I love this colour, a plummy red that is mid-toned with silvery glitter (of the very very fine type) in it. The brush is a breeze to apply and the colour is easy to match with different skin tones.Lasting power is about 5 days IMHO even with base and topcoat..

As if I didn't love Chanel enough already. A very sweet swapper sent me a bottle of this as an extra, and until now, I'd never tried Chanel polish. I figured it being nail polish, it's just be overpriced. Well, like most all Chanel products, it may be expensive but the quality definitely makes it worth it! I've been wearing one coat of Scirocco for seven days to job interviews where my nails must look nice and well groomed. There has been no chipping, flaking, cracking at all. I am so impressed. Scirocco on my nails looks like a pretty mauvey rose with subtle silver shimmer- completely appropriate for the executive work place. Will definitely look into more Chanel polishes.

I bought this one on a whim! I was looking for a new color, borred with all my other colors, and I came across this one. Different from all my other nail polishes and not a color I would normally buy. That said, I love it. Kind of a plum color with silver glitter. Not over the top silver glitter, subtle. Would buy again.

Ideally, I wanted to find a n/p that was closer to the color of my adored Unity Glossimer (rosy bronze), but alas there is not Chanel (my HG n/p) polish of the same name.

However, as the MA was helping me to find a new color I kept being drawn to Sirocco. It is a deep pink/red w/ silver shimmer. It is definitely cool toned, which is something I wouldn't typically wear, but I couldn't resist another Chanel n/p.

As always this Chanel polish is top notch. One minor chip since I applied it nearly 4 days ago!

I will probably not put it on my tips again, but a staple for my toes in the Spring/Summer. That is the only reason it got 4 lippies instead of 5!

I love Chanel nail polish. In my opinion it is the best nail polish out there. Chanel nail polish in Sirocco is simply the best Christmas Red that I have been able to find. It is a gorgeous deep clear red with no shimmer or sparkle. I only wear red polish during the Holidays - the rest of the year I prefer more quiet colors. I think this would make a beautiful colors for toes as well.
