Love. Love. Love.

I was concerned on first application that it would be too sheer, but it morphs into the skin beautifully. Finish is flawless.

I used to use Perricone's tinted moisture for years, but it was discontinued. I really needed something simpler than a foundation for everyday wear, but wasn't thrilled about any of the BB creams I was seeing.

Bought this on a hunch; there was a great promo with a lot of goodies with a minimum Dr. Gross purchase, I thought it might be a winner, and my instinct was spot on.

Totally loving it.

If you need a great deal of coverage, this may not be for you. But give it a few minutes. It goes on extremely light on me (I purchased in Light-Medium), and seemingly quite sheer. But in a few minutes it morphs into a beautiful, luminous finish, not too dewey, not too matte, and just the right amount of coverage. Builds easily if you need more, but I find that a single application works fine. No settling into fine lines, no breakouts. Great on my well over 40 and prone to breakouts but dealing with fine lines skin.

Exceptional. Will most definitely repurchase when this tube is finished, without reservation.

Did I say that I loved it?

I got this in medium and it was actually way too dark for me. Not just dark, but orange. I'd apply it in the morning and it would look like I played in dirt a couple hours later. It also was way to oily for my face. After applying it, I'd have to blot my face with tissue to remove the oily feeling. Or use my mineral veil on top to sop up the greasiness.

Now that it's after summer, I have started to mix it with my foundation to even out the color and it works a lot better mixed (since i'm a little more tan). At least it's not going to complete waste!

I have fairly normal (occasionally combo) skin and this product is great for me.

Goes on even, and finishes fairly matte. I usually set it with some powder and voila!

Luckily the color matched me, but I know that they're aren't too many shades to chose from, which can be a con considering it's a little pricey.

I've really enjoyed this product and will buy it again. Sometimes I mix it with something a bit heavier before application and sometimes I don't. I gave it 4 lippies because of the price and how difficult it can be to track down in a store. Sephora and Ulta were out this last time I was looking for it. I get tired of ordering things on-line as sometimes I want the product when I walk into the store to purchase it. PROS: no strong or lasting scent (I'm prone to migraines and scent is a trigger), coverage is not sheer but not heavy or noticeable, easily blendable with something slightly heavier, can pat skin with hands to turn it matte, doesn't get shiny on my combo skin, doesn't feel like I've got anything on, tube is easy to use. CONS: price, difficulty in finding it in stock, lack of color options.

I am not sure why this has not received better reviews. This is my HG tinted moisturizer. I only gave it 4 lippies because I wish they would expand the color range. It blends easily and covers well. really recommend. Oil free and spf really simplifies morning routine.

i really like this, i use it for work and it's a great time saver. the coverage is sheer but it does a great job of evening out my skin tone; it blends really easily; doesn't break me out (which moisturisers with spf often do) and it doesn't have any weird odour. so pluses all round, really.
my only issue is the price, i haven't tried many tinted moisturisers and i wonder if i could find a comparable one that isn't so pricey.

I have combination skin.

I put on two layers of the TM and it looked great. I have minor hyper-pigmentation from old acne scaring & some areas w/mid-sized pores. It looked really great & I was really excited. My skin still looked a little dry in the dry areas but it wasn't bad.

6 hours later my skin was super oily & gross! The color and texture still looked nice. I guess if I carried around oil absorbing sheets I could have absorbed the oil. I'd rather have a TM that doesn't require me to soak up the oil!

I think this product is very average. It gives light coverage as expected from a tinted moisturizer. The texture is a bit cakey compared to other tinted moisturizers and feels kind of heavy (a bit like if you put sunscreen on your face).

I only bought it because I saw it on sale on a website for $15. I wouldn't buy it again, especially not at the original price because it's just so average.

This product made me greasy (moreso than other tinted moisturizers) and I feel it contributed to some breakouts. It gave great coverage but did feel a little heavy for a tinted moisturizer and I was super shiny in no time.

Product - I have this in shade Medium. This liquid creme is a medium warm-toned nude (more tan than beige) with yellow to peach undertones and a darn good match for my AAB/NC25 skin. Actually it looked like it might be a little too peachy/orange but voila, it disappeared right into my skin. Texture is like a moisturizer - not too thick, and not too runny. Easy to spread and work with, absorbs well. Feels light and not greasy at all. After I apply this, I can't see the product on my face but I look somehow improved. It evens out the tones in my face and gives me a polished, finished look without looking made up. No eerie veil of product visible over my beauty marks either! Wearing this, my skin feels dewy at most, not sticky, not oily. The finish on my skin is matte and very natural-looking. Keeps at bay the oiliness that normally creeps up by the end of the workday. Lasts all day and stays put - no caking, creasing, or settling into lines. Does come off if you rub (like blowing your nose in a tissue), especially if you have wet hands. No adverse reactions to report, but I'm lucky in that department - YMMV.

Comparisons - Dollops of Light, Light-Medium, and Medium all look very much alike on the back of my hand, but when I tested them on my face (jawline) I easily saw the differences - turns out Medium works best for me (AAB/NC25 with yellow undertones). Cover Girl Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer in Light To Medium is very similar in color but more neutral, less warm toned. BB Luminous Moisturizing Foundation in Natural is a very close match though more densely pigmented (it's a foundation after all, not a TM).

