I bought this in Brown Suede and love the color, and how easily it glides on, but as other reviewers have noted, this does not have the staying power of something with "Infinite" in the name! I have had no problem with sharpening or crumbling, but would say there are better products out there that stay on longer, such as Make Up For Ever's Aqua Eyes, or Clinique's Quickliner for Eyes.

I only bought this because first it was buy one get one free so along with this I got my Voluminus mascara which I love. I thought this eyeliner would be another great loreal product.
Yuk! I applied it to my water line and little specks were all over my eyeball,. I applied to the top lid and yuck again, smeared everywhere. Also after one use I had to sharpen the pencil and I couldn't make a point and when I did id melted off and wore down so fast.
Hey atleast it wasn't dry and too hard to apply but this was just too MUSHY!
Update: I bought NYC waterproof eyeliner and paid like 2 bucks for it and it is really black and stays!

I bought this in Emerald and the color is the only good thing about this product. This Emerald shade is a gorgeous bright green with a bit of a blue tint to it. Poor texture - broke off in a chunk when I used it the second time. Also when I apply it goes on patchy - too waxy I think. I had the same issue as another reviewer where when work on lower lids, the product basically disappears very quickly and so I can wear it successfully only on the top lid. I definately am looking for suggestions on similar eyeliner colors in another better quality product.

I have to agree to the majority of reviewers, I LOVE how easily this goes on, very smooth and NO tugging (I tend to have some crepiness on my eyelids). BUT I also have to agree with the Infinity name being misrepresented here. I bought it in Emerald (LOVE the color HG for me) but it smudges like crazy on my bottom lashes. It stays on my top lashes great, but seems to be halfway down my cheek after a half hour or so. I'm not very impressed with the price, seems a bit expensive for only being able to use on top lashline only. I would have given this 5 lippies if not for the crazy smudging. If only I could find this same color in another product...any suggestions? P.S., I have only sharpened it once, and it didn't crumble, will have to see if I have a problem next time.

I also purchased this in Brown Suede- I really wanted to love this liner because it's a very flattering soft brown - not too black and not too red- almost a smoky taupey brown, and "sueded" is a good way to describe the texture. I also like how smooth it goes on and it's easy to apply. However, it does smudge like crazy and does sheer out. Best way to use it is either as a smoker for smokey eyes with a darker shadow on top, or to use it as a base for powder liner or other E/S you are using to line. I haven't had breakage problems with it during sharpening. I keep this one in my purse for on the go use. That way, if it breaks, melts or gets knocked around, I won't cry.

This pencil went on well and lasted all day. The color Ebony is a dark black and never faded or turned grey. I liked the powder texture and have had no problems sharpening it.

I have this in Brown Suede and I love the daytime-appropriate smokey-eyed look I can create with it. I prefer pencils to shadows so I also like the product concept. I haven't had any issues with it being crumbly or breaking. I do think it is a bit pricey, but it works for me, and that's reason enough to buy it again.

I'm surprised at how much I like this eyeliner. I bought this in Ebony, which is supposed to be black but appears to be more of a dark gray. That's fine beacause with more pressure while applying it, it comes out as a soft black. It smudges beautifully, and gives my eyes a nice smoky look. I'm not sure about it's staying power, because I've only been wearing it for about 15 minutes, but I just liked it so much I wanted to write a review right away. The only flaw is that it's a pencil that has to be sharpened, and it doesn't come with a sharpener. But that's just my laziness, and not really a flaw in the product. All in all, my new favorite eyeliner! EDIT: This eyeliner is really amazing, it can even do magic tricks- it disappears in less than an hour.

Eww. Bad product. I got this in "Brown Swede". Beautiful packaging, looks so high-end, but the product itself "sucks". It breaks off SO easily, and when you sharpen it, you keep on breaking the lead 'til you've wasted about half the pencil. Worst eyeliner I've ever tried. Would not repurchase. Oh, did I mention it smudges like heck?!

Have it in Ebony and I love it, love it, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! When used for a straight line it does tend to move a bit, but I smudge the crap out of it, hence my love for it, it's the perfect base for dark shadows or just to line, smudge and go,

Well, I am generally satisfied with the results I get from this pencil. It does give a smoky eye, but can smear so you have to be careful. I bought it more for daily use and wear liquid for more party/social occasions. That works well enough for me.

I absolutely adored this eyeliner when I first got it. It goes on smoothly and the color is AMAZING - I used "Emerald". However, it was a splurge for me even w/ the discount at Target and it DOESN'T LAST! I think I used this eyeliner for maybe two months, if that, and now it's down to a tiny stub. I just can't afford to keep shelling out the big bucks for this so often so I switched to Apt.5 in EL-13. The color's not as good as L'Oreal's but it lasts me a heck of a lot longer and it's much cheaper. However, if you can afford it you'll love it.

I purchased this for 8.99 CAD at shoppers drug mart. I bought this eyeliner in the shade EMERALD because it looked like a beautiful teal, and when I used the tester (the brown one) on my hand, it glided like silk. So points for not tugging my eye first of all! I don't think it's smudged on me yet, and I've been wearing this for about 9 hours already, so it's doing quite a good job. However, I dislike how soft it is and the creaminess ends up getting the colour al over the cap and on the pencil. Sometimes it's so creamy that the tip just sorta melts or bends? and doesn't show any colour on my eyes. I do wish that it came with a smudger tho, and perhaps a sharpener. I think the next liner I'm gonna try would be Lise Watier's in Lilas instead of this line's in Lilac.

This did not last long on me. During application it was messy and tended to smear. I used ebony and it looked a bit more like a dark grey.

I bought this eyeliner in Emerald, and I really liked the colour. It goes great with green or blue e/s..Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much staying power as I thought it would. Overall, I would buy this product again. I got on sale for like 1 cent because i bought a l'oreal e/s ...great sale i must say :)

This is worst eyeliner I have ever had. I applied it on my eyelids just upon the lashes. It dissappered after ten minutes.

The only postive point is that it looks sleek and fancy. But don't waste your money and feeling.

I have this in the black shade. I'm truly sorry that I wasted any money on this. It smears and smudges like crazy. Instantly after I had applied it, it had already smudged on my lids. Yuck! I was looking for a liner that would really stay put all day and this is not it. IMO even the extra cheap Wet & Wild eyeliners work a lot better than this one. Save your money.

i have this in ebony, the magazine had suggested it to copy kate bekinsales smokey eye. i tried it and im on the fence about it. i liked how the color was intense (not as intense as bekinsales look however). it glides on sooo well and easily because its such a smooth and liquid type pencil. and it was very blendable. it will smudge on your lower lash if you apply alot on the top and blink hard. i applied to the bottom to get a more dramatic effect. it looked nice but after a nite of clubbing it smudged a lil more than i had smudged myself. but that didnt matter much because i was going for the smokey look anyway. the color was still strong and didnt budge. but it will smudge on ur lower lash line. i didnt like how if you sharpen it will break in your sharpener. the pencil is so sensitive and soft that its good for smoking out eyes, but it causes a waste when your sharpening it, u tend to lose some chunks and have to sharpen all over again.
