This is a great product! I have rebought it several times. Once I ran out for a month & could see the difference as lack of firmness in my face-although I was still using the Clarins Firming Creams. I hate when I start to run out but always rebuy for the great product quality!

This is very oily. There are two serums dispersed through one pump and sometimes it squirts across the room. It does plump me up and make my face look fatter, which is good, but I believe it gave me zits in my Area 51 of my right cheek.
I got this at TJ Maxx in a kit, so in my pleasure to see if under the glass at the jewelry counter I bought two Clarin's kits. I know it was a lot cheaper, but it still was expensive. Live and learn I guess.

Now, I've only used this product a few times but it really is the only product that truly moisturizes my skin. I apply a thin layer of this after a toner and then after waiting approx. 20 minutes to let it sink into my skin, I "seal" it with Olay's Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum.

The next morning, I wake up to an plump soft hydrated (not oily) face. Having a truly hydrated skin makes applying makeup that much easier.
Also, I'm not sure if i'm seeing things but it has helped ease (temporarily) the fine lines under eyes!

Once my samples run out, I will definitely buy....eventhough, it's way too expensive at $90/bottle.

After hearing a friend rave about this product, I decided that I had to give it a shot. I wish I hadn't. It didn't take care of my dry patches yet it still broke me out! This product smells nice, but in my case, provided NO RESULTS! It is not worth the cost. AT ALL.

This is THE product everyone needs to have. I use it at night mainly (before I used my Lotus oil) and wore it underneath my extra firming night cream. The results were spectacular.
I use it during the day when I need an extra boost of moisture and am missing it as I am using my Lotus oil for at least a month to control and purge my pores.

This is a fantastic product. It has 45 vitamins and minerals in it and works with your skin in a wonderful way.

This is another amazing Clarins product. Amazing! It has dual chambers, each with a different serum in it. They come out as one, but I still mix it in the palm of my hand, to create one super concentrated treatment. One of the serums is very light, almost like a gel. The other one is richer, like a light oil. It's not greasy at all. Before I review it, let me start out with my skin: I am in my very early 30's, I have combination & acne prone skin and very fine under eye lines. It would have never occurred to me to use this product on my skin, but my trusted Clarins SA gave me a sample of it, and she is almost always right. (The sample even had the dual chambers on it!) I only use it once or twice a week, when I give myself a "facial". I use the BrightPlus Gentle Exfoliator, then the Aromatic Purifying or Extra Firming Mask and then this. My skin practically drinks it, which happens rarely, considering my skin type. I even use it under my eyes and it makes the dark circles seem to disappear! I agree with the other reviewer, this is a product that has to be used long term to see results. Then again, I think that this is more of a preventative treatment, kind of like the way sunscreen is used. The results are more of what you DON'T see--lines, dry patches, and dull skin--then what you do see. When I use it, I feel like I'm giving my skin a multivitamin, and it really makes my skin glow! It looks so good, it's a shame I only apply it at night! Every time I use it I feel like I'm putting something extravagant and luxurious on my skin. I absolutely love it! It would be too expensive for me to use daily, luckily for me, I only use it a few times a week. I would definitely try it before you buy it, because as we all know, not everything works for everyone. Clarins is great about samples. If you buy it and don't like it, you can always take it back--or swap it to me:)) UPDATE: I'm soooo hooked on this product! I managed to swap for a fullsize of it and I use it every single night. If I can't keep swapping for it, I will BUY it! I cannot live without this stuff:)

At first I thought I Loved this and it was making a huge difference to my skin but then I had a breakout so I stopped using it (it is a very oily serum) .My\ skin didn't feel any worse when i stopped and didn't feel improved when I started again so i will finish it but I don't think I will re purchase after all. Its good value in terms of how long it takes to finish but I don't feel its an essential purchase for me.

I love this product! I use it at night and in the morning my skin is soft and glowing. At 50+ years this is nothing short of a miracle. It is a bit on the oily side, but that hasn't been a problem, other than I wouldn't use it for daytime.
The packaging is a little odd with two serums being pumped out at once then mixed in your hand. We'll see what happens when I get to the bottom of the bottle. Do they have this worked out to empty both sides at the same time???

Been using this off-and-on for a couple of months, and really like it. I don't use much, because I don't need much for my aging combo skin, but when I do it sinks in nicely and leaves my skin glowy. Next morning is the payoff...soft and radiant skin. Haven't noticed any toning effect, but I probably don't use it enough. I use one pump each for face and neck. Love the way it smells. Would buy again.

I tried using this in the summer, and found it way too greasy. So I forgot about it. Recently, the weather is so cold and my combo skin has become dry. Remembered this serum, and started using it again. AMAZING! Very moisturizing, and doesn't feel greasy at all in the current weather. No more dry patches, and my skin just looks better! Love this! But probably too greasy to use when the weather gets hot & humid again.

