I'm surprised by the low ratings because this cleanser melts the makeup right off and my face isn't dry. This might be it for me because the price is right and its availability.

I love this -- cheap, very gentle but it gets everything off, including BB gel eyeliners. Leaves my face very soft and smooth. Never any irritation. Doesn't smell like anything to me. It doesn't foam or sting my eyes. No drama. Perfect.

Gentle cream cleanser. It does get off eye makeup, I use it with cotton ball to remove it near the eye area. It seems more gentle than Cetaphil to me.

Update on the packaging... I went to Target on 10/16 and looked at the cleanser. Sure enough, the packaging has changed and the bottle does not break. Hooray.

My bottle split down the side, too! I would consider buying this cleanser again if it was in better packaging. I also found that too much product comes out of the actual top opening as well. I would like the cleanser better if the consistency was a bit thicker.

I don't understand the negative reviews this cleanser has gotten. I love this stuff. It is gentle and creamy, gets every speck of foundation off my face, and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. It is like Cetaphil but actually removes makeup. I love the sleek packaging too. Will purchase again.
update: after a few uses the bottle split on the side! So now whenever I squirt out a little from the top, some oozes out the side. Extremely annoying, but I'll still buy this again on the off chance that it was just a bad bottle.

This works as a nice morning cleanser to get the overnight oil off my face but I wouldn't recommend it for taking off makeup. I'm guessing it's supposed to be a cream cleanser but it's rather thin and watery as compared to my Origins Pure Cream. Plus, the bottle is VERY annoying to use. Overall, I'd have to say pass on this.

I liked this cleanser, but was annoyed with the bottle. I kept it in my shower to use in the morning, but all of the writing flaked off the outside and got all over. Will not buy again - too messy!

This is a nice gentle cleanser, which cleanses makeup better than cetaphil-including eye make-up. (but not waterproof). On the downside, it has a slightly unpleasent smell.

Personally, I love this product! It doesn't smell great - but that's because it doesn't have any fragrance added (it doesn't smell *bad*, either). It doesn't have any botanical ingredients in it, which for me is a plus - I'm allergic to many of the things that get tossed into beauty products for no good reason that I can see. This is a great cleanser - a little goes a long way, and you can use it over your eyes to remove makeup. Using it twice a day, an $8 bottle lasts about 2-3 months. My main quibble with it is the label - the wording on it began flaking off within a couple of weeks. Unlike the other components of the Kashuk skincare line, the cleanser bottle has a good design, but since it's going to get wet, it would be a good idea to put a label on it that could tolerate that! However, I just took the label off and that was the end of that. Otherwise I would have given the packaging a 5 as I like the flip-top. I'm really happy with this for my sensitive skin and hope Target never changes it! (Unlikely but one can hope)

This is just a lotion cleanser, pure and simple. It's a creamy white lotion with no fragrance. Doesn't really "melt away" makeup (like it claims to) better than any other cleanser of this type. It's an okay product, but I don't see any difference between this and other lotions cleansers (FYI: It feels almost exactly like Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser, and costs about $2.00 more.)
No big whoop, really. But I guess it's worth a try if you like gentle lotion cleansers and like Sonia Kashuk's other skincare products.

When i read the packaging i was so impressed: it promises to 'melt' away your makeup, even on the eyes! who wouldnt want that?? well too bad it doesnt do what was promised. it removed most of my foundation, but by the time i had dried my face and looked in the mirror, i had total racoon eyes, along with black streaks all over my towel. i had to use a separate eye makeup remover, which is such a hassle when your facial cleanser promises to do it all. The cleanser, which is in a squirt-type bottle as opposed to a pump,is very hard to control, but no amount will take off all your makeup. The cleanser itself also has a mediciney-type smell to it, not unlike that of a veterinary office. weird. also, about the bottle, the plasticy label tends to peel off in sheets when it gets wet, leaving you with pink and blue chunks on your hands that then get transfered to your face, then towel, then wherever else. all in all, there are way too many cons to even consider buying this product again.

I wanted so badly to love this product - I really need a cleanser that removes at least SOME of my waterproof mascara. Sadly this is no better at removing mascara than any other cleanser I've tried and it's drying. I won't be buying it again.

PROS: This nonfoaming cleanser removed my makeup. Sort of. It didn't pass the toner afterwards test. That's the only way I can really tell if something removed ALL my makeup. You are not supposed to need a toner with this cleanser. CONS: I needed a toner to get all my makeup off (I wear mineral foundation). Further it stung my eyes. Finally, it broke me out terribly -- the worst breakout I've had in months maybe even a year, after one week straight of twice daily use. I gave it a 1 for packaging because the lettering came off in weird pink chunks on my hands each time I used it. Honestly I'd pass on this; it's not cheap if you add the cost of a derm visit. I'm astounded by the positive reviews that precede mine. Maybe I've got beyond weird skin, so YMMV!

I really like this gentle cleanser and I have very oily skin. I don't even have to use any toner or lotion afterward. I think when I need to tracel, I'll definitely bring this one. Although it doesn't foam, my face feels extremely soft and clean afterward.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and am amazed how good my skin has looked. I usually go for more expensive cleaners, but decided to give this a try. I'm really glad I did. I have combo skin (oily t-zone, occasional beakouts) and have seen a real improvement in the condition of my skin.
EDIT: I had positive remarks to begin with, BUT after about a month, my skin starting breaking out terribly. I stopped using it and my skin cleared up. Too bad.

I've been using this morning and night for about 2 days. So far so good. Only complaint - it's a tad drying. It's a bit expensive but if I could buy just this and not a separate make-up remover, cleanser, and toner that would be great. I'd prefer it in a pump too. Oh it also doesn't lather, which I know doesn't make you cleaner, but I like lather. :)

I have been using this for about two weeks since finding it upon my travails at Target. I am excited that SK is venturing into the skincare market, that said, on to the review! Well, it is a 3-in-1 lotion that really does dissolve all makeup, all mascara, and leaves my skin clean, fresh and not tight. I really like product as well. My only caveats: that is not in a pump (which I think would be more practical), it was approximately $7.99 ( I can't remember exactly, but no more than $9.99) which is not exactly as cheap as some of the drugstore brands (for the amount, at least: 6 fl. oz). But, it is about the same price as the Cetaphil cleanser. However, it does do more; I find that many times with the cetaphil I have to rewash or use a toner, not so with this one. So, it does save money. It left my skin truly glowing,b tw. I know it's helped with my skin's ph level (it has definitely helped with breakouts, etc.). I plan to repurchase, though. Oh, she did come out with eye cream (with shea butter, etc.) and a moisturizer that I also plan to try eventually! Totally recommend this, though!
I would've liked this with a pump and for a little bit less...
