I like this body lotion a lot. It goes on nicely, absorbs quickly, and smells yummy! I dont get dry skin so i like that its not too heavy or greasy, its very light so I can wear it in the summer. Did I mention how lovely this smells?

I am not a body lotion type of person. I have no idea when I will be able to use up the whole bottle. The scent is interesting to me because it is a combination of cucumber and melon. It is fresh while sweet at the same time. I find it to be quite pleasant though.

The lotion itself is light but gives enough hydration. It takes a bit time for my skin to absorb it all in but it is not sticky or greasy. I bough it on sale and for the price, it is a huge bottle. The design of the pump on top is easy to use as well.

Anouther great product by St. Ives! Great quality for the price.
Pros- cheap, smells great, makes skin soft.
Cons- does not absorb fast.

I defenitly recemend this!!

I bought this lotion on a whim just the other day. For $4.45 that's pretty good. Usually I use the Oatmeal and Shea butter lotion which I like, but I wanted something different. After my shower that night I used the lotion and it smelled so good! The next day, I noticed how soft my skin was. It's amazing because usually it takes more than one use of lotion for it to feel so smooth. I just bought this, but as soon as it is used up, I will make another purchase.

Fruity scents are my favorite and this lotion does not disappoint. It smells fruity, fresh, clean and lingers on my skin for a very long time afterward. Its extremely moisturizing and when rubbed into the skin good its not greasy. I love slathering this on my feet and putting them in fuzzy socks over night...makes my feet feel incredibly soft. The bottle was pretty decent price for the size and its lasting me a long time. Its my favorite full body lotion. I will definitely repurchase!

Fresh scent...and a little fruity of course! It has a thin and smooth texture. I haven't worn this lotion for a few years, but I remember it being very soothing on burned and dry skin. (I'm pretty sure it's the cucumber extract or whatever it is.) I like how enormous the bottle it comes in is, too. Lasts for years... (I better check the expiary date on mine!) This lotion would be awesome for avid-lotion users.

i really liked the smell of this lotion and i love the convenient pump bottle. the price is cheap and it's easy to find.

however, i am a recent convert to watkins lemon lotion... but i would still highly recommend the cucumber melon lotion

Found this at the 98 cent store. This smells refreshing but light, absorbs quickly, and it pretty dang cheap. Great stuff.

I can't ever see myself straying from this product as an everyday moisturizer! I bought it on a whim and am thankful I did.


I have been using St Ives moisturizers for many years now, but usually stuck with their Vitamin E Advanced Therapy lotion. But I was given a tube of Avon's Cucumber Melon shower gel for Christmas and LOVE the scent. When I went to refill on lotion, I saw this kind and wanted to try it purely for the smell. Not only does it smell incredible, but it is 10x better for my skin!


I don't know what word I can use for the exact opposite of greasy (well, non-greasy, I guess), but this product is it! It actually squeaks over my skin in the manner off rinsing off soap in the shower. It absorbs in a snap and leaves my skin with a soft, dewy touch. Even after a full day of school and work, I will get a nice whiff of it every so often. Not my hands, but the rest of my body is left moisturized all day. I usually apply once in the morning and once at night, and find my skin is softer than ever.


I can't wait to try this out in the heat of the summer. It is so refreshing to the touch, I'm sure it'll save me from the scorching sun out on the water.

Well, I personally love this product, but i only use it as a hand cream and it is fabulous! it feels so soothing and the smell is nice too. the only problems are that is didn't hold moisture too long, but my aching hands were relaxed with this gentle product. Also, the nozzle broke, which made me very unhappy. Otherwise, great product.

Perfect as a light moisturizer! It's got a light gel-like consistency and it spreads and absorbs very well. It has silicone in it so it doesn't feel 'creamy' on the skin, just smooth and soft. I have normal skin on my body so this works great, but if you have very dry skin this probably isn't enough for you. I normally hate scented products but this stuff smells very light and fresh. I tried using it as a face moisturizer but I couldn't stand the smell on my face! The best part? It's dirt cheap!!!

awesome lotion, it's light and refreshing, not greasy, and smells like melon... good for summertime when you need a light moisturizer.. will repurchase since it's so dirt cheap.. at 3 dollars CDN for a huge bottle!

Very nice lotion. It's not greasy and it absorbs quickly. Leaving your skin smooth and touchable. It doesn't last long, but it's very cheap. The big bottle I bought will last around a year. It's not thick like cream but very good at nourishing the skin. I love this product.

We're going through a heat wave right now, and this stuff is the perfect consistency for the hot summer weather. The lotion is fairly thin but does a good job of moisturizing, and the smell is great.

Well I really like this. It's so light and easy to spread - has a gel-cream texture. It does a pretty good job in moisturising my skin as well - in fact when I tested this on one half of my body and Dove Ultimate Silk (in pot) on the other half, this one surprisingly was the one that kept my skin softer. Now that it's summer I like this very much. My only complaint is the smell - too synthetic and a bit too strong. But I can live with that for now.

Bought this during my Cucumber & Melon scent phase. It smells good, quite refreshing, but in terms of application, I must admit that it was another greasy mess. I found it easier to apply compared to the Vanilla one, but still felt the film on top of my skin after. Will not be repurchasing.

Based on these reviews here I bought this lotion. I am not so satisfied with it though. It is not as moisturizing as it should be. I thought I have "dry skin", but I guess "dry skin" means "normal skin" for this St. Ives body lotion.
It is not fair, they say it works if you have dry and rough skin, but it does nothing, not even to my normal to dry skin. Anyway, now I know better and wont buy any St. Ives body lotions again.

Very nice product with a refreshing, clean smell. Having a light consistency allows this moisturizer to spread well and absorb quickly into the skin. Keeps skin soft for the entire day. Cheap and effective--perfect product!
