My favorite hand lotion!
I have mild skin sensitivity and find that this leaves my hands moist and wonderful.

This is probably the richest lotion I have found on the market. My dry arms and legs tend to get scaly and itchy and this quenches them beautifully.
The texture is odd (a bit creamy which becomes slightly greasy) but fine with me. After applying, the lotion leaves a beautiful sheen. Just avoid sheets and silk clothing. This works!

This is a staple in my household. I mostly use it on my son's skin. Now that he is almos four and he loves the outdoor so I have to make that his skin is hydrated each day. Aside from the sunscreen, this a great cream for him. It's a bit too thick for my own daily use but I do use it on elbow, knees and heels about twice a week. It is really an intensive repair for dry skin. My son was ill for about a week and his lips were chapped so bad that they started to peel. I ran to our nearest drugstore and ask the pharmacist what I can put on his lips since he didn't like any of the shea butter lip products I had. She told me to use this on his lips. I ran back home since I have two of these and immediately and gently patted some on his lips. I was amazed because within the hour, his lips were no longer chapped or peeling. They were already on the mend. By the following day, there was no sign of chapped lips. Let me tell you, as a mom, that is a miracle cure. It is very thick and a bit sticky to put on a 4 year-old but it's worth every effort and each night I smudge this on his lips and mine,as well. It's great to use if you've been working in the garden or quilting. It's a great therapy when your hands needs them most.

Huge help for my kp bumps on the back of my arms. The formula is thick like other reviewers said. However, this product does really work! If the thickness bothers you...I saw they have a newer version of this and it says something like "New Fast Absorbing Formula."
Haven't tried it yet but I will probably purchase that one when the bottle I have now runs out.

I am shocked that this didnt get better reviews. Like others said, this is a dream come true for people with KP (like myself). I use it at night after my shower and I stay bump free for about 24 hrs. Some complained about the consistency, I love it. I need a heavy product when I get severe dry skin, otherwise the results dont last. Secondly, it is marketed as a 'creme,' so what did you expect? I am sold on this product, I will definitely repurchase!

This lotion helps the KP bumps on my arm. I do not like the texture, it does not rub in smoothly. It does help exfoliate when I use it on my hands and feet. Not a holy grail, but a good moisturizer with no scent.

I bought this a few days ago to hopefully get rid of my dry LOOKING legs. I like that it makes my skin look and feel a lot better and healthier, but it does take a while for it to absorb. The consistency isn't that bad. It says it's fragrance free, but I can detect some kind of smell to it and I can't stand it. Is it the scent of "unfragranced" lotions? I don't know but I don't like it.

I agree that it feels and looks greasy on the skin, but it definitely works. I use it every day in the colder months (live in NYC) and whenever my skin is dry. My skin tends to get really itchy with dry patches on my calves when it gets below a certain temperature, and this is the only lotion that prevents that. It also makes my skin super smooth. Definitely use sunscreen when you're outside for an extended period of time. Skin is much more sensitive to the sun when using this product. Don't wear it if you're about to put on silk, that's for sure. However, it does seep in; just takes time and leaves a very healthy glow. It's too rich/thick in summertime, but it's my favorite product for winter-even use it at night on my face before going to bed. In the fall/spring months, mixing it with another lighter lotion works well, too.

Im a hairdresser and having my hands in contact with chemicals and in and out of water + winter time made them discustiiing!! They were dry, cracked and bleeding. I went to get this lotion in the hand cream but couldnt find it so I got this instead. Within maybe 2 or 3 days my hands were perfect. Moisturized, soft and all redness was gone. I dont know what id do without this stuff!!
Im glad I did get this in the body lotion because I use it all over right when I get out of the shower (yes, it does have a bad texture for spreading all over) BUT my skin has never been so soft, I swear it glows, it looks so healthy. I will continue and continue to repurchase. Best lotion Ive ever used.

I only used once. Find that the creme is extremely thick and sticky like glue! It can't be absorbed into my skin. I really don't like the texture. But there are so many good reviews below. I will try to used it again.

Pros: *This lotion is very moisturizing.
*It is fragrance free
Cons: *The consistency is runny
* Does not work much better than lesser expensive lotions with alpha hydroxy ie. jergens skin smoothing lotion.
Verdict: I expected more out of an alpha hydroxy lotion. Does moisturize, but I will keep looking.

First of all, this lotion is extraordinarily thick and gross and it takes literally forever to absorb. In fact, I think that it doesn't really "absorb" like other lotions. It just sits there until you put clothing over it and it gets blotted down and/or rubbed off. Because of the thickness of the lotion, it takes forever to spread and rub in over large areas of skin and makes the clothing that comes in contact with the lotion kind of greasy. As undesirable as all this is, it definitely WORKS. I had keratosis pilaris pretty badly on my thighs, and extremely dry patches of skin on my arms and stomach, and this made my skin much, much better after a few faithful applications. With fairly consistent use, my skin conditions went away completely. I recommend using this right before you go to bed, so at least you're only getting your pajamas a little greasy and not your real clothes. Also, this gives the lotion lots of time to absorb without getting rubbed off much.

