Not sure if I am saying this from personal experience but...a cleanser is a cleanser. For the most part, I don't get dramatically different results from using good DS vs good high end cleansers. The exception being if the cleanser is part of a treatment regimen.
I can say that this is a gentle cleanser that feels cooling on the skin. I got a miniature version in the holiday gift collection of Boscia products. This is the one item that didn't really impress me. It did not leave my skin cleaner or clearer than other well known DS brands. I will say that Iike the scent. But the bottle does not last a long time. The formula is quite thin and does not foam up.
Overall, I think this is a great cleanser. But not worth the price tag. I do get better results using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or Neutrogena Mask/Cleanser DS products.

Great cleanser! I have oily skin and am prone to breakouts. This has helped tremendously. I have tried lots of different cleansers mainly oil free, this has been the one I always go back to.
I love the pump dispenser.

It could be great cleanser as it removes make up perfectly. Easy to use and I love the bottle with pump. However, it is little too drying for my skin, as well as caused some breakouts.
I tried the oil version too but I did not like the sunflower oil smell and it felt little too oily.
I returned it back at Sephora ($26) and repurchased my lovely Dr. Hauscka - the best cleanser ever, that never ever breaks me out, is not drying.. just perfect.

This has been my HG pm cleanser for many years. Removed makeup and excess oil beautifully without being drying. Unfortunately they changed the formula recently and I am so very sad as it now burns my skin...it never used to. I'm having to find something comparable and it hasn't been easy! I am holding out that the formula change is temporary...

This is a good little cleanser. At first I thought the thick consistency might break me out, as so many cleansers clog my pores or break me out, or just don't do enough. Which is why I only use Clinique soap to clean my face. Once a week I use this cleanser. It deep cleans my face without causing breakouts. It feels squeaky clean afterwards. I use it on Sat. night and Sunday morning. Monday morning my skin generally looks pristine after a couple uses of this product. Only a miniscule amount is needed, as it is very, very concentrated. This is my first Boscia product.

I have combination acne prone skin that is definitely a little sensitive and I love this cleanser. It offers a deep clean while preserving natural moisture. It does not make your skin feel tight or too dry afterwards. Gentle yet powerful.

I received a small bottle (one-third size) of this when I purchased my Clarisonic Mia 2 in a set. And I ran out to buy the full size because it goes well with my Mia 2..and I just liked it so much that I had to have more! This is a very gentle cleanser which is preservative free. Hence, I really appreciate that there is an expiry date printed at the side of the box. It will last approx 1+ year from the date of manufacture.
To be honest, I'm just looking for a non-drying cleanser that smells nice to wash my face. That's all. I'm not concerned about the skincare benefits because I don't really think that anything I put for 1 minute on my face can reap significant benefits. This cleansing gel contains hydrangea leaf to reduce pore size, botanical amino acids (what's that? @_@) to eliminate dirt and green tea to soothe the skin.
I'm not too sure that my pores have become smaller, but what I do like is that it leaves my face clean without feeling stripped, and it can be used twice a day to cleanse my face. This is only for normal to oily skin..so it might be too drying for people with dryer skin types. It doesn't aggravate my face and just leaves it feeling perfectly clean and ready to put skincare on. And yeah, this is fragranced moderately with something that reminds me of roses. It doesn't leave any lingering smell after it washes off which is great.

Absolutely love this gentle cleanser. I've been using it now for approx. 7 months and my skin loves it - non-irritating, it's not overly harsh and keeps my oily acne-prone skin balanced, it also does not promote break-outs. I also like the scent of it, very natural and not too overpowering. The bottle is quite small but seems to last a long time, I use 2 squirts to get a really good lather but alternate every other day with Philosophy Micro Exfoliating wash. I will definitely continue buying this great cleanser!

My skin: oily with a tendency to become dehydrated (lacking water), sensitive, clog-prone
This seemed like a great cleanser at first, but with continued use, it dried out my skin. Also, I think I am sensitive to some of the botanicals in it.

This facial wash feels very clean. So clean it left my face as dry and ashy as a bone. I liked the very delicate scent, and it felt very smooth in my hands. It didn't lather too much and rinsed away cleanly. My major problem was that I found it much too drying. Even when used every other I developed dry patches and had to buy a thicker moisturizer. Would not repurchase.
