I am in love with this perfume!! I really like the original Happy perfume but Happy Heart surpassed the original by far. It's very citrusy, clean, and is in no way overpowering which some fragrances can be. I've tried a lot of different scents throughout the years and this one is by far one of my favorites. The staying power is awesome as well. Sometimes a scent smells really good but after an hour or so, it disappears. Not so with this fragrance. I can't say enough positive things about this perfume!

Love, love, love this scent. I purchased it as part of a 5-pack mini gift set Clinique had on special. Out of all of them, it's my favourite. It's a light citrus/floral and smells divine. It lasts, too. I only have to spray it on again if I'm going on at night or change my clothes. When the mini bottle runs out, I'll purchase the full-size one.

I absolutely love Clinique Happy Heart and have been wearing it for almost ten years now. Its' zesty/fruitlike scent isn't overpowering and not too light; it stays on you and hours later you'll still be smellin' nice.

Really tried to like this fragrance, since i'm really into clean fragrances, but it never ceases to annoy me , hurt my throat and give me a headache. I would really hate to be around anyone that wears Happy Heart. It goes on sooo strong and never seems to develop. Not for me. Sorry :(. 1 Lippie for packaging, simple and clean looking.

This was my tropical island wedding fragrance in 2005. I stopped wearing it for a few years but yesterday I purchased another bottle. It is just SO NICE! A warm, sweet, rich, floral that is very very distinct (I can always pick it on people) and suits all ages not just young people. This is one of the most special fragrances ever created. I adore it.

I;ve only been to America once, but to me, Happy Heart is how I imagine American teenagers smell. I read an article which explained that in the States (in comparison to Europe), what sells best is lighter, sportier, fresher, clean scents. Happy Heart is certainly all of those.

Sweet, faintly powdery, UPBEAT is how I would describe this perfume. I think it's a perfect first perfume for the 16 - 25 market. People generally like smelling it on you, and will comment you smell nice.

I've really enjoyed wearing this perfume for its ease and wearability. Spray as much as you want on, it doesn't last very long and is fairly weak ( -1 point). It also doesn't have enough character to ever have any effect other than ''you smell nice''. You'll never have to worry people might dislike this scent.

I'm 24 and find myself wanting something a bit more interesting and intense, which is why I'm leaving Happy Heart behind.

Still, as I said - good call for teenagers/early 20s who want that ''just got out of the shower and washed my hair with pure looooove'' smell. To give you an idea of the style I'm talking about - that Ralph Lauren one in the turquoise bottle.

My favourite since high school. i own a lot of parfumes and i am actually quite picky about them, but this is definetely my day-time favourite. Fresh, flowery and very feminine, i never get tired of the scent. Makes me feel comfortable and cheers me up

Clinique Happy makes me Very Sad-- I just can''t stand its eye-watering synthetic citrus twang and insistent, sharp soapiness. I had high hopes for Happy Heart, given that many people describe it as a softer, more rounded fragrance. But my rollerball sample of HH disappointed me greatly. It is perhaps a bit more floral and aquatic than Happy, but still very much along the same lines. I found this screechingly soapy, generic, almost antiseptic-smelling. There is something water-lily-ish trying to happen in the background, but it is drowned out by the bombast of 600 oranges soaked in alcohol. Just like the original Happy. To me, there is nothing expensive-smelling or elegant about Happy Heart. You could dispense it into a Body Fantasies bottle and sell it as a $4 body mist, perhaps "Hand Sanitizer Fantasy."

I'm not able to describe notes in a fragrance but like many of you, know what I like. I love Happy the original, it is just that for me, vibrant, bright, citrusy, uplifting. I have worn it off and on for yrs. I just tried Happy Heart and like it a lot too. For me its basically Happy with Rose scent added. That said, it is more complex and softer than the original. I have been looking for a rose scent but don't love it on its own. This is a perfect combination for me plus less "summery" not being pure citrus, so a very appropriate fall scent. I have a birthday coming and now you know what to get me lol.

Best perfume ever! Love florally- citrus smell that just makes me feel beautiful. The bottle could be prettier to reflect the feminine smell, but I don't really care too much about that. It's quality packaging..

Great product. Light and flowery but a but spicy. Unfortunately, as with many Clinique products, I grew bored with the fragrance and the minimalist, clinical bottle but still use some from the bottle I've had since high school. I think the orange scent really did put me in good moods when I wore this. (Robespierre ate piles of oranges everyday, convinced they warded off excess bile production causing melancholy.)

