice it needs to be applied more often than the other NARS shades as it wears off quicker due to the thinner consistency. Still this is one of my favorites!

My very first NARS product! I love Stella! Just the right shade for me. It's kind of a more intense version of my own lip color - a fairly berry red. Wonderful texture that is not sticky at all (a big plus), great pigmentation, and a light shine.
The only thing I don't like is the price. $24 is pricey for a lip gloss. I do love it though. Darn. This is my first and only one, so we'll see how long I can make it last. I haven't had to reapply very much, so one application does last. We'll see...

I just bought this today... I went shopping with the criteria of:
1) wearable everyday without being boring
2) not sticky/tacky
3) enhances my lips without being glittery
The gloss meets all of those! It is on the pricey side but I love the way it looks, like other people have said it is like your own lip colour but better. For reference I am NC-40, and while my lips are somewhat pigmented, the colour is not so sheer that the unevenness shows through. I'm taking this overseas with me and plan on wearing it all the time!

I'll add to the praise here. Nars glosses are real quality, so the price never bothers me (I'm used to buying chanel and dior lip products anyway). Stella is a beautiful, soft color. I am a red lip type girl, but this is great for when I wear bold eye color or just want to be more low key. Never fear, it is not sheer, but it's not like "POW!" either, It enhances your natural beauty. Thumbs up all the way.

HG lipgloss for me, my total MLBB gloss! I have very pigmented lips, i'm nc30, and this looks amazing on me! I love it. The shimmer isn't garish or obvious. Nars glosses, as always, are very moisturizing and long lasting. The color is a raspberry sheer red pink with very tiny sparklies. The exact color of my lips, but better :).

This is my HG gloss. I think this color isn't orangy at all. It's quite a coraly dark pink. Maybe it looks odd on other people but my friend and I, who both have medium complexions with warm undertones and moderately pigmented lips, thought this was the best color NARS had! It is absolutely stunning. My favorite color. In fact, I have TWO.
It stays on for a really long time, the micro glitter is a really pretty pink as well but it's not overpowering. The gloss is EXTREMELY shiny so as it fades it still leaves a glimmer on. It goes on very smooth. The smell is a bit funky tho, but that doesn't particularly bother me.

Love this lip gloss! It's my HG color that I can wear with full makeup or without any makeup. My lips are already very pigmented, and with this on, it's MLBB. I love that this gloss isn't super shiny or sticky like other glosses out there. It has a smooth consistency similar to lipstick. You just can't beat the quality of NARS products. Will be buying this gloss until they stop making it (heaven forbid!)

I've been on the search for a new HG lipgloss and this is it. I usually stay away from NARS l/g because they're too sticky/tacky for me and not glossy enough. This however, is a great MLBB color and I love the fact that I can wear it on a bare face. It's not too sticky and has just enough shine, but nothing obnoxious. I wear Bobbi Brown's Tinted moisturizer in Medium for reference. My lips are already slightly pigmented so this lip gloss highlights that and makes them look fuller. Love it!

I like Nars lipglosses. I can put with the slight lipstick taste as they are non-sticky and not too shiny. they contain a lot of pigment. Stella is a beautiful just bitten my lips colour that is very MLBB. It is a rose/brown/pink that looks really natural and enhances my own lip colour. I will repurchase.

I have it. I love it. It looks great. Feels great on. Fun to reapply. I can wear it when the rest of my face is bare. It's a muted plummy brown. It's a little more pink than Stolen Kisses and definitely more slippery than Butterfield 8 Lip Lacquer.

This gloss is so lovely - I can't believe how great it makes my lips look! Stella is a soft and warm pinky-berry colour with a delicate wash of shimmer that is barely noticeable, but enough to make my lips look shiny. I was initially quite surprised with the formula of this gloss (my first NARS one), as it does not make lips look glossy in the traditional 'Juicy Tube' way, but has a finish like a moisturising lipstick. I'm not complaining though, because I have realised that this colour probably wouldn't look as good on me (I'm a brunette PPP) if it was super-glossy. Its staying power is better than the average gloss too, and the lack of fragrance/flavour means that I resist licking it all off! I would buy Stella again, and I am so impressed with my first NARS lip gloss that I will definitely be purchasing other colours from the range.

I love the look of lipgloss, but I find that most are very goopy and sticky. I was pleasantly surprised with this lipgloss, as it is very smooth and silky on my lips. Plus it's just a wonderful color! I was so happy with this gloss that I went out and bought the combo pack at Sephora with the Orgasm Blush/Laguna bronzer duo and Orgasm lip gloss. However I was very disappointed because the Orgasm lip gloss was TERRIBLY sticky. It must be because Orgasm has more of a shimmer. I would buy Stella again, but test other colors before buying them.

I love this color and the feel of this gloss. It's pretty expensive, but I buy anything called Stella. It's my favorite name. Lucky for me, this is a lovely gloss. I wear it all the time. It's a perfect naturally pretty color for me (pale redhead). The packaging and wand are also good.

This is exactly the colour of my lips, which are naturally pigmented. Needless to say, this gloss was a bit useless for me. Also, I find that it gives a greasy lip look rather than glossy shine.

This is a lovely gloss, the color is a soft raspberry, very sexy. It works for day or night, and whether the rest of your face is made up or not. It's one those glosses I tend to reach for most often, it's very flattering (im NW20, but i think this would be beautiful on warm complexions as well)

YLBB! I have nicely pigmented lips, but this adds just a hint more color and enough shine to look classy without looking cartoonish. (Just not a fan of that super-super-super high-gloss plastic look a la Paris Hilton.) Maybe my perfume covered the scent because I don't smell anything wrong with it at all, or maybe I'm just used to bad scents a la DiorKiss in "Lychee Rose."
I'd been oogling this forever and I finally bought it today. It's not too sticky, just right, and it's really nice on. :)
Me: FFF, highlighted auburn hair, brown eyes.

I just love this gloss! It is a nice, sheer rosy pink that compliments my tan olive complexion. I think that this would look really good on all skintones. It is one of my favorite colors. My only problem is that they smell weird, like plastic but thats ok because they are just great! They are also a little expensive but ladies, we're worth it!

I tried on every lipgloss in Sephora and the MAC counter looking for the perfect soft pink to go with my NC42 skintone. Nars Stella was it. It stands out nicely against my skin, but it's not bright or too pale for me -- it's a really nice slightly-sparkely raspberry pink. It's got decent staying power and is just very pretty. I bought mine new for just $6 on ebay.