Ugh...I am sure this might work well for dry skin problems, but this is the most disgusting-feeling cream I've ever used. I can put it on at night and it's still not absorbed by morning. It is so sticky and thick.

I purchased this in hopes that it would help me with the KP bumps on my arms, but unfortunately, this didn't really help me. I used this at night because it seems to just sit on top of my skin and not absorb. I do like that this has no scent, but the results just weren't good enough for me to repurchase.

I was born premature and I was kept alive in an incubator for the first 6 months of my life. Ever since then I always had alot of bumps on my arms similar to razor bumps (even though I didnt ever shave). My dermatologist said the only thing I could do was put moisturizer on it frequently and hope it goes away, so I did that ever since I was 12 and it never went away. A couple of weeks ago I was in the drug store and I happend to pick this up, I noticed It said that it is proven to get rid of bumps on dry skin. I bought it, still very skeptical, and I made sure that the store would allow me to return it if I brought it back a few days later. THIS CREAM IS HEAVEN IN A TUBE FOR ME!! When I first put it on the redness of the bumps dramatically calmed down, I applied it frequently a few times a day for about a week, and now the bumps I thought I had to live with are COMPLETLY gone!!! My skin looks completly back to normal! I am soo amazed by this product, my dumb luck that this cure was around for all this time and nobody, not even my dermatologist new about it.. I really wish I took a picture before I started using it and how it looks now, but I cannot say enough that this product is a miracle. Now it is kind of greasy but I dont mind that, now I only use it at night and use regular moisturizer during the day. Also what I like about this is in the begining I used alot of it but now I can use a pea sized drop on each arm and it is still keeping those bumps away! I paid 12 dollars for it, but I would have easily paid 100 for something this effective so I will say it is quite cheap for what it does.. Anyway I hoped I helped but I should stop typing now because i know im gonna repeat over and over how good this stuff is, I just hope they dont stop making it!

Bought it based on recommendations and reviews to help with dry skin and Keratosis pilaris on my arms. My skin is extremely pale and sensitive to the sun and this does exaggerate my reaction to it. Sunblock is an absolute must if you're sensitive/very pale! I haven't seen a real improvement in near two weeks of use. It's very oily, thick like glue and tends to cling to clothing if you don't let it air dry for some time before dressing or blot off the extra. I have had to wash it off several times because my skin turns very pink/red after use if I have showered recently.
It has no smell after it is absorbed, which I liked over the AmLactin my doctor recommended (which outright stinks), but between the lack of results and heavy feeling this lotion has I doubt I would buy it again. Oily skin is not a cure for dry or bumpy skin!

There is NO scent to this product. whoever said that is needs to see an ENT specialist because there is simply NO smell whatsoever. none. nada.
YES it is thick and a tad greasy, but it is meant for people with keratosis pilaris or severely dry skin who NEED this extra "greasy" moisture. i dab a little on my face and body in the morning, mixed with Cetaphil cream, so it is less thick, and in the evenings i put this stuff on thick and alone.
The first day I bought it I brough6t it home and I put it on my arms-- that evening, only a few hours later, my friend commented on how smooth and fantastic my arms looked--i'm a huge skeptic when it comes to products that promise vast improvement on one's skin, but this one does it! i'm simply amazed and thoroughly PLEASED by the benefits i've reaped in such a short period of time.

I have keratosis pilaris on my arms and it has been very irritating to exfoliate everyday. I now use this. It's wonderful! Since the texture is a little thick, I wet my upper arms a little bit before applying the creme. Then it is much easier to spread thoroughly all over my arm. I have only used this for 2 weeks but my skin is BUMP FREE. i am so happy that it worked and will definetly purchase again.
remember: apply sunscreen everyday no matter where you are going. even if you are running around doing errands and won't be out in the sun too much you should still apply sunscreen when using this product.

I have keratosis pilaris in the back of my arms. I've read somewhere that this product is supposed to treat or help with the bumps. Ive been using this for awhile, for me it didnt really help much. The bumps are pretty much still there. I started using this on my feet though. Before I sleep, I slather this on my feet and put socks on, I wake up with really soft smooth feet!

I purchased a bunch of samples of Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Plus Intensive Repair cream. I wash my hands a gazillion times at work, use alcohol based anti-bacterial gel and am constantly wearing Nitrile gloves. My hands really take a toll and seem to be losing their softness and get irritated fast. I have to say, I have tried an array of products and this beats them all hands down. Literally. Gentle, I cannot detect a scent and completely amps up the look and softness. On initial application it is a tad heavy and takes a bit to absorb.( I can see where the references to comparing this to glue apply) The payoff for my hands is worth it. I wish I could purchase this in Canada. Highly recommend.