This just didn't agree with me at all! Seconds after I sprayed it on it went from sweet to sour to bitter to a close resemblance of ammonia. I was stunned at how badly this reacted on me.

This perfume doesn't do much for me its just ehh. It claims do have water hyacinth, mandarin and "blond" woods. How can woods be blond? Anyways it's just alright and I dont really smell water hyacinth or mandarin, I would wear it if I got it for a gift, but I did purchase it, and I think I will return it.

Like many other reviewers stated, I am not a fan of sweet floral citrusy scents but there's something about this fragrance that drives me wild. I also absolutely hate Clinique happy, which to me smells like mayonaisse (weird, I know). I don't have this currently but will purchase when Spring comes. It's the perfect daytime scent for a sunny day. I'm sort of a dark, sarcastic person, but this scent does have a "happy" quality to it that I suprisingly love.

I am currently using up my old perfumes and came across this old favourite. A friend recommended it to me as an alternative to Clinique Happy - plus it was on offer with a free shower gel and moisturiser. At first I really liked it but grew bored of it eventually. It was a bit too sweet for my taste and I reverted to the sharper Clinique Happy and it was consigned to the back of my wardrobe.

As I said, I have been trying to use up my old perfumes before I buy anymore new ones - a bit of a project ten pan only with fragrances... This perfum is starting to grow on me. It can be a little sweet if you over apply it, however applied lightly it is a lovely clean, feminine smell and it does attract compliments. I don't need to reapply during the day - i find that if I do, it becomes a little too much.

I've just googled another description of it to be more accurate than 'really nice'! sandalwood, mandarin and cucumber, green and fresh.

Definitely a day time fragrance amd one to be applied lightly rather that liberally but very pleasant otherwise.

I received this as a gift, I appreciated the thought, but I really don't like it. :( It does not smell nice on me. I love the bottle and the nice is super cute, but this one isn't me.

Clinique Happy Heart has been my signature scent for years! I will never get tired of the light, floral scent. It really does smell "happy." The bottle is pretty and simple, and a little of this fragrance goes a very long way.

I received a sample of this perfume and really do like it. :) I'm not yet sure if I would purchase a bottle, but probably would give it as a gift to someone else (mostly because I already have scents I prefer). It's a nice, light, floral scent. Very appropriate for spring and summer.

I still have this bottle after 3 years or so it seems like it lasts forever. Granted I haven't used it in 18 months. I think I liked the smell more now than when I first purchased it. It smell like fresh scented flowers.

I am not a “Happy Heart” kind of girl. I’m not peppy, preppy or look like a golden ray of sunshine while wearing pastels or bright colors. I’m pale with dyed black hair, I have a dry sense of humor and I’m introverted…the brightest I get is wearing jewel tones…I’m a corporate goth. But I’ve noticed Happy Heart on a few women and have always admired it and finally decided to try it for myself. I’ve always wanted something clean, light, inoffensive and unmistakably feminine, particularly for work.

Yes, Happy Heart fits the bill.
Fresh, clean, sweet, light, watery floral but not overly so on any of the qualities, feminine but not too girly, positive but not too bubbly, slightly grown up but not too sophisticated. I wear it to work, sprayed *ultra* lightly on the back of my neck so it has to diffuse through my hair (I’m terrified of being the woman who suffocates her coworkers in her perfume). I also use this when I don’t know what else to wear and my HG (a heavy, smoky vanilla, far more suited to my outward appearance) is just too much. The EDP starts of a little on the sharper green side then settles down to reveal a softer, very clean musk…sort of the quality of laundry detergent or fabric softener which lies under a fresh, light, watery floral.

Could you find a similar fragrance—Sure. Is Happy Heart unique—No. But it’s nice, garners complements, fairly inexpensive ($30 for once of the EDP) and it *lasts*. The fact that it lasts until the end of eight hours is the part that really sold me. I can find a generic, positive, light floral anywhere, but they’re usually in the form of a body spray (floral perfumes are almost *always* too heavy), and body sprays require reapplying frequently.

NOTES: (From Sephora) water hyacinth, mandarin, cucumber, yellow primrose, blond woods.

PS: I feel that VS's PINK perfume is a similar scent with a dash of pepper and a little more of a, um..."saucy" touch. It's not as well rounded or smooth as Happy Heart. Also, Mary Kay's Velocity is very similar.