Packaging - Cylindrical stand-up pump dispenser on the full size (1.7 oz) bottles is easy to work with - all I need is a pea-sized amount, which takes one full pump. Do what the package says and tap the bottom of the tube before using it the first time. Smaller kit or GWP size squeeze tubes that stand upright on the cap (0.5 oz) are handy for travel. Shelf life (according to manufacturer) is about 3 years when stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.

Overall - I love the way my skin looks when I use this. Like my brow definer, this is a subtle product - doesn't look like it's there but makes a profound difference in how my face looks overall. Retail seems a bit steep at $44 for 1.7 oz - however, it took me 4+ months of regular use to finish a 0.5 oz tube, so I think I can live with the price. Besides, a HG is a HG, right?

UPDATE - looks like they are switching from the pump to upright squeeze tubes now for the full size (1.7 oz).

I am torn on if i really like tinted moisturizers or not. Somedays they hit the spots other's I hate em. This one is slightly greasy so it's not one I really like. But there are a few days a year that's it's just what i need, like going to the beach but you want a little bit more cover than than just sunscreen. Overall I wouldn't really recommend this particular one though, not the best moisturizer, poor ingredients and it doesn't state on the box if it protects against both uva and uvb only has spf rating of 15 which is not what you want to look for in facial protection in particular.

I so forgot that I had this. Anyways I have been using this one for a week. The shade I picked was deep and honestly it wasn't what I expect deep to look like. It was orangey to me, but then again the florescent lights probably doesn't do it justice. It feels kind of sticky on my face but I decided to use it since some days my skin needs moisture plus I spend some money so I might as well use it. If I use it alone, my color would turn a weird color. I have a oily skin type so this is to be expected. But when I use a face powder, it holds up alright. Just need to touch up every so often, with the powder I am using. I don't know if I would repurchase this again but I will see after a month or so.

I got a sample for this, and while it's a shade too dark for my neutral pale complexion (the Medium, I believe, which is also a bit too yellow), the product itself is a dream, so I may well be getting myself one in a lighter shade in lieu of the Laura Mercier SPF Tinted Moisturiser I've been using for the past year. The Mercier, though it's behaved itself fairly well (and while expensive, probably amounts to about the same as the MD), does have a tendency to get shiny and greasy and eventually disintegrates, particularly with my skin's annoying current belief that it's actually regressed to adolescence, and my subsequent desire for a tinted moisturiser that's a bit more sturdy in terms of coverage.
This stuff by contrast is creamy, doesn't streak or crack (even in Melbourne's currently humid, muggy climate), and gives a natural but surprisingly reasonably full, almost matte coverage, which seems quite unusual for a tinted moisturiser with their tendency towards barely-there sheerness. It also hasn't yet resulted in a breakout or dastardly reaction, as my angry sensitive skin is inclined to induce. MD in general seems to be a blessing for both problematic and sensitive skin - everything I've tested thus far has been soothing and gentle.
This may not be the product for someone who wants a tinted moisturiser of the luminescent, ultra-natural, glowing, transparent sort (though I did apply it with a sponge and layer it on considerably, so you can probably apply it accordingly and mix it up with a moisturiser for a sheer effect), but it's precisely what I wanted for an even and blotchiness-smoothing finish for my not-so-clear tantrum-throwing summer skin.

This is my HG tinted moisturizer and I've tried them all. My skin just LOOKS much better when I wear this product...and I'm not just talking when I wear makeup, it looks nourished and calm when I wash it off, too. This product actually heals the skin and works to even out skin tone and reduce redness from within, not by just covering it up temporarily. Plus, it has sunscreen and a ton of vitamins to boot! I am highly sensitive and have had no reactions or breakouts to this product, and I have been using it for several years.

I like the coverage, but on days when I feel I need a bit more, I'll add a drop of my laura mercier foundation into it. This is one of my favorite products ever and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!!

This is a tinted sunscreen lotion that is not very moisturizing. It provides light coverage and does not feel greasy on the skin. I would not repurchase this as I need higher spf and prefer a sunscreen that includes zinc oxide or titanium dioxide like Replenix spf 40, which I have switched to.

I got this in swap in light/medium and I love it! It has a nice cover, doesn't cover everything but I have been using it as a foundation. It's light feeling and easy to use. The only thing I dont like is my oilies show through after a few hours (have yet to find a product that controls my oil shine) but overall I like and will continue to use. I just recently bought CG light/medium TM and cant wait to try that too. Oh and NO breakouts from this either. yay!

There's no way I could get away with using this in lieu of foundation, but I like this underneath to lightly moisturize and provide SPF. $44 for 1.7 oz. is a bit steep for what it is and I probably won't repurchase because there are similar products I prefer, but I like it and will finish my bottle.

This is a great tinted moisturizer and mineral makeup base. It's really sheer so it gives you light coverage if you don't want to look too put on during the days but it also evens out your skin tone. And the best part - no break outs for my acne-prone skin!

I took off one lippie though because it can be a little too oily! It's not matte at all so even right after you put it on, you look like you've just jogged a mile! That's why I combine it with mineral makeup to set it and matte it.

I received this as a sample. I like the way it evens out my skin tone. I almost don't need my mineral foundation over it. I actually like it but it is not as moisturizing as I need. I think I will just stick with "real" moisturizer and leave the complexion-evening to my foundation!
