UPDATE: Awww, now I miss this product. I think its been discontinued. I have like a pool of product left, and I'm using it to the last drop. I like the smell, especially on days when I don't shampoo my hair. It's like hair perfume. And it disguises the oiliness and gives some lift to the roots.
My bottle is running out and I'm not sure if I'll buy it again. The very first time I used it, the results were amazing- tousled, messy hair. I don't know what I do wrong, but I haven't been able to get the same results. It doesn't do anything whether I air-dry, blow-dry, scrunch, etc. Now, I just spray it on my roots whenever they get greasy. It soaks up some of the oil. I think it smells ok. I haven't been able to find the perfect texture product.

after i got a new cut at my salon, i think my stylist sprayed a bit of this sea salt spray then waxed it up. i went online and got this from ebay, so it was really cheap for me. i have fine, thin, bleached/damaged and naturally wavy/curly hair, and perhaps due to all my layers (my stylist is really really good with layerings) this spray gives me volume and helps keep the style longer. it also makes my naturally curly/wavy hair even more wavy. love this spray! it makes my hair tangle though.. but i still love this. it can be used on both wet and dry hair, which is a plus coz i shower at night and go to sleep. the next day ususally everything is gone. i havent tried similar prodcuts from other brands such as Bumble and Bumble, but im happy with this spray.

I really like what this product does for my very straight, boring, lifeless hair. I spray it in, then I make small buns all over my head, and then I blow dry it. My hair ends up being wavy and full of life! But I have to say, I find that it is over priced and I do not like the nozzle because it give more of a squirt than a nice spray.

I bought this a few weeks ago, before reading about it here, figuring that if real ocean mist helps my baby fine hair, this might too.
It DOES. I'm happy with it. My baby fine short hair likes it. It gives my hair a little more oomph and texture than it normally has. And it gives it small waves, which is something I hadn't expected, but that I like. I'd buy it again, but it looks as if this bottle will last a long time.

This product has me torn. I barely ever use it, but that's just because my hair doesn't suit it too well. If you have fine limp hair that just hangs then this would work great, adding texture. But if your hair is long I can't see this product doing anything useful (that's why I can't use it, the only thing it does is make my hair tangle easier). If I ever get my hair cut into a shorter style again I can definitely see myself using it again. So overall, a reasonable product but only if you have the right hair for it (medium to short style, fine hair in good condition)

I actually like this product very much, contrary to most of the reviewers here. I have straight 'lifeless' hair and any form of wax/paste weighs it down and flattens it even more...... Beach Head works great for me! The trick is to use it with a Hairdryer and when your hair is still damp. The spray nozzle is the GREAT thing about this product. It doesn't give one directional squirt but sprays like a fine mist around the area to ensure the product is evenly distributed. It is meant to give a 'messy' look. It could be rather pricey if the solution is really just a salt and water concoction. Nevertheless, works great for me and am definitely repurchasing.

The spray nozzle on this product does not seem to distribute the product very well. The first day that I wore this I had three people tell me to go comb my hair. I am not kidding. Didn't make my hair wavy, didn't give a beach look. I like John Frieda's product a whole lot better.

I love this product on my coarse, wavey, TR'ed hair. I actually prefer this product (for both function, texture and scent) over John Frieda's Ocean Waves product. It smells divine, gives some beautiful waves and does not weigh my hair down. Oh, and I always finish off with a smoothing down of a couple of pumps of Kerastase Oleo Relax Serum.
