Whenever I wear Bare Minerals eye shadows, in general, I always get compliments. I have really big, dark brown eyes. Dark as in you can't see my pupils. I'm olive skinned, but in the winter I am a lot lighter since there is no sun/warm weather to tan with where I live. Honestly, when I first looked at this color in the container I thought it was a sort of taupe/purplish color. I'm still not quite sure what color it is exactly once it is applied. I wouldn't classify it as "brown" however. This color has so much dimension to it, you could practically say almost any color can be seen within it. As far as people saying it's too dark to use as a eyelid color, I disagree. Maybe it's because I tend to prefer medium shades on my lids because my eyes are so dark. I feel that really light colors don't compliment my eyes as well as darker ones do. I'll only use really light colors as a highlight under my brows or in the inner corners/inner eye. Anyways, this is a gorgeous color and I like how it looks paired with Wild Ruby (part of a past holiday collection) and Sex Kitten in the crease. It would probably work with any other shade that has a plum/taupe/brown undertone.

I love Bare Escentuals eye shadows. This one was nice, but much too dark for a base (which was the type of brown colour I was looking for). When I tried to blend it with a lighter colour, I found the Queen Tiffany shade didn't blend well when I tried to spread it across my crease. Just looked like a dark brown smear rather than the nice shimmery sweepy look I wanted. It's too bad; nice colour, but too hard to work with.

Love this...pairs perfectly with BE "Soul" for a dramatic look or with "Vanilla Sugar" for a softer/daytime look.
Con: Do wish this had the sifter thou, I know some of the newer eye colors have that included so there is less spill.
Pro: Color is great for my light skin, blue/green eyes!

I couldn't apply this with any precision whatsoever. It was just all over the place. Very very messy. I was so dissapointed.

I didn't notice much of a difference between this color and BE Summer. Additionally, I felt the same about this color as I did about Summer: Even with the best of eye shadow primers (and actually, BE does make a great one), this would go all over the place. If you put sparkle as a quality above all else when it comes to eyeshadow, you might be happy. However, I don't like sparkly shadows (only light shimmer at the most), and I don't like shadows that are so rich in fall-out value!

Beautiful shimmery brown, fantastic for lid or crease. The shimmer is super finely milled so it looks wet, not glittery.

A stunning taupey brown with gold shimmer. Looks great on the lid with a brow highlight for a simple smokey look. I hate the packaging as you have to do the whole sift, swirl, tap routine. Much rather swipe across an eyeshadow pan,but I love the color. I'll rebuy unless I can find a dupe by MAC or Stila. EDIT: I had to add another lippie to this as the luminosity of this shadow is out of this world. Just a soft glow w/o any frostiness. Just amazing! It's my favorite lid shade currently even with having several taupe/light brown shades to choose from in my collection of MAC and in my UD Naked pallatte. I'm getting a hand on the packaging too, though I still wish I could get this in pan form.

The most gorgeous shade of brown ever! I adore BE eyecolors..they are simply the best. I don't understand when people say they are messy and they get glitter all over their face...if that's the case then you are doing it wrong! If you swirl the brush in a small amount of the product in the lid, and tap it off you will have no fall-out. I use nothing but BE and never have ANY mess or fall-out.

This eyeshadow is a must have for me! I love the beautiful shimmer and color and the fact that it isn't too much for daytime. Definately looks beautiful on my brown eyes, it's simply a stunning color and I love that all the BE eyeshadows last such a long time even with daily use. :)

This is one of those eyeshadows I purchased because I wanted to buy something, and it turns out to be something I can't live without. First, the micro glitter seems to be too much when first applied, but it quickly dies down and you can't even really tell there is glimmer in it. The brown eyeshadow is GORGEOUS. It makes my blue eyes seem bluer, it goes with any eyeliner, and any outfit. It is so versatile. It packs onto my lids really nicely, and does not crease at all during the day. The loose shadow and container took me awhile to get used to, but now that I'm used to it, it is not difficult to use.

Wow, what a beautiful color! I was given a sample of this as an extra in a swap and loved it so much when I tried it that I went to ulta and bought it right away. Its a perfect mid brown with just the right amout of shimmer. Its a perfect crease color. It is very subtle when applied over a regular non colored e/s primer but when applied over udpp in sin it is so vibrant and just perfect! Definitly HG and despite my aversion to loose e/s I will be using this alot!

How to describe Queen Tiffany...When I opened the container at Sephora it looked like a neutral brown shimmer which a sort of light blue shift which was definitely a selling point for me. When I got it home I put it on with my Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin, and while I don't get that little shift anymore, I get a lot of shimmery color which I adore. It's great for an every day look and it makes my brown eyes really stand out. All hail the Queen.

This shadow is so pretty! I like to put something light on the lid and then fade it out with queen tiffany.

This is my new favorite eyeshadow/glimmer. I used to wear the nude beach shade a lot, but this has much more depth and really makes the green in my eyes stand out due to the copper tint.

Another great BE eyeshadow. This shade and Pussycat both compliment blue eyes wonderfully. Primer is a must! A staple in my collection, but I still have so much left it would take me years to use it all up, hopefully BE will still have it in the future!

I am not a huge fan of BE eyeshadows, since I prefer a pressed shadow but I bought this at Sephora on a whim. It leans towards being a copper brown shade with lots of shimmer. I love the shimmer but hate the fallout. I usually use this all over the lid with faux mink in the crease and nude beach as highlight. This is a very VERY close dupe for Mac's impassioned solar bits.
UPDATE: I send mine into be pressed by "Pressed Like Shadow" and LOVE it more than ever now. I still have some fallout, but nothing like before when it was loose. Plus now I use tons less.

OMG! This is my new FAVORITE eyeshadow. So smooth, blendable, and the color is absolutely gorgeous and wearable. I use this in the crease & outer-v or all over the lid. I've been avoiding all BE products, b/c I hated their foundation and primer, but I got this after seeing all the positive reviews and I'm soooo glad I did (thank you MUA)! The only problem is that it's a loose shadow and I prefer the portability of pressed shadows.

This is a really pretty, sparkly, sheer light brown shadow. The sparkles are super fine so you don't see chunks but lots of shimmering and glimmering if that makes sense. If you're looking for a lot of pigment this probably isn't for you, but once it's on it has a subtle pretty shine to it that is still wearable for daytime. I can always appreciate a neutral-colored sparkly shadow that is wearable!
