This shampoo did not rinse out easily and weighed my hair down. It looked greasy but felt dry. Don't waste your money, any L'oreal shampoo is much better than this for a lot cheaper.

I found this shampoo to be a little harsh for my hair. It seemed to strip my hair of it's natural moisture, and the conditioner did nothing to put the moisture back in. It's also very heavily fragranced, and the smell stays on your hair for a long time. Blah!

i bought this & the conditioner after trying PLUM. this has to be the worst salon product i've come accross. i was very disappointed. it had a wonderful scent and that's about it. my hair felt like straw afterwards. took it back to the salon & the manager confessed to me that this product was no good. there are drugstore brands that fare better than this product.

I got this shampoo as a gift from a friend. It seems pretty average to me, but I have two complaints about it: it has a strong fragrance and it doesn't rinse well with soft water (it works better with hard water). Overall, this shampoo isn't worth the high price.

Ohhh myyy loordd. I've just used this for the first time on my dry, colored hair. My hair has NEVER felt so soft. I had my hair highlighted a few days ago and they are positively glowing. Besides the fact that my hair looks and feels amazing, it smells wonderful...it doesn't really smell like the beach, but it reminds you of it..kind of a cool breeze scent. It lingers in the hair and smells lovely..especially on a gross day like this, it's a real mood booster :). The packaging is nice--the shampoo itself is a deep blue color-and it brightens up the bathroom. For someone who has fine, thin, colored hair like me I say go for this shampoo..I got mine in a huge containers (shampoo and conditioner) for $20...but it's worth every cent!

Smells great but made my hair too dry. Good price though;got a giant bottle from my hairdresser for under $20.00.

I love this! The scent is very pretty and it does wonders for my hair. If I feel like my color is fading, I use this, and it looks much brighter. It also makes my hair soft and shiny. I would definitely repurchase this, the only con is the price...but for a splurge, definitely!

I like the Back to Basics shampoos I have tried, but the overpowering smell of the Marine shampoo was too much for me. It has a very heavy fragrance, what I term "yellow perfume" scent. I am allergic to many perfumes and this shampoo fits into this category. The shampoo itself seemed okay, did not dry my hair, but also did not do anything special for my color-treated hair.

This did nothing for my long hair. it actually made it hard to run my fingers through - and made it tangle more easily. It seemed to prevent static, but that's the only good thing i can say about it. I used it for a few days to give it a fair trial, but i just hated it. I switched back to my Aveda Sap moss and now my hair is soft, silky, static AND tangle -free.

LOVE this!!! This is the first colour-protecting shampoo I've ever used that both protects my colour and cleans my oily-prone scalp. The blue colour brightens up my bathroom, and the scent is so fresh and clean. I love this so much.

Holy Grail! This is a really wonderful shampoo for color-treated hair! The scent does kind of smell kind of ocean-y. I just had my hair done with lots of beautiful highlights and so far this shampoo and conditioner has kept my hair as vibrant as the day that I had it done! I would repurchase even if I didn't have my hair colored since I haven't had a bad hair day since I started using this line!

Seriously, for the price, this stuff rocks!! And it smells delish, leaving a nice scent on the hair afterwards. I use this with the conditioner, and my blonde, color treated (but sometimes oily) hair feels just like silk!! Great stuff AND they give free samples - what could be better?

This is now my holy grail of shampoos for my dyed hair! I dye my hair a deep auburn red, and red tends to fade quickly. Most of the time, the red has faded to a brown within two weeks, and then to a golden strawberry blonde by the time I get it redone (5 weeks). Well, it has now been 2 weeks and my hair is the same vibrant red that it was when I walked out of the salon! This shampoo smells wonderful, lathers quite nicely, and really cleans up oil and product buildup. I must shampoo daily, as I have a very oily scalp. I don't use many products in my hair for styling - just gel and hairspray - but this shampoo gets rid of any residue left from the day before. Not cheap, but not horribly expensive - I paid $8.50, which is higher than drugstore, but lower than salon. I hope they never discontinue this product. I love the entire Back to Basics line as well, and my stylist fully endorses it, too!

I really like this! My super, hyper, ULTRA-thinck curly and highlighted hair is ALWAYS such a rat's nest when I wake up in the morning, but this is nice to use with the conditioner too, because it leaves my hair smooth, nicely scented and detangled. It also doesn't cause too much build up on me, which is nice, because all my other fave shampoos do. It also makes my hair look very shiny, which I like as well!

I've bought this 3 times now, and I've been using it for over a year. I buy the litres...can be found at the mall. 2 for $22 which makes these 40oz bottles a reasonable purchase.

I so did not like this shampoo! My hair never felt clean after using it. It wasn't clean-rinsing, and I don't think it was all that great for my color-treated hair. It managed to make my hair feel dry as straw and weighed down and oily at the same time.

Oh, how I love the scent of this one. I consider it B2B's best. The shampoo itself is pretty gentle, too, and my hair always stays in great condition after using it.
