This product pretty much.... does nothing. I bought this a while ago at a beauty supply store for 50% off. I figured being Paul Mitchell, it had to be at least decent. False! First of all, I'm not sure if it's the oil or whatever in this product, but everytime I use it I have to run out of the room I used it in to avoid coughing, it's the weirdest thing. Secondly, it doesn't detangle. However, it does manage to leave a slight residue on my hair. Honestly, Johnson & Johnson detangler is way better, which is what I will most likely be using from now on.

I bought this because the original PM Detangler began to weigh down my hair. (Not sure if the formula changed, or if my hair changed.) Anywhooo... I thought I'd give this Lite Detangler a try, fully expecting it would be the solve for my problem. Well, this did absolutely nothing to detangle my relaxed, color-treated hair - not even a little bit. Surprising for me because typically I have good success with Paul Mitchell products. Oh well, my quest for a good detangler continues...

This is a really great product for me. I have long, thick hair that gets unruly after I wash it. I only wash my hair twice a week, and what I do is towel dry it as soon as I get out of the shower and wrap it in a towel. Then I take it out of the towel, spray the detangler all over, and comb through. It is not a perfect product, I still struggle with some minor tangling. But it makes a huge difference. I recommend this to people with really thick hair that has a tendency to tangle.

I really like this spray on detangler. I first shampoo with Paul Mitchell Shampoo One, followed by The Detangler, towel dry, then the Lite Detangler to protect my hair from styling tools. It does not weigh my fine hair down and adds shine. Would definately repurchase.

I love htis product. It detangles quickly and easily and is tear free. I have very very thick hair and htis reaches through detangling each strang. Ive heard many people complaining its overuse on fine hair which is interesting since the bottle says for fine to medium hair. It does not color or smell and of all the detanglers I've used this is by far the best. It may not be exciting or anything but basic but why would you want something exciting when its only job is to detangle your hair?
Price: A little pricey actually but nothing to scary :)
Packaging: The pump is a little difficult although it does apply the perfect amount for the distance and is pretty easy to use.
Overall: Great solid product. My favorite detangler. Definetly buy again.

even though i love paul mitchelle i rarely use this because it doesnt detangle and condition like it should and it makes me cough for some reason. paul mitchell is a vegan cruelty free company and i reccomend many of their other products.

This is not bad for my long, fine, wavy hair. It's a nice basic product. I like that it has no smell. It can weigh hair down if too much is used, so I apply it sparingly. It does get the tangles out, that's for sure. So, it does what it says, it's just not a particularly exciting product! A little goes a long way so it's a good value. I have repurchased.

Perfect for very fine, straight hair. I have been using it for years. I really appreciate that it doesn't weigh my hair down but just makes it easy to comb. And it is FRAGRANCE and PARABEN-FREE too.

This did a nice job of detangling, but it made me itch! on the bottle, it says to be careful of staining clothing! would not use again.

I bought in hopes of giving my very dried out hair some relief. All it did was weigh my hair down and make it look dulllllll. I suppose it is just not for those of us with really fine hair!

[Packaging]

appreciate the spray nozzle but usually for my hair, i'll prefer a pump dispenser and apply it straight upon my hair using my hands than to spraying it onto my hair (cuz spraying can be wasteful and in addition makes the floor dirty with the product residue esp those of slightly greasy contents.. YUCKS! what a mess man) In addition, i appreciate that the bottle is slight of a soft plastic as it sorta serve as a grip for me while holding and spraying it (ok, i've relatively small hands & holding bottle firmly hv alwaz been a prob)

[Product Quality]

the scent was fine, slightly pleasant but product wise, tink is weighs my hair down though its supposed to be of lite formula. in addition, my hair stil tangle during the day, etc. in short the product dun work!

[Overall]

kinda waste of $$$, gotta rid of it though can recycle the bottle (tink its gd stuff)

My hairdresser gave me this extra bottle she had laying around because I mentioned that I use infusium and was wondering if that could damage my hair. Well, this stuff is similar but just doesn't condition as well as the Infusium 23 and doesn't make my hair look as shiny and healthy as the Infusium does. So I will definitely not be re-purchasing this.