I have been using this 3-4 times a week for the past 6 weeks and it has done nothing for me. I have noticed a lot more whiteheads on my upper cheeks since using this. This is an area I have NEVER been prone to breakouts on, so I figure this is the culprit. After reading the glowing reviews on MUA, I bought this wickedly cheap compared to the counter price and I thank my lucky stars I am so cheap because if I had paid full price for this I'd cry. It feels quite oily and smells quite nice, but I think I will use it after my face mask once a week, otherwise on my hands it stays. If it works for you, that's cool, but I recommend trying samples first.

I stopped using this temporarily and a week ago started again, within days my face was baby soft and glowing. The glycolic and retinol products I was using was drying my face, and this formula is heaven and made my skin better than normal, calm and glowing.

I LOVE this stuff. I do not use it every day, as I suspect it has a slight tendency to clog my pores if used too often. I use it as an "emergency" (okay, or "minor issue" or "I feel icky") solution. Whenever I feel my skin is looking dull, dry, stressed, or like I haven't been getting enough sleep...it's time for Total Double Serum!

I use two pumps, rub my palms together, and pat over my face. The experience should certainly not be horribly oily for anyone using the correct amount and technique -- my skin looks & feels slightly shiny when I first apply, and mere *moments* later the serum is completely absorbed, leaving my skin soft, hydrated, and supple. This really revitalizes my skin like nothing else. It's my "secret weapon" for stressful weeks & post-plane travel. I find myself reaching for this a lot more now that winter (and the accompanying dry air & wind!) is here.

I don't see any effect on minor wrinkles etc.(and don't expect to), but it brings a noticable radiance and suppleness to unhappy skin. It restores the "glow." It's never broken me out, but I sometimes *think* I see a little more clogging/blackheads when I use this for several days in a row, so I play it safe and don't use it every day. Has a pleasant slight herbal/botanical sort of scent I associate with Clarins. Costs $79 per bottle & I'm still using the one I bought in May 2004 (review written 11/19/05).

For reference: I'm in my early 30s and have normal/combo skin, some very fine hereditary lines beneath my eyes, and the beginnings of a little creasing around the eyes when I smile. My skin is not sensitive. My skin gets clogged easily & I will break out from products that are too emollient.

Run, run, run to the nearest Clarins counter and give this product a try! This is one of my HG products. I don't use any other Clarins products, but I am very happy with the Total Double Extra-Firming Serum. I use this product after I've cleansed my skin and before I've moisturized, usually at night - sometimes during the day for a change. It immediately leaves your skin hydrated and glowing. By morning, my skin looks much more rested and fresh - fine lines are slowly going away. I'm very happy with this serum! Plus, it does not clog my pores, irritate my skin, or cause any breakouts.

I use two pumps, one doesn't seem to be enough, and then I blend the serum on my fingertips before applying. The scent is very fresh - not too perfumey.

I tried this after reading all the great reviews here.......and have absolutely **no** results. It's been 6 weeks, and the best I can say is that this has not broke me out. There is no improvement in firmness or clarity. In fact, it is not even a decent moisurizer.....I find I need to put a cream over top of this, or wake up with dry patchy skin. I'll finish the bottle, as this was mega expensive. But overall, this is a big disapointment!!!

I bought this product after all the amazing reviews. Unfortunately I did not have the same great experience. I was pretty shocked to see how oily it was. It was literally like globbing oil all over your face. I will say that my skin after applying it looked amazing. It really does glow and complimented my La Mer nicely. However my skin felt very heavy and congested. Also it provideda glow to my skin, but did absolutely nothing for my lines. I can't say there is any firming going on just hydration. I don't think this would be great in the summer at all. After a few days my skin had a serious reaction to this and broke out with little red bumps and acne everywhere. It is rare when that happens to me now adays. It took weeks for my skin to get back to normal. As a result this gets bad marks from me.

My skin was driving me nuts. My face was mostly normal but right around the mouth and on the chin, my skin was super tight/dry and would even flake sometimes. I also had some uneven tone...splotches. When I bought this, I had my doubts, but after regular use, I can say I really LOVE it.
It's managed to keep my flakes at bay, no more tightness, and it's evened out my skin tone.
I use 1 pump for day time use, and 2 for night. I warm the serum up in my hand and then press it into my skin. It's a little oily at first, but sinks in nicely and smells heavenly too.
In combination with La Mer cream, Biotherm Biosensitive Cleansing Milk, and the Green Cream...my skin is looking (and acting) exactly like I want.
Strawberrynet.com has this for $50+ instead of it's regular $80+ price.

bought this--thank god a sample on ebay for $2--based upon MUA reviews. hate it. I'm 35 and starting to lose a bit of elasticity and was planning on using this only once/twice a week or so as a post-microderm treatment. Caused zits and blackheads and is very very oily. Also packaging SUCKS...two sides don't come out equally. PLUS it's insanely expensive if you buy it at the counter. Thumbs down!

This is fantastic stuff! After reading all the wonderful comments, I just had to invest to save my dull dehydrated skin! At first the shine made me think "This can do serious damage to ones eyes" but I realised, I had put on too much -yes, less is more- and after another restless night of sleep, my skin fortunately was not affected! Glowing results! And today before using it with my moisturiser, HEAVENLY skin! You go Clarins! (FYI I have dry skin, 31 yrs old)
