I have naturally short black lashes and have a VERY hard time finding an eyelash curler that I can even get to my lashes with. After trying Avons Curlacious mascara in black I was amazed!! It actually lengthened and curled my lashes!! I am so excited to have found this product! Thank you Avon!!
UPDATE: I have now noticed that it does dry up in the container.

I was a big fan of the superMagnify, superSHOCK, and superExtend mascaras and I opted to try out the cousin of the said mascaras. It looked promising but as soon as I tried it, it clumped up my straight lashes. My lashes are as straight as a ruler but it really did nothing but a little bit of volume. The wand looked rather promising and it could have done better with another formula. I have no idea, but it might work on someone with thicker lashes.

I have tried this product twice and not thrilled about it. It was alright but I felt like it was a little clumpy after only having it for a week. It made my eyelashes longer and curled but i didnt really like the look, and it kinda was thick too but not in a good way,in a sticky way. i like the Avon Extend much better. I wouldnt choose This mascara again, not terrible but not a rebuy for me.

I like the curl.... But this product likes to flake off in to my eyes. NOT so great.... Maybe I just need to use a primer with it? If it was a gift I would use it. But I will not spend my money on this product again.

Another disappointment from Avon. This mascara is VERY clumpy. I used tissue to remove all of the excess mascara from the wand, I actually left very little mascara on the wand, just to be sure and it still clumped like crazy. It barely lengthened my lashes and it didn't curl them at all. Not sure what it is with Avon mascaras but I have not been happy with any of them.

I really like this mascara! The brush is really good because it's able to coat every lash and it's also good for the bottom lashes! The reason why I gave this 4/5 lippies is because it isn't waterproof and the mascara is slightly drier than other mascara's (if that makes any sense). So I would totally recommend this and I would purchase again.

i have short eyelashes and this product gives it great lengths and curls my lashes without using a curler! it does not give me big volume, but enough to show thickness and length. i would be repurchase! i use it along with MAC's plush mascara sometimes if i want a more dramatic look... great product for me!

I am so delighted with this prouduct that I was surprised by the negative reviews. Let me say that I do not like Avon mascaras in general as they tend to clump and flake on me. The only one I will use is the wash off waterproof mascara and only on my lower lashes. For my upper lashes I either use Estee Lauders Sumptious or DiorShow. That is until I tried this product out. I now have long lashes ( thank you RapidLash eye treatment!!) but they grow downwards. I will curl them and 15 minutes later they are down again. Curlacious mascara helps correct this problem and gives me curled lashes all day. While I still have to use an eyelash curler to produce the curl, this mascara holds the curl in place. Really, it is amazing. It does
not clump or flake on me and is easy to remove. I do get length but not volume with this mascara so I always use my fave Estee Lauder eyelash primer with this. The mascara wand is AWESOME. It is perfectly curved to comb and curl up the lashes. After I apply the mascara, I will leave the wand in the lashes and hold it in the curled positiion for 30 seconds or so that the lashes dry in a curled shape. I got this on sale for $4 so it is cheap enough to see if it will work for you.

Curlascious is NOT my favorite mascara of AVON's at all. It clumps, it irritates, and it doesn't curl all that much at all.
If you want a better quality mascara with AVON, go with the Astonishing Lengths, the beComing Swimwear Waterpoof Mascara, or the beComing On The Fringe Mascara. I have been VERY happy with those - though I am pretty much hooked on beComing stuff now instead of regular core AVON products.

The first time I used this, I didn't realize that the brush was shaped differently than others. I ended up poking myself in the eye with the side that stuck out. After that mess was over, I was disappointed with the product. It didn't do anything that my good 'ol lash curler didn't. Except damn near blind me, of course.

Okay. I have really short stubby lashes, and nothing holds a curl at all, so I don't know why I thought this would be different. The shape of the brush coats your lashes really well, So if you already have long lashes it may work better.

The first time i tried this it went on pretty nicely...the the second time, i took out the brush and basically the whole contents was stuck to the brush! i wasn't very impressed. This mascara makes my eyes feel alittle bit irritated and i only noticed a little bit of curl happening. It does clump a bit on my lashes. I will probably use it for a little while longer to see if it goes on better, but i think if ur after a good mascara u need to spend a bit more money. For curling i think the l'oreal ones are good.

While I can't say that this made my eyelashes any curlier, the wand is incredible! I just love how one side is like a normal wand, but the other is like a comb. And the mascara itself doesn't flake off, and it goes on easy without clumping (because of the brush, I think). UPDATE 03/28/03: I actually got brave about a week ago and used this WITHOUT using my eyelash curler (yikes!) I was amazed at how my lashes actually curled up! They looked just like I had used my eyelash curler. So I'm thinking, why damage my eyelashes with a curler when I can get the same results just using this mascara? Plus it saves me time in the morning. A+, my new staple mascara!

I have tried many, many mascaras to make my lashes curl, and this is the only one that has actually worked. And, the most you'll ever pay for it is $6.00 (Avon has lots of sales, though, so you can usually get it for less than that!). I believe that I'm on my 3rd tube & I won't be switching any time soon!
