In my opinion, this is completely overrated. It caused the sides of my face and neck to break out and did nothing special for my hair. When I contacted Kerastase to inquire into their return policy, I got no response. I can tolerate having a bad experience with a product as there's no telling how you'll react to new ingredients, but when I spend $100 on 3 hair products, I expect them to at least be backed up by decent customer service. I much prefer Biolage's Conditioning Balm or Aveda Damage Remedy to this. I doubt I will buy Kerastase products again.

I had expected more from this treatment. I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's nothing special really. Hair gets pretty soft, with a little added shine but it doesn't feel like it's nourishing or repairing my hair deeply.
This feels like a conditioner more than a deep treatment. The smell is heaven though, can't really get enough! Flowery and fresh. I don't know if I would repurchase this one, choosing a straight NO as an answear feels harsh, but probably not.

HG. A guaranteed good hair day every time I use it. I have fine hair with a coarse texture that can't decide if it's curly or straight. My hair is transformed from dull/dry to something out of a commercial... SUPER SHINY light, frizz free and deliciously scented. Expensive, but since a little goes a long way not so bad. Was lucky and got it in a special packaged deal with a deluxe trial of Bain 2 and Nector Thermique. Worth every cent.

AMAZING - my hair feels thick and dense, looks very good too. Never I would notice such results coming from just a mask. Price is sky-rocketing but this is definitely a stapler.

Sadly this was kind of meh. I had really high hopes for this with my dry, damaged hair. The first time around I accidentally bought nutridefense, which I ended up loving but I still wanted to try masquintense. My stylist once used masquintense for thick hair on me and it was amazing! So I went to the salon and all they had was the one for fine hair, but I figured, whatever, volume is good. This didn't do any harm and it was really good in the shower but it is definitely NOT worth $60. Nutridefense is worth the money, but I use it as a regulat conditioner. This had the same consistency! But it didn't make my hair shiny or anything. I'll finish up my jar, and while I won't repurchase this I might try masquintense for thick hair. But I also really want to try chroma riche, oleo relax, and oleo curl, hmmm..... In my experience, kerastase is ALWAYS worth the cost, and this is the only time I've been dissapointed. Don't get me wrong, this is still really good. Like, I'd pay $20-$30 for this any day, but not $60. But then again, I have myself and my impatience to blame. I don't have even remotely fine hair. It's thick, curly, and theres a lot of it. Seeing as it provided decent moisture I would probably recommend it to someone whos hair isn't as crazy or damaged as mine. Also I'd like to mention that after I blow dried my ends were awesome. Not the rest of my hair though. Weird.

I love this product. Oh hell I swear by it.... I have had long brown hair for a long time and so I decided one day that I wanted a lighter colour and went ahead and bleached it ( not blond, light brownish/copper). And let me tell you it was a disaster. My hair was left dry and really really not pretty at all. I had to cut a whole lot of it but my hair was still very damaged and dry. So I came across this product and after a few weeks OMG.... My hair is alive again. It is shiny, it is soft, bouncy and just beautiful. I love it so much that I use it every time I wash my hair.
I also use the bain satin shampoo and nectar terminique and I can promise you that I will so continue to do so, as my hair has never been this healthy looking.

I bought a tub of this years ago and remember not really liking it. Unfortunately I bought it again. Still nada. I have tried leaving it on for 5 minutes to an hour, with and without heat. When I rinse it out my hair feels sometimes rough. The one redeeming quality it has is that when the hair dries it lies nicely but it's just not worth it. I'd rather have something that does both for the price.

I was afraid to try this for a long time, since I thought it would be too heavy for fine hair (like Bain Satin 1, which made it greasy). But now I've finally given in, and I'm really pleased with this masque. I have been using it as my regular conditioner for a week now, and my hair looks the best ever even though I really need a trim. It makes my hair SO soft, completely tangle free and shiny - it actually looks really healthy. And much to my surprise, it makes it feel slightly thicker too. One time I tried leaving it on for 10 minutes with heat, but I think this performs even better used as regular conditioner left on for 5 minutes (avoiding the roots).
I just love Kerastase, they make me forget all about my split ends and make me think I have beautiful hair again :)

I really love this mask. Nothing I have tried has made my hair feel this good. My hair just feels nourished and healthy, rather than siliconey and weighed down.
My hair is long, straight and fine, but there is a lot of it. It is pretty damaged from dying and I believe I have over proteined it.
I shampoo in the shower without conditioning, then towel dry my hair and let it air dry a bit and then apply a hazelnut size amount and massage it into my hair from my ears down. I wrap my head up in a grocery bag ( lolz ) and wait for quite a while.

I purchased this deep conditioner after being advised by my hair stylist that this would work well with my hair type. I've also heard that this is one of the best on the market. My verdict? I think it's a great product, but it performs no miracles. Though I will probably repurchase, I have used deep conditioners for half the price that deliver the same effects. One added plus with this product is that it doesn't leave a lot of build-up like some other deep conditioners out there. It does leave my hair soft and shiny, but still slightly dry on the ends (however my hair is super dry and colour treated so I would expect it would work out very well on normal hair). I think this product deserves 4 lippies because it leaves my hair in better condition (and easier to style) after I blow dry it than it would be without using Masquintense - for these reasons, I definitely recommend this product!

