I received a small bottle (one-third size) of this when I purchased my Clarisonic Mia 2 in a set. And I ran out to buy the full size because it goes well with my Mia 2..and I just liked it so much that I had to have more! This is a very gentle cleanser which is preservative free. Hence, I really appreciate that there is an expiry date printed at the side of the box. It will last approx 1+ year from the date of manufacture.

To be honest, I'm just looking for a non-drying cleanser that smells nice to wash my face. That's all. I'm not concerned about the skincare benefits because I don't really think that anything I put for 1 minute on my face can reap significant benefits. This cleansing gel contains hydrangea leaf to reduce pore size, botanical amino acids (what's that? @_@) to eliminate dirt and green tea to soothe the skin.

I'm not too sure that my pores have become smaller, but what I do like is that it leaves my face clean without feeling stripped, and it can be used twice a day to cleanse my face. This is only for normal to oily skin..so it might be too drying for people with dryer skin types. It doesn't aggravate my face and just leaves it feeling perfectly clean and ready to put skincare on. And yeah, this is fragranced moderately with something that reminds me of roses. It doesn't leave any lingering smell after it washes off which is great.

Absolutely love this gentle cleanser. I've been using it now for approx. 7 months and my skin loves it - non-irritating, it's not overly harsh and keeps my oily acne-prone skin balanced, it also does not promote break-outs. I also like the scent of it, very natural and not too overpowering. The bottle is quite small but seems to last a long time, I use 2 squirts to get a really good lather but alternate every other day with Philosophy Micro Exfoliating wash. I will definitely continue buying this great cleanser!

My skin: oily with a tendency to become dehydrated (lacking water), sensitive, clog-prone
This seemed like a great cleanser at first, but with continued use, it dried out my skin. Also, I think I am sensitive to some of the botanicals in it.

This facial wash feels very clean. So clean it left my face as dry and ashy as a bone. I liked the very delicate scent, and it felt very smooth in my hands. It didn't lather too much and rinsed away cleanly. My major problem was that I found it much too drying. Even when used every other I developed dry patches and had to buy a thicker moisturizer. Would not repurchase.

I have very acne prone, sensitive, and combo/slightly dry skin that can't tolerate any sulfates. I was previously using Dermalogica's Ultracalming Cleanser which was very gentle, but clogged my pores (many of which would grow into pimples) and didn't do a very good job at removing my make up. The only reason I stuck with it was because the few clogs it caused were more pleasant than the massive zit outbreaks that many other cleansers would give me.

I'm currently using Differin and I love how this cleanser foams up like crazy yet remains very gentle. It takes off every stitch of make up without drying the crap out of my face and my skin feels so smooth after.

I normally wait at least a month before I review a product, but after only 2 weeks of daily use, my face has cleared up. This is huge, considering I was a face full of zits for the past year. I have no active pimples, and my clogs have seemingly dissolved. Of course, I can't give all the credit to the cleanser since I think Differin is the star (thats another review) but it has definitely prevented any new clogs/pimples from forming and letting my prescription do it's job. I can't say enough about this cleanser - it foams, it cleans, it's natural, it's gentle, and a bottle will last a long time. So. In. Love.

I received a 5oz bottle free when I purchased my Clarisonic Mia. I decided to use the whole bottle before reviewing. Definitely a nice foaming cleanser even though it's sulfate free. The smell could be a little better - it smells pine-y. I have very sensitive, combo skin with rosacea on my cheeks. This cleanser never aggravated my skin. Though it was slightly drying - but completely tolerable. Every once in a while I did feel a little tightness - but I attribute that to my Mia. I use MUFE foundations with primer and I when I did try to wash it off with this cleanser - I didn't feel it did a great job removing make-up. Using white towels - I still had a little make-up on my face. Would I repurchase - yes. Why - because it never once caused flare-ups or irritated my skin like so many others, and my skin hasn't looked as good in a really long time. While not my HG, it made an excellent cleanser to be used with my Mia. At $26 bucks a bottle - which lasted me almost a year (about ten-eleven months), it really is a great price for a HE cleanser.

I simply adore this cleanser. I've used this off and on for about the last 8 years now. Every now and then I'll think it's time to branch out try other things but in the end always return to this cleanser. Which then clears up the small pimples that arrive from trying other things. It takes off all of my makeup and has a natural light scent. It definitely helps to keep my combo skin clear. In the winter I do find it a little drying so I switch out to the soothing cleanser in the a.m and this in the p.m instead and that works well for me. I love this stuff.

In a previous review I stated that Boscia's Detoxifying Black Cleanser was the one cleanser that I could absolutely never be without; that opinion has changed!

