I like this moisturizer becauee of the SPF 15 and its lightweight and oil free on your skin! It was part of the "Urban Defense" face care line from a few years ago. I used this along with the detox cocktail wich was pretty good too! This line is no longer available :(

This was great stuff for daytime wear. Too bad it was discontinued. It's so light so it wasn't too thick for my oily skin. It went on smoothly and had aloe which made my foundation glide on like silk! The SPF was nice too. Very very nice, I wish Urband Decay didn't do away with their skincare line. I liked all of it.

This is a great light moisturizer with SPF. It absorbs quickly and has a very light scent. All the UD skincare products were discontinued awhile ago, which is a shame.

I've been using this along with the Detox Cocktail in the mornings. Since DC is a bit moisturizing, combined with Guardian Angel it's about right for my normal skin. GA is very light, watery actually, and I have to be careful or it will run right out of my hand, but I've gotten used to it. I like how it's absorbed quickly and a little goes a long way. I also like how the packaging stands upside down so the last little bit can drain out easily. I would definitely prefer a higher SPF rating, but at least it has something.

I have the oil-free version. This is a very light SPF15 moisterizer. I like it b/c it's not creasy, it absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave you looking shiny or oily. I have tried Neutrogena moisturizer and hated that it made me look so greasy after I put it on. I really like this one. It doesn't have any smell and no matter I much I slather on, it just seems to absorb into my skin. Recommended very much for those who want a light SPF-15 moisturizer. Cost is around $20 for 50mL. I also like the fact that it's not a twist top, makes it easier and faster to use.

This moisturizer isn't amazing and I wouldn't pay $20 for it but I got it for $8 at TJ Maxx and it was worth it. Not greasy and I didn't even get oil free! So that is a plus. It makes my skin soft smooth and It has sunscreen. I'll use it up but I probably wouldn't rebuy as it isn't a whole lot better then Olay Complete, which is much cheaper for much more product. EDIT: Realized this was making my skin sore, which was really strange. Passed it on to a friend with less sensitive skin.

This is a nice lightweight and fast-absorbing facial moisturizer. Probably the least greasy moisturizer with SPF that I've tried. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or break me out. Unfortunately, I just cannot get past the smell. For some reason, it reminds me of dandelions! There's gotta be something else out there! BTW, I've seen it at T.J. Maxx for $7.99.

I bought the oil free version of this, and I love it! I only recently discovered Urban Decay's Urban Defense line of skincare, and so far, it's been great. I have combination skin, and this moisturizer makes my normal cheeks soft, and my t-zone matte. I use this over UD Detox Cocktail. My skin has started looking brighter since I started using it! I'd definitely repurchase (even though it's relatively expensive.)

I bought the oil-free version and while it does have SPF and a nice velvety, matte finish, it caused mild breakouts. It is not moisturizing enough for my combination skin as I had dry patches after a couple hours.

This is the best moisturizer I've ever used (the oil free version). It's super expensive, at $20 for 50mL, but I love it. It's just so well suited to my skin. I normally have very oily skin, and with this on, I can last at least a 1/2 day with my skin *not* looking shiny! Despite being a poor student-type, it's the one beauty product I'd spend the money on.
Edit: So, I've since upgraded my skincare ($20 for moisturizer? eh, heh. I no longer flinch, actually it's quite reasonable), and no longer use this. I still think it's an excellent moisturizer though.

I got this as a trial set which included several Urban Decay products. I like this lotion, a little goes a long way, it's pretty heavy on my skin. I hate the packaging. Half of the lotion keeps seeping out of the tube. I have to lay the bottle on it's side instead of they way it's meant to stand. Overall I like the lotion and will buy again sometime in the future.

I received a sample from Muaer and i wanted to love this but i can't stand the horrible smell of this moisturizer. Guardian Angel also make me break out horribly and leave my skin super shiny. I think i should try the Oil Free Formula instead of the normal formula.

This stuff is great - light and smooth, a cool, pleasant scent, easily and quickly absorbed and unlike most oil-free lotions, does not sit on top of my skin after applying. I got it as part of the Trial set which includes Zen Cleanse and the Urban Defense toner, both of which I recommend as heartily as this. I love that it's in a sanitary container as well, which means it won't spoil faster than you can use it up. Well worth the dollars!

I received a sample of this as a swap extra and fell in love! I have combo skin, dry in most areas, yet acne around my jawline, and this is the best moisturizer I have found this far! It's oil free, bu makes my skin feel sooo nice! I love the flip-top cap packaging, but on a down side...I can't hardly stand the smell. YUK!! But...overall, the scent soon fades and all is well with the world again! Worth trying if you don't mind forking over the $20. But if you're like me...you'd pay just about anything to have great skin!

Guardian Angel is one of my best purchases of the year. It's a light moisturizer, it's almost watery *but* it moisturizes wonderfully. It makes my skin soft and glowy... This is a HG staple. So the texture is amazing - thin, breathable... The scent is good - It smells lightly of aloe, it fades quickly... It sinks in immediately and does not feel greasy or overwhelmingly suffocating. I can't say enough good things about this! It's a bit expensive - $20 for 1.7oz, but a little goes a long way and it's worth it for me. Like I said, this is one of the best investments I've made for my skin this year. I spend a lot of money on makeup, and have just realized it's important to invest in wonderful skin products as well. The lotions I have been using from the drugstore [Neutrogena and Oil of Olay especially] have been ruining my skin. [23 years old, Combination Skin]

This could be my HG sunscreen/moisturizer!! I've been using a sample of this (the oil-free version) for about a week now, since my other sunscreen (Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock in SPF30) broke me out horribly. Let me tell you, this Guardian Angel works wonders!!! It is a super light and fresh lotion that absorbs into my skin and makes my face GLOW! Not a greasy glow, but a healthy, natural one. Plus, my foundation glides right over this with no problems and looks great all day long--no shiny face! So far this hasn't broken me out, which is a very good thing for me because I normally have a problem with cystic acne. Since my sample is almost gone and my face is looking so great lately with this product, I will definitely go out and spend the $20. I've tried so many other brands, and they cannot even compare to this!! A small price to pay for great-looking skin!!

Excellent product. It's lighter in texture than any other moisturizer I've used lately, and it absorbs quickly and actually keeps my face more matte than usual. I love the name, too, of course! It doesn't cost any more than an equivalent-size bottle of Olay Total Effects, so I think that $20 is just what we have to pay for a good-quality oil-free lotion with sunblock.

I do like this product. It's great for oily skin but after almost finishing the entire bottle, I don't see any difference in my skin. Maybe I'm asking too much but I'm starting to ask myself how is this different from oily of olay or any other cheaper brand.

YolandaMC recommended this to me when I was asking for a lightweight moisturizer with SPF for oily skin. This product meets my needs perfectly! It never makes me oily or greasy, but still moisturizes the dryer part of my face. And most importantly, it has SPF!
The only thing I would change about this product is the high price. $20 is a lot to pay for the small amount you get. =(

Guardian Angel is the perfect name for this moisturizer because it truly is my Guradian Angel *grin* I use the Oil-Free version and it has truly worked miricles on my complexion. I rarely break out anymore where as before I had at least 4 or 5 at all times on my face. My skin is softer and the tone of my skin is more even and radiant. I can't say enough about it I will never give this moisturizer up! If only you would get more for your money that is the only thing that could be improved. But luckily you don't really need but less than a dime sized amount to moisturize your entire face still more is always nice. :) Another fabulous product from Urban Decay!!
