This is such a gorgeous color! One of Essies best. Pink, sweet, girly, would complement any skin tone.

I found this at TJMaxx for $1 along with Wicked and It's in the bag (both $2 each). This honestly is the best nude I have ever tried. Application is great and it totally looks like my nails but so much better! I used it with Sally Hansen white nail pencil for a natural french look. Essie has discontinued this color, but they match it with Potatoe Fields of their current line. This is a great nude that does not look pink on the nails.

The most perfect ivory ever against my MAC NC15/Alima N1 yellow toned skin. I have used this shade for years for french manicures, and have just started using it as 3 coats without white tips. With 3 coats it is nearly opaque and works much better with my skin tone than OPI Bubble Bath to give me "Giada DeLaurentis nails". I adore Futures French and hope Essie never discontinues it. Highly recommend for those with similar skintone!

The colour was good, pale pinky beige. The first few times I used it, it was pretty perfect. Unfortunately, once I'd used 1/3 of the bottle it was hard to apply without getting very streaky. I find OPI polishes to be of much better quality (and the brushes a lot more user friendly).

My HG nailpolis for the "my-nails-but-better-look"! Futures French is a sheer milky beige/pink nude that, in my opinion, would look good on anyone. The polish just flows over the nail and dosent streak the slightest, the finish is so much glossier and prettier than any other polish that I´ve ever tried. This colour would be perfect for a french manicure. I use 2 coats (no base-or topcoat) and the polish stays fresh and nice for abour 4-5 days. I highly recommend Futures French to all you girls that like your nails to look naturally perfect.

This is a wonderful sheer nude! I've been having trouble getting sheers to stay translucent on me - I always get streaks and brush marks, so I end up piling on so many coats to cover my mistakes that they turn opaque. Futures French is the easiest sheer I've worked with, probably because the formula is so thin that it's easy to manipulate, and it flows onto the nail well. If you're careful with your brushstrokes, and use a generous amount of polish for each nail, it's possible to get totally streak-free coverage, while still letting the whites of your nails show through for a clean, pulled-together look. The shade is one that I think would be universally flattering: a neutral ivory with just the faintest hint of pink/peach to warm it up and keep it from being too white at two coats. I can't speak about the wear on this yet, since I've only had it on for about 12 hours; however, Essies usually have the best wear on me. I'm guessing this will be no different - I'm just so thrilled that I've found a sheer polish that works for me! Definitely try this one out if you've had trouble with streaky sheers, or if you're just looking for an easy, pretty, slap-it-on-and-go manicure shade. (And I refer any doubters to Oleander's gorgeous picture below...)

I thought I had found my favorite YNBB nude in Essie Fed Up, and while I still love that color, Essie's Futures French is truly what I was looking for. It is less peachy than Fed Up, so it's more the color of my natural nail. My nails look like glass with Futures French--clean and polished, with just the right amount of pink and white, and a glowing transluscence. Highly recommend people trying this for their French manicures and for a beautiful nude look!

Futures French is my signature polish, I use in a French mani. I pair it up w/ OPI Alpine Snow & the results are gorgeous. Futures French is the perfect sheer nude-beige color for a French mani. I've been experimenting w/ other top coats but, keep coming back to this one. I am going to try Bonds Beige next. That one is supposed to be the shimmery nude version of Futures French. I bet I'll be back to Futures french though, in no time!

This is a great performing nudie nude shade. It applies streak-free which is what I look for in a sheer polish. This shade is perfectly natural on my LLL cool-toned skin. In fact it almost appears clear with one coat as I usually apply sheers this way: base, one coat sheer (over white tips if doing french), then top coat. This way it eliminates one more layer as I apply Essie Shine-E Polish refresher every 1-2 days to keep them looking sleek & shiny. Futures French evens out my nail beds and whitens the tips simultaneously so I keep a bottle handy when I'm in a hurry and don't want to leave the house with naked nails lol!

this is the perfect everyday color. it dries to clean, streak free finish and looks wonderful with tanned skin. i have used this in french manicures but it resembles a french manicure even when used by itself.

This is the perfect nude shade for doing a french manicure. I love the way it looks on my nails. It doesn't chip off easily and it dries to a nice shine.

I love this sheer nudish shade! Makes a nice french manicure, or a subtle and natural nail by itself. The formula is great, too...it applies smoothly.

This is another beautiful, your nails but better polish by Essie. This is a sheer nude color that gives an appearance of a french manicure without the hassle. If you're looking for a nude version of Waltz (sheer white) or Ballet Slippers (sheer pink), this is it.