About 8 weeks ago I placed an order on Boscia's website for the Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel (this remains the only moisturizer that I use) and due to an awesome promotion I received over $150 in free items with that purchased - the Purifying Cleansing Gel was among the included items. As I had a previous loyalty to the Detoxifying Cleanser the PCF was an item that I set aside for later use though I honestly had no intention of using it. One morning I found my bottle of DBC empty and opted to try this cleanser in its place.

I had never been so happy to run out of a favorite facial cleanser; the Purifying Cleansing Gel is, in one word, incredible.

I have combination skin and often find to hard to find suitable products, from skincare to make-up, that control my oily t-zone without over drying my cheeks. And, for me, gel cleansers have always been the worst: the oily areas were controlled but the dry were overly so, often flaking. However, this gel cleanser left my face perfectly balanced! A little bit (I use 1.5 pumps) is ample to thoroughly cleanse my face and remove make-up. After use, my skin feels incredibly smooth and looks brighter.

The biggest difference that I've noticed, and the one that I consider to be of utmost importance, is the reduction to breakouts that I've experienced since using this cleanser. I don't have horrible acne, but rather experience hormonal breakouts during that time of the month. Cystic acne and whiteheads were at the top of that list and while they do still occur, the numbers are nowhere near what they used to be. Furthermore, healing time has been cut in half and without the use of targeted acne spot treatments.

The biggest bonus where Boscia products are concerned are that they are made with all-natural, eco-friendly ingredients: Hydrangea Leaf, Botanical Amino Acids, Jojoba Leaf, Willowherb.

This cleanser deserves more then 5 lippies, in my opinion!

Wow Wow Wow. I can't believe I haven't written a review for this product! I'm currently on my 5th bottle of this stuff. I was so frustrated before because I couldn't find a cleanser that was natural(ish), didn't have synthetic fragrances and actually worked well on my skin without it causing me to break out or dry out my skin. Well I stumbled upon this one at Sephora and have loved it ever since. It makes my skin feel smooth and clean and doesn't cause me to break out. In fact, it seems to keep my pimples at bay. Theres no overly strong perfume or artificial smell, it just smells like plants. I can't use any products that have synthetic frangrace, so the smell was fine to me. It didn't stink or anything either. The consistency is sticky and very gel like. Just like how it says in the name. Its not that sticky when you put it in your hands, but once it dries it becomes quite sticky. This is a problem if you spill some product. I put this stuff in travel bottles when I went on trips and it made the bag i was carrying it in sticky so be careful. I do appreciate that this bottle is in a pump. Makes it a lot more sanitary and easy to use. Every cleanser should have a pump. What I do is I use one pump into my fingertips, rub my fingertips together (to activate ingredients) and then rub on my face. I let it sit for about 2 mintues and then I rinse off. I do this twice a day. The ONLY problem I have with this is the price. Its $26 a pop. Quite expensive. Especially since it doesn't have a whole lot of product in here. From my usage, it seems to hold up about 3-4 months. Unfortunately, spending $26 each time is a little too much for me, so I will start researching some new facial cleansers :( If it werent for the price though, I would repurchse for the rest of my life haha!

I'm so glad I switched to this cleanser! I used to use Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub because of my acne-prone skin. But I now believe that scrub was making my skin worse, as it felt "raw" and agitated. On the other hand, Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel is super gentle yet gets the job done. My skin feels clean yet supple- not dry.
I have switched up other products in my daily routine too, so it may not be just because of this cleanser, but my acne has cleared up. Just a couple now and then, but not like it used to be. And my skin tone is way more even.
This is a pricey cleanser, but a small drop of it goes a long way. I like the little stopper that it comes with. I kept the box and will put the stopper on the bottle if I need to take it with me somewhere. It has lasted me a while, and I will buy it again if my skin continues to feel this way. Recommend.

I have combination skin, very oily around the T-zone and dry in other parts of the face. No acne problems, just slight breakouts now and then. I use this cleanser with my Clarisonic and follow with a toner and moisturizer. After a few weeks, I have noticed that my skin feels very tight, especially around the cheek area and skin is flaky around my mouth. This "tightness" and flakiness was never present before. I am assuming it is due to the cleanser as nothing else in my skincare regime has changed. Also, I think I might have gotten a bottle with a faulty pump as the product seeps out through the gaps around the pump. I wouldn't say that this product is bad, it's just that it did not suit my skin.

I got this full cleanser as a add on with my Clarisonic. I like this cleanser because it removes makeup efficiently without drying out my skin. I don't think the peptides do anything to help my skin. This cleanser doesn't make me break out but I don't think it directly helps my breakouts either.