One of only two conditioners I've ever given 5 stars - the other being Pureology Nanoworks. I find that it loses its effectiveness if you use it too often, so I always alternate it every month or so, but other than that it's one of the only haircare products I've ever used that WORKS. It makes my hair impeccably soft, manageable, and shiny, making my highlights pop and in general just making my hair look awesome. 5 stars for a product that does something noticeable!

Why haven't I reviwed this lovely product before? This gives softness without heaviness. I do not experience the "oily and dirty" feeling the other day. Why do I not give a five star? Well, I always think I could find a better hair product...

OK, I've raved about other Kerastase products in the past, but this is absolutely the most incredible hair formula that I've ever used in my life. If I could pick only one Kerastase product - this is the one.
My hair is pin-straight, thin & fine - not a great combo. The ends tend to be dry. I use the tiniest amount of this cream (~1/4 tsp) masaged into the ends and then almost all the way up to the scalp. I put on a shower cap for 10 minutes & rinse. Upon blow-drying my hair, I am left with the silkiest, shiniest, bounciest hair of life. But it doesn't end there. It truly adds significant volume to my hair. It gives it actual *heft* without any product feel to it. My hair looks AND feels about 5x thicker than usual. I cannot rave enough about this. This potion is a real confidence-builder for me because it makes my hair so, so gorgeous.
Because of the tiny amount that I need, this jar will literally last years. But this is one of those products that I'm going to keep my eye on, in the marketplace, because if I ever hear that it may be discontinued - I will be stocking up.

This product is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a faithful Kerastase user, and this deep conditioner does not disappoint. I have been using it several times a week on my thin, double-processed blonde hair. It helps to condition, soften, and improve elasticity without weighing my hair down. I love to leave it on in the shower with a shower cap for a good five or ten minutes. It rinses out beautifully, and I cannot stop touching my hair afterward. Definitely worth the hefty price tag! I use it with my Bain Satin 2 shampoo and rotate between this and the La Vital conditioner.
The only drawback is the container. I have never really understood why or how Kerastase thinks that this is a good way to dispense conditioner. I always have to be careful in the shower to make sure that the pot does not fill with water while I am applying. I guess it is a small inconvenience for a great product.

LOVE this stuff. It really works. I have just gone ahead and started using all Kerastase products. It has helped my hair so so much. And although the products are expensive, I am actually spending less money than before. Previously I was buying so many hair products out of desperation for my weakened, dry hair and NONE of them were helping me at all.

this stuff is gold! I dyed my hair twice and stripped it once in a matter of 3 days and using this conditioner on my hair made it look and feel as if I never did all this crap!
I wet my hair, rub this stuff into my hair and scalp, comb it through with a wide tooth comb and wrap my hair in a damp-warm towel (wet a towel, throw it in the dryer on high for 10min or so) and left it on for about 20min. then I rinsed it out with really really cold water (the coldest my shower would give me) and my hair is gorgeous and silk like!
I have naturally thin, baby-fine hair; it's long and doesn't get frizzy or anything but I do dye my hair and because it's so fine, I get the impression that I might as well be lighting it on fire. but this keratase makes all my worries go away and heals my hair greatly!

I was so frustrated about how my hair looked like before I've found about Kerastase. My hair looked like literally straw, and I didn't get, surely, any compliments on it.I was so desperate, and tried pretty amount of hair care products, expensive ones as well as cheap ones.So I continued to search for miracle and find out about Kerastase, but here in Croatia that brand was so unvailable. So after I found few salons wich have this brand,I had to try it but I didn't expect anything good,as usually with my hair.WOW,WOW;WOW,how come this didn't work for some ladies?????If this transformed my hair, this can do that for anyone.Ok,I didn't get effect the way I have it now with this product after just one use,but I find with more use,I get better results, and I'm not kidding :D.
I don't know if this is just silicon cover for my hair, and I don't actually care as long as this MIRACLE brand make my hair look like hair for commercials.Yes girl, now I'm getting all compliments to my hair, and everybody asks what I did to my hair, and I just say that it is all about ironing and olive oil, lol.I DON'T wanna share my miracle secret with anyone, except U guys..I forgot to tell: I think,I'm HOOKED,I've tried almost every Kerastase product, and I loved almost all of them, but I've found my very best combination of few Kerastase products, and I'm sticking with it until the day I die.My search for hair miracle product has finally stopped.Oh yes,I don't care about high prices. Not at all...but only when I take a look on my silky hair :P .

My hair is exactly what this product claims to treat - dry and very fine - but somehow it worked REALLY BAD. It left my hair all tangled and drier than before. Surprisingly, the thick hair formula worked wonders for me. Well, let's say, not exactly "wonders" for that price, but worked very well. And I love the "vintage" smell of it.
My advice is to always buy the smaller version first - actually I did it, I bought the smaller "thick hair" version, and when I was buying it again, I wanted to buy the bigger one... but I didn't pay enough attention and bought the "fine hair" version. As it worked awfully and was too expensive for me to throw in the trash can, I tried to mix it with everything - other creams, oil treatments, whatever - but nothing seemed to work, than I finally gave it away.

This stuff is amazing!! I really don't care for the grandma perfume smell, but who cares!! this mask transformed my damaged hair into silk!! I'll be buying this in bulk!!