I liken this cleanser to the Neutrogena foaming cleanser that is soap free and a makeup remover, but this one is 6 bucks compared to 26 bucks for the Boscia one. I did repurchase it but I'm going to exchange it for something else.

This cleanser is good but its not anything special to warrant the additional cost from my Neutrogena one.

This has been sitting in my drawer for the longest time. I got it in a Sephora gift set last year together with my Berry Pink Clarisonic, and I did not want to use it because I was so afraid that it would dry out my skin. However, my old cleanser was no longer cutting it for my skin, so I decided to try the Boscia cleanser since I had it around anyway and surprisingly, I love it!!! I have combination skin, and I do get a bit oily in the T-zone. My skin is pretty sensitive and extremely prone to clogging although I rarely break out anymore.
This cleanser cleanses well without drying out my skin or leaving a greasy film on the surface. It does not break me out either or cause any adverse reaction to my skin. I find it pretty gentle too. I only need a tiny bit with each use. I usually just pump a small amount and lather it in my hands with some water and massage the foam gently on my skin. I only use this once a day though, and alternate it with another gentler cleanser depending on the state of my skin.

Not sure how much this costs in Singapore, but I'm not too worried about the price as long as it works I will continue to repurchase it. Will continue to stick to this cleanser until my skin "outgrows" this one as well.

HG cleanser. I love this stuff so much. It cleans my face without making it feel dried out like so many others I've tried. I've also experienced a decrease in overall breakouts since I switched to this, but that could also be because I've been using makeup removing wipes prior to washing to make sure all the foundation is gone (I use Revlon Colorstay and it can be difficult to remove entirely). The only thing I'd change about this is either the price or the amount you get for the price.

I originally tried this as a sample in a sephora delivery and I was immediately impressed with it. I finally ordered it and used it again and my first impression still seems to be correct. I love this product. its one of the few cleansers that doesnt leave my skin feeling greasy or filmy and it really cleans! I lather it on my damp face until the foam turns opaque white and that really seems to do the trick. I havent tried it w my Clarisonic yet because so far i havent felt like i needed to but I can on ly imagine that it would work even better that way. Just may be my HG.

I really like this cleanser. I have oily skin and this cleans the skin well without stripping it and making it feel dry and tight. I follow up with a Boscia toner and moisturizer as part of my routine. My only complaint is the size of the bottle. I feel its too small for the price and I go through it pretty quickly.

This is my first review I ever wrote. This goes to tell you how much I love boscia! The Purifying cleansing gel is awesome. It keeps my acne at bay. During the time that I was pregnant, this was the only cleanser I can use that did not irritate my face or break me out. I occasionally use this cleanser with my olay pro x brush, which works great with eachother. This is my hg of cleansers. It can be drying at times due to the combination of this cleanser and boscia's oil free moisturizer. I just fix that with an occasional use of boscia's restorative night moisturizer. The usually last me 3 months with occasional uses by my lovely husband and mother. Although the price is a little expensive for a cleanser, I still think its worth it. I have really sensitive skin and this is the only cleanser I have used for about a year without wanting to change. I did change once a year ago and oh did I regret it. This seem to be the only product that works with my skin so far.
Edit: end up switching cleansers. Dried up my cheeks and forehead. It's still an awesome face wash! Just can't use in winter. Switch to origins checks and balance cleanser. Wish me luck! The moisture in my skin is coming back! Minus one lippie.

Edit 2/2013: I end up returning to this cleanser. Works well with clarisonic. Less drying now. Clears up acne very well.

My skin doesn't like to slough off, so this product in combination with my Clarisonic has been a winning combination! Sulfates in my other cleansers were really making my skin have the awful dry-patchy in some places and oily-breaking out in others, so when I realized I needed something less harsh I was glad I found I could get a full size version of this when I purchased my Clarisonic. This foams just as well as a cleanser with sulfates, but I don't get that tight/filmy feeling I've gotten from other cleansers. The flakiness that was always present on my forehead is no longer there and overall my skin feels really balanced and clean. I wish it weren't so expensive and I'm not so sure if I'd like using it sans Clarisonic, but I find the combination of both products has really helped my flaky skin and reduced my blackheads and clogged pores significantly without any unwanted consequences like redness or dry skin.

I like this cleanser. It smells nice, cleans well. I like that it's natural and doesn't contain preservatives. But it's a bit drying, so I have to spray and pat toner straight afterwards. I like the packaging as it looks very clean and organic. I am not sure if I will repurchase though. I am just a skincare junkie, so I love trying out different brands.
